Part 6
They were slowly leaning forward towards each other, eyes locked, Armaan didn't dare blink just incase this dream broke. They were so close to each they hear each other breath, the intensity was getting to much for Ridz, she closed her eyes... they were about to kiss when ... when Armaan's phone rang... the moment had passed and everything was now coming back, it was no longer just him and her, reality had set back in. Armaan answered his phone,
A: "er, he... hello... hi hunny, tum kaise ho... awww... I love you to sweety... ha mein abhi arra hu ghar. Bye. Mwah" He put the phone down.
Ridz was shocked, "woh shaadi shuda hai? 'Love you sweety?...,' iska matlab, mera sapna, sapna hi rehjayega?" The phone call had really kicked her in the guts. She was feeling embarrassed and annoyed at the same time. "Why, I've only known this guy for like 14 hours, so why does it bother me that he might be married. I mean meine yeh pehle kyun nahi soche ki itni good looking aur perfect guy ki shaadi bhi hochuki hogi" Ridz said to herself. She was more angry at herself than anything, that she had let her one meeting with Armaan make her feel so much.
Armaan glanced at Ridz in his mirror as put the phone down, something had definitely happened in that split second, something they both felt but what. And now when he looked at her, she looked completely different, it was like a shadow had been cast on the face of the angel in front of him. Armaan felt to weird to say anything and the rest of the journey to Ridz was spent in silence.
"Yeh loh, tumara boyfriend aa gaye", a little girl went running towards Armaan and jumped up as he bent down to scoop her up.
A: "toh sweety, kaisi ho" he said planting a kiss on her right cheek.
Little girl "tumse kaathi hu, itni der kyun laga di aane mein". She looked away acting angry.
"Minnie, aise bhaat nehi karte apne chachu ki saath", meet Maya, Minnie's mum and Armaan favourite cousin in the world.
Mi: "yeh meri chachu nahi, boyfriend hai mama", Armaan pulled her cheek,
A: "ha, di, mein iski boyfriend hu, tum bhi naa..." Armaan put Minnie down and went towards his cousin and hugged her.
A: "Tum dono yaha? Kya hua, jiju se jagra ho gayi kya?" he said winking at her
Ma: "Nehi dude, mein baas aise hi teri liya khala ki paas aek rishta lekhar aayi hu"
A: "What? Di phir se, mein aap logo ko kitni baar samjau ki mujhe arranged marriage nahi karna, aur waise bhi mujhe ab apni career ki bare mein bhi to soch na hai"
Armaan walked towards the table to pick up an apple, Masti grabbed it and ran off.
A: "Mummy, Masti ko bolo na..."
Mu: "Armaan, woh bachi hai, anyways, tume kyun shaadi nahi karna chahte. Agar tumhari biwi ayegi, to phir mujhe itni raath takh tumahari intizaar nahi karna parta, woh karleti, ghar par meri madhat bhi karegi aur agar yeh saab nahi karsaki atleast tume to sudhar sakti hai"
Everyone sat around talking slightly longer then went to bed.
It was 2am and Armaan was in his room thinking about what happened in the car, "mujhe yeh kyah hora hai, usse mille hue 1 din bhi nehi hua aur already mein uski aur kisiki bari mein soch bhi nahi raha", Armaan got up from his bed annoyed with himself. He couldn't get to sleep. Not realising what time it was he got dressed and went to the local basketball court (not to far from his house). This was the only way Armaan was able to relax. When playing basketball Armaan would completely loose track of anything around him and play non-stop.
Ridz on the other hand was lying in bed crying. She couldn't understand why she was so upset, there was just something inside of her which had completely broken and she couldn't stop herself.
Ridz woke up in the morning with a severe headache, all the crying the night before had made her feel unwell, so she decided not to go to the hospital. Shashank checked on her health and agreed also that she wasn't well enough to attend to patients.
"Okay to aap sabh ki burn case ki report mujhe meri cabin mein 10 minute mein chahiye. Clear?" Armaan said as he looked at the four remaining interns. "Aap ki 4th saathi aaj kaha hai" he asked looking around for Ridz. He had decided while playing basketball the night before that he would make it clear where they stood, although he couldn't quite understand why he had to do this. Armaan could feel there was something there between him and Ridz which although it felt right, it also sounded wrong, she was his junior and he her senior so he felt he had to make this clear. It was the only sane thing to do (or was it? He kept asking himself, why do I have to do anything...)
All the interns looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.
"Tikh hai, aap sabh jaa sakhte hai", with that all the interns left, leaving Armaan feeling weird, he was worried about Ridz, he couldn't understand why.
Armaan was on his way to his cabin to call Ridz when he received a page from Shashank.
