Khushi- Mommy, meet my friend Karan?
Abhi and Raj were both shocked while Gunraj stood there without saying anything.
Naina bent down toward Khushi and Karan.
Naina(to Karan)- Hi, Karan... Aap ka naam bahut cute hai bilkul aap ki tarah... Khushi beta, why don't you take Karan to our room and play with new toys. I have already taken them out.
Khushi and Karan were happy and they ran upstairs to play with new toys.
After Kids left, Naina turned around to face guys who were still there.
Abhi- Naina, I didn't know you had kid.
Naina- I didn't know about your kid either... Karan is cute. He looks just like you.
Abhi- Thanks... Khushi is like an angel... by the way where is Khushi's father?
Before Naina could answer, Gunraj spoke up.
Gunraj- He is on a mission too...
Abhi- So he is in army too...
Gunraj- Yeah he is a colonel in the army...
Raj who was silent until now went to Naina and congratulated her for her daughter and her new life.
Raj- Well, I hope ki hamari mulakat Khushi ke papa se jald hi hogi...
Naina didn't say anything and by that time Nandini, Vidya and others had come down along with Kids.
After a short reunion, everyone sat on the table for the lunch. After the lunch, Aalekh, Huda, Ali, Aditi, Shikha and Pooja decided to check out the town and they took Karan and Khushi along with them.
On the other hand, Gunraj-Vidya and Abhi-Nandini went to their rooms too.
Raj was still in the living room thinking about Naina.
Raj(to himself)- Main kyon khush nahi hoon. Naina apni zindagi main aage badh chuki hai... Uski apni ek choti si duniya hai... bahut hi pyari angel si beti hai... Main yahi to chahta tha phir naina ki zindagi main kisi aur ka hona mujhe itna kyon bother kar raha hai...
Raj was still in thought when Naina came into the room. She had already found out that she was going to work with Raj in this mission. Raj felt her presence around him and he shook out of his thoughts.
Naina sat on the sofa opposite to him. She didn't know where to begin. She was feeling awkard to talk to him. Raj saw her awkardness and decided to break the ice.
Raj- It looks like you had read the file. Major Gaur want us to work together but if you don't want....
Naina- An order is an order, Sir...
Raj looked up when Naina called him Sir...
Naina- Well technically, you are my senior officer so I have to call you sir, isn't it?
Raj- I never wanted you to call me sir. Raj is better...
Naina(seriously)- I wanted to make some things clear with you. I am here because of this mission. I have to work with you but that doesn't mean that I like it because I remember everything when we last worked together. I don't want anything like that to happen again so I suggest that we keep our work strictly on professional manner.
Raj was listening to her silently and he knew what she was indicating to.
Raj- I understand and I will keep it everything professional.
Naina left from there and Raj sat there looking sad.
Raj remembered the day when he found out that Naina was Naveen's sister.