(Knock, knock)
Armaan entered Shashank's cabin
A:"Apne mujhe bulaiya Dr Shashank"
Shashank looked up from the case file he was looking at
Sha: "Yes, come in Dr Armaan, bethiye"
Armaan took a seat looking slightly worried, he wasn't sure what was going on, was he in trouble, had Rhiddima said something to her dad...
Sha: "Itni gabrahe mat Dr Armaan, mein apko yaha bulaya hai kyunki mein aapko inform karna chahta ta, ki Riddhima aaj nahi aa payagi, uski tabiyat kuch teekh nahi isliye"
A: "Kya hua usse? Woh teekh to hai na" he said sounding worried
Shashank heard the worry in his voice but decided to put it down to his being a Dr, he would be worried about anyone's health
Sha: "Woh kuch nahi, baas torri si saard mein dart hai aur kuch pale lagrehi thi, shayed kaal lambi shift ne usko taakadiya hoga, major kuch nahi"
Armaan finished his chat with Shashank and left the cabin feeling more uneasy and worried about Ridz then he was going into the cabin.
As soon as Armaan had a break, he left work to go and visit Ridz, he needed to know she was okay. Through out the morning he kept worrying about Ridz and kept asking himself why.
Armaan pulled up outside of the gates leading to Ridz's house, "Armaan tu yaha kya karaha hai, woh ghar par hai aur bilkul tikh hogi, nahi usse dekhe beghar nahi jounga" Armaan was arguing with himself, the latter part won. He was just about to step out of the car, when he saw...
It was raining slightly and the sun was shining, perfect weather for a rainbow. Ridz opened her eyes slowly and looked towards her balcony. She was feeling better now. She got up went out to the balcony; the light raining was hitting her face, tickling her. It made her feel like a child again and she started jumping about dancing on her balcony. Ridz was completely lost in her the rain that she didn't notice someone looking up at her from the gates.

Part 7
Ridz was dancing on the balcony and didn't realise Armaan had walked out onto the balcony to join her. Ridz was turning around on her heels without a care in the world with her eyes closed when she slipped and Armaan caught her just before she the floor. He stared at her, the rain was hitting her face lightly but she was to mesmerized by Armaans' eyes she couldn't blink. Armaan could hear her pound from the dancing, he could hear her shallow breath. The wind blew Ridz' hair as she blushed slightly and was shimmering in the sunlight because of the rain falling on it (like littele twinkling stars in her hair). Armaan slowly moved the hair from her face with his hand, her skin was so soft, Ridz closed her eyes, the touch had sent sweet shivers down her spine.
Armaan leaned forward and kissed the rain from her eyelids, Ridz was melting into his arms, Armaan slowly touched her lips with his hands, Ridz's lips quivered from the touch. Armaan couldn't hold back any longer, he leaned forward to kiss her... they were millimetres away from each other when...
"Di...", Ridz was abruptly woken from her trance, she was gazing at the sky imagining all this. Ridz ran back into her room and jumped under her covers hiding her face, she couldn't understand what was going on her with her, she was in no fit state to face Sapna right now.
S: "Di?" Sapna whispered as she peered around the door. Sapna had finished college early today and came home to be informed her sweet sister wasn't feeling well.
Rhiddima was in bed shivering, Sapna was shocked, was Ridz really ill this time? She went to take a closer look.
S: "Di? Aap ki taniyat kaisi he, aap teeck to ho na?" Sapna sat down on the bed to look at her sister. Rhiddima was crying uncontrollably, shocked and worried "Di, kya hua? Aap aise kyun ronrehe?... Mamma!" Sapna shouted,
Rhiddima grabbed Sapna's hand, "Shhhhh, please Ma ko matt bulaw yaha" Ridz said still crying. "Mujhe kuch nahi hua hai"
S: "Toh phir app itne kui ronrehe" Sapna was really worried now, the last Ridz cried like this was when there Nani had died 10 years ago, Ridz had never cried since, even if she hurt herself she would never cry. She was always busy making those around her happy, so what happened today.
R: "Patta nahi, yeh aaso rukhte nahi, no matter what I do, yeh aaso aathe rehte hai..." she said sobbing. Deep down Ridz knew why she was so upset but couldn't bring herself to except the truth.
S: "I know Di, kyun na hum shopping chale, aap ka mann bhi teekh ho jaega aur mujhe kuch free kapre miljaenge"
R: "Free?" Ridz was confused
S: "Kyun aap mere liya kapre karedenge" Sapna was trying her hardest to make her sister smile if not laugh
Ridz pushed her off the bed and smiled
S: "Ow, aisi bhaat hai, fine, ab aap mere liya kapre ke saath lunch bhi treat karna parega" She said rubbing her bottom (where she had landed)
Sapna and Ridz got dressed and went to the local shopping mall. Sapna was constantly trying to cheer her sister up, Ridz just smiled and mumbled a few replies to Sapna's questions.
S: "Di, shopping hogaye, ab mujhe zor se bookh lagi hai, kuch lunch hojaye"
Ridz was so busy in her thoughts that she forgot she hadn't eaten anything all day and now that Sapna mentioned it, she was feeling rather empty. They went to small fish & chip shop in the mall and ordered chips with cod covered in batter.
They got their orders and sat down to eat, after a few moments Sapna noticed Ridz wasn't eating much, "Kya hua Di, aap koh bookh nahi hai? Me kha lu?" She said smiling mischievously Ridz. Ridz never shared her food, she loved her food to much to share with anyone.
R: "Mujhe bookh nahi hai, kha lo" she said pushing her plate towards Sapna. Sapna was shocked "What!?!, aap kho bookh nahi hai, yeh aap kya kehrehe ho. Di" she reached over and shook her sister, "What's the matter with you?"
Ridz looked up with teary eyes, "mujhe pyar hogeya hai" she whispered
S: "huh... sorry meine suna nahi, kya hua?"
Ridz got annoyed at her sister "MUJHE PYAR HOGAYA HAI!" she said loud enough this time for everyone in the mall to hear.
Everyone stopped and looked at her. She was burning red now with embarrassment.
S: "Di iss mein chilane ki kya zaroorat hai, sabh dekh rahe hai" she said looking around looking embarrassed but smiling at the same time because her sister had finally snapped out of modd and was atleast responding to her.
R: "er...uh...erm... Sorry" she whispered, then started giggling. She was laughing at herself, all this time she was crying because she couldn't accept the fact that she had fallen in love and now that she finally accepted, she had to inform the world. Great.
People started getting on with their own business now, S: "Oooh Di, kaun hai? Dikne mein kaise hai? Kya karta hai? Aap dono ki pehle mulakat kaise hui? Aap koh usse kaha hai ki aap usse payar kar te hai?... hang on, aap koh pyar hogaya hai, toh problem kya hai toh phir aap itni upset kui hai, problem kya hai Di". Sapna was really happy and confused at the same time, her sister had finally fallen in love and instead of being happy about like in the numerous films Sapna had watched all her life, Ridz was upset.
Ridz laugh's, "Hang on, hang on, mujhe kuch bolne bhio degi yah phir aisi hi sawaal karte jaegi"
R: "Voh mere saath kaam karte hai"
S: "Oooh, 'voh' vah vah Di, already so much izzat, so cute"
R: "Shut up" she said nudging her sister playfully
R: "Uska naam Armaan hai aur voh mere saath Sanjeevani mein kaam karte hain"
S: "Hmmm, aur?" she said smiling at her sister who was looking more and more like heself speaking about Armaan
R: "Dikhne mein... (she got slightly shy thinking about how he looked the 1st time she saw him)
S: "Hai hai, mein mar java, Di aap usse itne pyar karte hai to phir problem kya hain?"
Ridz face turned upset again now "uski shaadi ho chuki hai", admitting that fact hurt her a lot.
S: gulp "oh... I see... never mind Di, uski pathni koh kidnap kardenge aur unki shaadi tordenge, Kyun kaisa laga mera plan?"
Ridz smiled at her sister, she was trying so hard and here I am looking miserable she thought. "vaise idea bura nahi hai" she said looking at Sapna with a mischievous smile growing on her lips.
S: "That's better Di, get what you want" Sapna knew Ridz was only joking so this was fine.
They finished off their shopping and went home to find Shashank had finished early to come and check on her.
Armaan was sitting in his cabin thinking how beautiful Ridz looked dancing in the rain, never had he seen a girl look so good without any makeup on, there was something magical about her face that seemed to make him feel good everytime he thought about her.
Armaan was lost in his thoughts when he got a call on his cell from his cousin Maya.
A: "Hi Di, kya bath hai, aaj itni jaldi Minnie koh meri yaad aageyi kya, usse bhol do ki meri duty abhi katham hone mein 2 ganthe hai" (it was 6pm)
Ma: "haan woh toh tume bohot miss karehi hai paar yaha kuch aur logh hai jis ke saath woh ab vaqt kaat rahi hai"
A: "Kuch aur logh? Kaun Di?"