It had been few months since Raj and Naina had posted to KMA.
Raj was happy because his sister Shikha was there and his friends Abhimanyu and Nandini were there too. Raj and Naina had become very good friends in past few months.
One morning, Raj went to the jogging as usual when he also saw Naina who was just sitting by the lake instead of jogging like every morning.
Raj went there and sat beside her.
Raj- No jogging today?
Naina- Just thinking something...
Raj- About what?
Naina- Raj, do you know the room where the new faculty member is staying...
Raj- Yeah suriji has key as he is arranging everything, but why do you ask?
Naina- Nothing thanks... I will see you later...
Naina left leaving Raj confused but he also went back to his routine as he had a drill in the morning.
After the drill, he was going to the mess when he saw Naina talking to suriji and Suriji handed her the key and she moved toward the room. Raj followed her and when she was about to open the door, he tapped on her shoulder and she freaked out.
Naina- geez, Raj you scared me...
Raj- What are you doing? And what is all this? Eggs, bucket and rope?
Naina- Shut up and help me set this up in the room...
Raj- You want to play a prank on the new faculty member. Are you crazy?
Naina- No, I want to get back at him. Last time when we met, he played last practical joke on me so now it's my turn.
Raj- Wait.. You know him?
Naina- Of course, he is my best friend Captain Gunraj Randhawa... He was with me in civilian college and then academy and our first mission was together too. I have known him for eight years... I was the one who helped him confess his love and helped them get married.
Raj(smiled)- ok then let me help you...
Naina put the eggs in the bucket and Raj attached it with a rope on the door, so if anyone opens the door he is welcomed by all the eggs on his head.
In the evening, Captain Gunraj Randhawa had arrived with his wife Captain Vidya. Naina met them after they had reported to BC.
Naina- Ok why don't I accompany you guys to your room and then you can freshen up and we will have dinner at my quarter.
Vidya- Sounds good...
Gunny- Ok then let's go...
They were leaving when they had seen Raj coming their way.
Naina introudced Raj to Gunny and Vidya.
They all headed to the room. When they reached the room, Raj handed the key to Gunny and stood at little distance.
Gunny opened the door and Vidya was about to go with him when Naina stopped her and Gunny alone entered the room and a splash.
He was covered by eggs and Vidya & Raj started laughing.
Gunny looked back at Naina.
Naina(smiled)- Gotcha....
Gunny- teri to... ruk and before Naina could do anything he dragged her toward him and hugged her so Naina's clothes were ruined with eggs too.
Naina- You... why did you do that?
Gunny- That's a punishment to play a prank on me.
After sometime they both changed and Naina had cooked dinner for them. She had also invited Raj, Abhi and Nandini. Vidya and Gunny came earlier and they had been talking.
Vidya- Naina is really good cook... I love these pakora too much...
Gunny- Haan, jab Naveen academy se aata tha to main aur wo mil kar Naina se khoob sare pakore banwate the aur hum log bahut enjoy karte the...
Naina- Haan Naveen bhaiya ko to bas ek bahana chahiye hota tha ki Kab KMA se chutti mile aur kab ghar ka bana khana khaye...
They all realized that they were talking about Naveen and Vidya was shocked when she looked at the door. Raj, Abhi and Nandini stood there shocked as they heard the conversation.
Raj was the first one to come out of shock and he came inside. Abhi and Nandini followed him closing the door behind him.
Raj- Are you Naveen's sister Naina?
Naina didn't answer him as she was afraid that now they would not talk to her anymore after finding out that she was Naveen's sister.
Raj understood how she was feeling and he went up to her.
Raj- Naina, you probably don't know us but we were Naveen's friends and I was his room mate for two years when we were at KMA. He was my best friend. I can't believe that we had this connection between us and we didn't realize until now.
Abhi- Hey Naina, we know that Naveen was trapped and we are still trying to find evidences to prove him innocent.
Gunny- so are we, and now since we are on the same side, we can help each other.
Raj- Naina, do you trust us?
Naina looked at him and hugged him saying yes.
They all were happy and they talked more about Naveen and the mission and their findings over the dinner.
It turned out a real beautiful evening indeed.

Raj came out of the trance when he heard Abhi calling him.

On the other side, the group who had gone to visit town were sitting in the restaurant because kids wanted to eat ice cream.
Pooja- Agar Naina ma'am ko pata chal gaya ice cream ke bare main, to is baar tera fault hai Ali...
Ali- Kya pooja, hum ne pichli baar bhi to daant khayi thi is baar aap ki bari hai...
Huda- Cool tum log bhi hamari tarah turn lete ho daant khane ki...
Shikha- Lekin meri ek baat samaj main nahi aati Khushi Ali ko chachu aur Pooja ko Chachi kyon bulati hai...
Pooja blushed at Shikha's question but Aditi shrugged.
Aditi- Come on Pooja, ab sharmana bandh karo... Hum sab jante hai tere aur Ali ke beech kuch tha since academy days...
Aalekh- Ok tum wo sab chodo aur Shikha ke sawal ka jawab do...
Ali- Hum batate hai... Jab pehli baar Khushi ne bolna shuru kiya tab usne Pooja ko Masi bulana shuru kiya tha... Aur phir jab wo usne mujhe Mamu bulaya to Gunraj sir ne Khushi ko shikhaya ki main uska Chachu hoon kyonki agar khushi mujhe mamu aur Pooja ko masi bulayegi to hum dono main bhai-behan ka rishta ban jayega aur wo to possible nahi hai...
Pooja- Or jeeju hamesha khushi ko naye naye pranks shikhate rehte hai... Kuch dino pehle unhone Khushi ko ye practice karvayi ko wo mujhe masi nahi chachi bulaye....
Everyone was laughing when suddenly Huda spoke something which made Ali and Pooja uncomfortable.
Huda- I can't believe Naina ma'am has a daughter. I mean we had never knew about her wedding or her husband aur Ali, Pooja tum dono hum se kai baar baat karte the to tum logo ne pichle char saal main ek baar bhi nahi bataya...
Shikha- Huda sahi keh raha hai...
Ali- Aisi koi baat nahi hai, wo tum sab to jante ho ki pichli baar kya hua tha KMA main... I mean we don't know the whole story lekin kuch to tha jiski wajah se hum sab alag hue the...
Everyone became quiet when suddenly Karan and Khushi came with ice cream on their faces. Shikha smiled at them and wiped their faces and soon they all left to go home as they had observed all information they needed for the case.