Ma: "Who Masti ki seheli Sapna ayi hai"
A: "Oh, anyways apne kui phone kiya mujhe"
Ma: "Baas tume yeh batane kiliye ki aaj hum sabh meri devar ki engagement party mein jaenge, tum ghar jaldi aana hai Shaam ki party hai, 7:30 don't be late. Okay"
A: "Par Di meine abhi abhi aap koh kaha hai ki meri duty 8 baje katam hotha hai, toh phir mein nahi aa paunga"
Ma: "Tum kaam ke baadh seedeh yaha aajana, it okay agar tum tori late hui, waise ring exchange ceremony 8:30 shuru hoga. Time par aana, mein rakhti hu"
A: "Par Di..."
Maya had hung up before he could complain.
A: "Great, mein waha kisiko jaanta takh nahi, phir bhi jaana hoga" with that he sighs

Part 8
Sha: "Rids beta tum Sapna ko ja collect karlo please beta, hum sabh ko Raj ki ghar jana hai, aaj Krishna ki sagai jo hai"
R: "Sure Papa, mein abhi ayi usse lekhar" she said smiling sweetly at her dad.
With that she went grabbed her keys and left the house.
Raj and Shahshank had been friends since childhood and grew up together, wen to school together even graduated as doctors together, but due to some family commitments Raj was unable to pursue his doctors carear and joined the family business.
When Padma was pregnant with Ridz, Raj's wife was also pregnant and they decided that if Raj had a son then Shashank would get his daughter married to him. They picked a name for the boy before he was born, Krishna, but as luck would have Raj had a daughter. They still named her Krishna and both the girls grew up together to be the best of friends like Raj and Shashank.
Krishna was sent away to study in London which is where she met Shiv and today was their enagement.
Ring Ring
S: "Hello Di"
R: "Sapna, tum ready ho jao mein tumhe collect karne kiliye arrehi hu"
S: "But Di, mein abhi abhi to ayi hu"
R: "Sorry sis, but Papa kehrehe hume aaj Krishna ki sagai mein janahein, remember?"
S: "Crap, mein to bhool hi gayi, okay hold mein abhi Masti ko bol kar nikal jaongi"
R: "Rukho, rukho, rukho, meine kaha na mein arehi hu"
S: "Okay Di, mein apka intezar karungi, bye".
Ridz was really happy for Krishna, Ridz remembered when she had visited Krishna a few months back in London, she had introduced her to Shiv. Shiv was very caring and affectionate towards her and they both seemed to be very happy together. Ridz smiled at the thought of her friend being happy.
Ridz reached Masti's house and called Sapna from the car.
R: "Sapna mein bahar hu, tum jaldi aa jao"
S: "Di, aap please 2 minute ki liye andhar aa jaye, Masti really wants to meet you"
R: "kui?" she answered slightly surprised at this request. Ridz had picked Sapna up from Masti's house on several occasions but never went in, she felt weird as she didn't know these people.
S: "I kind of... meine usko bataya ta ki aap RG hai from Mumbai FM aur who aapko milna chahti hai, please..."
R: "Sapna... (sighs) okay, par sirf 2 minute kiliye, hume Krishna ki sagai par jana hai remember"
With that she parked her car and went pressed on the door bell
Ding dong... the door opens and a really pretty lady opens the door, it was Maya.
by the way I forgot to mention before that Maya's character is played by Aamna Sharif ' aka Kashish)
R: "Namaste, mein Sapna ki bari behen, usse collect karne ayi ti"
Maya was taken aback by the sweetness and simplicity of Ridz and couldn't herself but smile
M: "Namaste, andhar aye"
Masti came running down the stairs closely followed by Sapna
Mas: "Hi, can I have your autograph... please" she was slightly out of breath, partly from the running and partly from being so excited about meeting RG
R: "Erm... sure" she raised an eyebrow at Sapna
Sapna burst out laughing... "Doofus, yeh meri behen hai, koi film star nahi" she said slapping Masti on her back
Mas: "Chup, I know, par she's ..." turning back to look at Ridz "so great, apne radio kui chordi Di ... erm... can I call you Di?"
Ridz laughed, she had never encountered such behaviour towards herself before and was slightly surprised that anyone actually knew her from the radio show.
R: "Ofcourse you can, isme poochne ki kya zaroorat hai" she said as she ruffled Masti's hair.
Maya was just looking on and smiling at them, this girl is perfect she thought.
Minnie ran into the room thinking Armaan had come, she pushed her way past Masti and was about to hug Armaan when she saw Ridz instead and stopped letting her arms fall down.
Ridz noticed the happy look disappearing from Minnie's face. "Sorry, meine apko disappoint kiya, aap kiski intezaar karehe te?" she said bending lifting Minnie's chin to look at her face.
Min: "huh, meine socha meri..."
M: "Minnie beta, meine kaha tah na usse aana mein late hoga, aur yeh kyat um abhi takh tayar nahi huwe, chachu ki party mein nahi jana?"
Minnie was happy at the thought of meeting her favourite chachu (after Armaan) and said "meh 2 minute mein aati hu, mama aap bhi jaldi ready hojaya, kay" and ran from the room to get ready.
R: "Toh hum bhi chalet hai, aapko kahi jana hai"
M: "Arre aise nahi, aap humare ghar pehli bhar aye hai, to kuch kha kar jana hoga"
Mas: "ha, aur mujhe apse bohot kuch poochna hai"
R: "Phir kabhi, hume bhi kahi jana hai aaj", With that she was turning to leave when she noticed a small frame on the coffe table next to the stairs Masti and Sapna had just ran down.
Mas: "Please Di, 2 minute kiliye rukh jayeh"
S: "Di, come on, 2 minute rukh jayenge to hum late nahi honge"
Ridz agreed, partly because Masti was asking so sweetly and partly because of the picture...
Maya went to get them all coffee's and Masti, Sapna and Ridz sat down on the couches. Ridz kept stealing glances at the picture while smiling and talking to Ridz and Maya. She couldn't believe what she saw, the picture was of Armaan hugging Minnie. They looked so happy together.
That's when it dawned on her that she must be in Armaan house and this is his family, Masti his little sister and Maya... Maya must be Armaan's wife and Minnie his daughter, the thought just made her more upset but Maya was so nice to her that she couldn't help but like her and feel happy for Armaan for having such a sweet wife, whom he was definitely happy with.

Part 9
Maya had just finished dressing Minnie and was looking for Armaan's mum to talk to her.
Ma: "Khala... khala... aap kaha hai, mujhe aap se kuch zaroori bhaat karni hai" she entered Armaan's room and saw his mother taking some clothes out of his cupboard for him to wear when he came back from the hospital for the evening's event.
Ma: "Khala, aap yaha hai, mujhe aap se kuch bhaat karni hai. Yeh aap kya karehe?"
Mu: "Kya hua, itni zaroori kya bhaat hai, oh yeh, Armaan ko kapre choose karneme dher na hojaye isliye, bolo kya bhaath hai"
Armaan had just finished duty and was getting into his car to go home when his phone rang
A: "Hello"
Mu: "Armaan beta tumari kaam khatam hogaya? Meine tumhari bed par kuch kapre rakhe hai, tum wohi pehen kar jaldi yaha aa jao"
A: "Okay mummy, love you, bye" and hang up the phone.
Meanwhile at Krishna's house the party was in full swing, there was lots of singing and dancing, old women eyeing up propective boys and girls for their children/grandchildren, men making general conversation, children running around playing... everyone was having a good time and complimenting the decor and the evening preparations.
Rhiddima came rushing into the house, she had stopped off at the shops to buy her best friend an engagement present and had let her family go on ahead without her.
Riddhima was wearing her normal clothes (jeans and blakc sweater) as she had not gotten dressed yet, she went up the stairs and into Krishna's room.
R: "Wow, meri jaan, I swear agar mein koi larka hota to tume isi waqt baga kar leja ta"
We see Krishna turn around from the mirror laughing at this remark (its Anjali from KavyAnjali) looking very pretty in a turquoise coloured lengha with gold beaded embroidery all over it.
K: "Ridzy, tum bhi na..." and she rushed forward to hug her friend "Tum kaise ho, my god, it's been so long"
R: "Mein achi hu, kya bhaath hai jaan aaj itni sundhar lagrehi ho, kuch khaas bhaat hai kya aaj?" she raised an eyebrow at Krishna with a mischievous smile on her lips. "Aur what do you mean it's been long, humari kal raath hi to baath hui"
K: "I know, but I missed you"
R: "Awww, give me another hug"
And the hugged again, after a few minutes there was a knock on the door, Maya entered the room.
M: "ahem"
R: "Mayaji, aap yaha?"
Ma: "Oh Hi RG, tum yaha kaise?"
K: "Aap aek dusre ko jaante hai?" she said looking at Maya 1st then Ridz
Ma: "Actually hum aaj hi pehle bar mile, iski behen Sapna Masti ki saath college jahti hai"
K: "Oh, Ridz, yeh Shiv ki bhabhi hai, aur yeh meri best friend Rhiddima"
R: "Oh" and smiled, "Great, yeh yaha bhi hai, to phir Armaan bhi zaroor ayega" she thought to herself.
Ma: "Actually mein tume niche lene ayethi, sabh tumhari liye niche intezar karehe"
R: "Mayaji, mein use lekhar aati hu"
Maya agreed and left to join the rest of the guests downstairs.
Armaan didn't know the address so he called Maya to get the address.
Ma: "Hello"
A: "Hi Di, apne toh mujhe sagai par invite kardi par address nahi di, mein aab kaise aonga"
M: "Dude, address meine tumhari dresser ke uphar rakh diya hai, tum jaldi aa jao, Okay bye"
Armaan found the paper with the address and left the house.
Ma: "Khala, meine jis larki ki baath ki ti, RG, woh yahi hai"
M: "Kya, woh yaha kaise, aur kaha hai mein bhi to dekhu usse"
They both looked towards the stairs and saw Krishna and Ridz walking down together. Ridz was wearing a yellow lehenga covered with intriquete gold embroidery, her hair was loose and she had a matching jewellery to go with her outfit. She looked stunning thought Armaan's mum.
Everyone turned to look at Krishna coming down the stairs, they came down and Krishna went and sat next to Shiv (played Iqbal Khan). They started talking to each other and Ridz walked away to get herself a drink. All the guests were now focussing their attention on Krishna and Shiv.
Ridz was walking past the front door to get to the drinks bar when the door opened and a gush of wind came in causing Ridz's hair to fly into her face, she struggled to move it from her face, as some strand were stuck to her lip gloss.
Suddenly she felt a hand on her face slowly moving the hair from her face, Ridz's eyes closed with the touch, she felt a sweet shiver down her spine as the hand brushed past her lips.
Ridz opened her eyes to see Armaan looking into her eyes, Armaan was lost in her green eyes, she looked so beautiful struggling with her hair.
As soon as Armaan had walked in he had seen Ridz's face, the hair had automatically covered her face as though trying to hide her from him. He had stood there at the entrance for a few second's not believing she was really there, she looked like an angel, Armaan reached forward to move her hair half expecting her to disappear with his touch. When she didn't he was confused but then mesmerised when Ridz opened her eyes. Those green eyes were like an ocean and he was willing to drown in them just to be with her. He was arrested by her eyes, unable to move or think. They were in another time and place, oblivious to there surroundings.
"boyfriend..." Ridz and Armaan snapped out of their trance, Minnie ran towards Armaan and hugged him tightly, he looked down to see Minnie hugging his waist.
Armaan looked to see Ridz but she had disappered.
M: "Itni der kui kardi aane mein, chalo mein tumhe kisise milana chati hui" and led him away.
Ridz had rushed away to the rest rooms, "Uski shaadi ho chukhi hai, uski beti hai" she sobbed remembering these bitter facts.
Minnie had taken Armaan to meet her other favourite uncle, Shiv who was sitting Krishna, Masti and Sapna, the latter two were enjoying teasing the both of them.
Min: "Chachu, meet my boyfriend" she said introducing Armaan to Shiv.
Sh: "Minnie, itni umar mein tumhari boyfriend, great toh agle sagai tumhari" he chuckled turning to Armaan, "Hi, I'm Shiv, Minnie ki Chacha" holding out his hand
A: "Hi, I'm Armaan, iski boyfriend and mama"
They chatted some more and got to know each other when Ridz walked over to join them. She had not noticed Armaan standing there.
Mas: "Bhai, inse miliye, Sapna ki behen, the famous RG, from Mumbai FM, you know woh subha wali" she chuckled at the end, she very well knew that Armaan would wake up every morning listening to the show.
Armaan turned to see who she was talking about, when he was shocked at what he was... Ridz.
As soon as Armaan turned to look at Ridz she froze, she didn't know where to turn or look, h elooked confused and she didn't understand why. Krishna noticed something was wrong and walked forward and took Ridz closer to the group holding her hand, "Aur meri best friend, Riddhima"
Armaan was shocked, "Hi", "yeh RG hai...? Par yeh to meri saath... Dr... isiliye uski awaaz humesha... " Armaan was asking himself a million questions in his head, Riddhima was RG, why had he not figured this out before.
They were all standing together talking and laughing with Armaan stealing glances at her whenever he got a moment, "I'm in love" he thought looking at Ridz, she was his dream girl. He tried to catch her eyes but she was completely ignoring him, she wouldn't even look in his direction.
Ridz made an excuse of needing to talk to her mother and walked away, Maya was standing at a distance watching all this, "yeh larki Armaan kiliye perfect hai" she thought.
Ridz walked off to Krishna's room, she didn't want to be in the presence of Armaan, she couldn't trust herself or control her emotions around him. Ridz was standing at the window silently sobbing when she couldn't believe what she saw.
A car had just pulled up, the door opened and handsome man stepped out. A woman ran towards the man, it was no other than Maya. She hugged the man tightly as he lifted her from the ground and spun her around.
"Oh my god, she's cheating on Armaan" the thought exploded into Ridz mind as she witnessed this from the window. "#!?*$, how could she cheat on him, poor Armaan" there were more tears running down her eyes now, Maya was cheating on Armaan and he was unaware of it. She felt so bad for him, she had to tell him, he had to know the truth. She was rushing down the stairs when she nearly tripped at what she had just seen. Armaan was standing there with Maya and the man, he was hugging the man and then the man held Maya by her waist while Armaan stood there smiling and talking to both.
"What's wrong with him, Yeh kuch karta kui nahi, Armaan ki samne uska patni kisi anjaan adhmi ki saath hai aur woh hasraha hai" Ridz was shocked while thinking this to herself.

Part 10
A: "Jiju, aapko aaneh main itni der hagaye"
Ma: "Armaan tum jaanthe ho na Sujal ko, inki aadat hain har function mein der se aana" (Sujal is played by Eijaz Khan) "Abh woh inki khud ki shaadi ho yah phir chote bhai ki sagai par"
S: "Babes, tum bhi na, I said I'm sorry, woh shaadi ki din mein traffic mein pas gaya isliye ghar pochne mein dher hogaye"
Ma: "Don't 'Babes' me, Shiv ne mujhe batadiya ta ki tum apne 'stag do ki vajase late oote isliye dher hogayi"
S: "Iss Shiv ki mein toh band bajaonga" he muttered to himself
Ma: "Kya, tumne kuch kaha"
S: "Kaun mein? No babes, I think the voices in your head are talking to you again"
Maya hit him playfully on his sholder "Shut up, the only thing wrong with me is meine tumse shaadi ki"
Armaan who had been standing there laughing at this little episode between the two when he noticed from the corner of his eyes Ridz sitting at the top of the stairs almost in the shadows crying. She was lost in her thoughts crying silently.
A: "isse kya hogaya, yeh aise roh kyun rahi hai" he thought to himself, she looked so fragile and lonely crying there like that, "mujhe uski paas jana chahiye" he thought and with that excused himself from Maya and Sujal. He was just approaching the stairs when Minnie ran upto him saying the ring ceremony is beginning and she wanted him to carry her so she could see whats happening. Armaan turned to look at Ridz and she had disappeared again.
Standing at the stairs Ridz stared on in amazment and anger, "Armaan ko kya hogaya hai" she thought "Maya dikne mein kitni achi lagti ti par kaisi nikli aur Armaan, bechara woh uska pati hone ki bawajood usse pati hone ki koi darja nahi dejara... Kui bagwan, kui, aapne meri saath aise kui ki meine zindagi mein pehli bhar kisi ko itna pyar kiya aur woh mera nahi ho sakhta... Woh iss shaadi se kush bhi nahi hai pirbhi woh Minnie ki vaja se... I'm sure Minnie ki vaja se woh abitakh chup hai".
Thinking all this made Ridz so angry that she felt like yelling and crying at the same time, she couldn't understand why this was happening to her, she had never hurt anyone knowingly and always tried to keep others happy then why was god out to make her life miserable. Ridz was overcome with emotion and needed to get away from there as far as possible so she could breath, she felt suffocated being in the same room as Armaan and not being close to him. She wiped her face so as not to attract attention and went out into the garden unnoticed.
K: "Sapna, yeh Ridzy nazar nahi arehi, please ja kar usse bulao"
S: "Abhi ja kar laati hu Krishna Di" with that Sapna and Masti left to look for Ridz in the house.
Krishna's Dad approached Krishna as she said this to Sapna, "Kya hua Krishna beta, Riddhima kaha hai"
K: "Pata nahi Dad, par mein uski bina sagai nahi karungi"
Armaan was standing not to far listening to all of this not sure if he should say something about Ridz looking upset, and he couldn't go look for her otherwise what would people think. At this point Maya and Sujal approached Krishna and Raj,
Su: "Namaste uncle, kya baath hai Krishna tumhara iradha toh badhal nahi gaya, meri bhai se shaadi nahi karoge kya"
K: "Bhaiya aab bhi na" she said looking down blushing
M: "Hai me maar jawa, meri choti boh rani sharma gayi"
R: "Arre Raj beta tum agaye, dekho na kaisi zid laga beti hai, kehti uski seheli ki bina woh sagai nahi karegi. Ab tumhi isse samjao"
Su: "Is mein problem kya hai, Armaan..." He beckoned for Armaan to come over, "tum please jaa kar iski seheli ko dundh lao, warna mera bhai hamesha kuara reh jayega"
A: "Ji jiju" and turned towards Krishna "Aap ki seheli ki naam kya hai", he knew very well who he was going to look for but didn't want questions being raised
K: "Riddhima"
Sujal raised an eyebrow at this. Armaan left to go look for Ridz, as Sapna and Masti had gone to look for Ridz in the house, he decided to look outside in the garden.
As Armaan left Sujal took Raj aside
Su: "Riddhima... yeh naam kuch suni hui laghta hai uncle"
R: "Yaad hai, pichle hafte jab tum mujhe milne ayete meine tume aek larkhi ki tasweer dekhaya Armaan ki liye"
Su: "Haan, kuch kuch yaad hai..."
R: "Woh Riddhima ki tasweer ti"
Su: "Oh, sorry uncle, Shiv ki shaadi ki tayari mein woh mein itni busy hogaya ta ki mein uss bhaath ko bulgaya"
R: "It's okay beta, waise meine Armaan ki tasweer Padma bhabi, I mean, Riddhima ki maa ko bhi diya ta, par Riddhima ne dekhne se saaf inkhar kar di, so I guess is bhaath ko aghe barane se koi faida nahi"
Meanwhile in the garden
Ridz was sitting on a bench at the far end of the garden secluded from the rest of the house. She was sitting there with her eyes closed listening to the nearby fountain, the mist gently travelled with the air to her face as she sat there with silent tear drops occasionally falling down her cheeks.
The fairy lights decorating the entire house were reflecting from the water on the fountain onto her outfit and faces, making her look like a mirage.
Ridz was so lost in the soothing sound of the water that she didn't notice someone sit next to her.
Armaan was looking for Ridz in the garden when he noticed something shimmering at the far end of the garden. As he went closer he noticed Ridz sitting there with her eyes closed looking like a dream. The sight of her sitting there so peacefully took away his breath, he felt like he was dreaming, "Yeh sapna hi hai, warna itni khoobsurat koi ho hi nahi sakti" he thought to himself. He went closer praying that this dream never ends. He sat down next to her not daring to touch her otherwise this moment would be gone.
The thought of Armaan standing there with Maya and the other man appeared in Ridz's mind and she closed her eyes tighter trying to push the thought away, the pain filled her eyes and with the squeeze of the eyes fresh hot tears came running down her cheeks.
Armaan caught the teardrops and cried in his heart from the pain that he could see clealy on Ridz face; he couldn't help himself and slowly raised his hand to wipe the tears away.
As soon as Ridz felt someone wipe her tears she opened her eyes to see Armaan's face looking really upset and worried.
R: "Armaan" she whispered
Ridz couldn't believe her eyes, "Tum yaha kui ayeho" still in a whisper
A: "tum kui roh kui rahe ho" he asked in a worried tone completely ignoring her question
Ridz hurriedly wiped her tears "Woh.. mein... mujhe hay fever hai, mein roh nahi rahi ti"
A: "Jhooth... batao tum roh kui rahi ti" he asked again in silently more stern voice with his hand cupping the side of her face
Ridz moved her face so that he was no longer touching her, although she longed for his touch she knew that what she was feeling was wrong and she had to stop it. But why was he here?
R: "Mein bas aapni dost ki judai ki vaja se tori upset ti, aur kuch nahi" she looked down saying this, Armaan's intense gaze was making her feel slightly uncomfortable
R: "Tum... I mean aap yaha?"
A: "Tum, is fine. Woh mein actually tumhe andaar lene ayeta"
Ridz looked confused
A: "ahaha, woh actually Krishna kehrahi hai ki jab takh tum uski saath andhar nah ho, tab takh woh Shiv se sagai nahi karegi, aur poor Shiv toh yeh sun khar aab pareshan ho gaye hai. Saabh tumhe andhar doondh rahe hai"
R: "Oh, haha, sorry toh phir chale andhar"
A: "hmmm"
They both got up and started walking back in,
R: "Minnie bohot cute hai, hai na"
A: "Ha, bare pyari se baachi hai" and he sighs
R: "kya hua?"
A: "Nahi bas woh 1 hafte baadh jarihai isliye tori upset hu, mein usse miss karunga"
R: "Jahrahi hai matlab?" she turned to look at him "Kaha?"
A: "Apne ghar"
R: "Yaane woh tumhare saath nahi rehti?" Ridz was really confused now
A: "No, woh uski parents, Maya di aur jiju ki saath rehti hai"
R: "What, you mean, mera matlab woh tumhari nethi nahi hai"
Armaan froze, "Excuse me, kya kaha tumne"
R: "Er... Sorry, mujhe laga ki... woh... erm"
Armaan was now laughing like crazy
A: "Tumhe laga ki, hahahha... ki.... oh my god, mein dikhne mein itni old laghta hu kya? Woh meri neice hai"
Ridz felt really embarrassed now, she was turning red with embarrassment while Armaan just stood there holding his sides trying to control his laughter.
Noticing Ridz blushing so much Armaan calmed down, "Andhar chale aab, mujhe apni beth se milna hai" he said with a grin on his face.
