Part 24:

She stretched her arms wide welcoming the rain and the water droplets touching her skin made her feel the complete bliss. The drops shone like pearls on her fair skin and soon she was completely drenched from head to toe.  She looked even more beautiful, dancing in the rain with a carefree happiness and her eyes twinkling with delight like stars shining in the dark night. Her face had the radiance of a full moon laced with a childlike innocence. He looked at her and thanked god for blessing him with the most precious gift in his life. She completed him and showered his life with happiness. He would ensure that she would always remain this happy.

She saw him smiling himself, appearing to be lost in some thoughts and went near him and splashed the water in her palm on him playfully. Before he could catch her, she giggled and moved away from him twirling in the rain. He took hold of her hand and spun her and they waltzed on the terrace, dancing in the rain. They laughed moving together in a perfect rhythm and finally, she leaned her head on his chest feeling tired.

He looked at her with concern. "Naina! I think we should go inside now"

She nodded and they went inside , locking the door. They went near the cake and blew the candles at the same time and closed their eyes, both wishing to stay with each other, forever. "Happy one month anniversary" they wished in union and smiled at each other. They cut the cake together and raj fed the slice to naina and she stuffed his entire mouth with the cake "Naina, what.." he tried to protest, but she did not listen to him."Revenge is sweet, o sorry chocolate" she said laughing at him.

 

He   shook his head; she was definitely in a very playful mood today. But he liked this side of hers. They entered the bedroom and Raj closed her eyes before opening the door. She was once again amazed by the decoration of the room. There were scented candles all over, some of them floating in the water and the entire floor was covered with rose petals. The aroma in the room was so wonderful.It seemed like a dreamland. She turned to  him. He was stunned to see the tears in her eyes. "what happened naina?" he asked her worriedly.

 

"I love you much more than you imagine" she said looking at his eyes ,with such a sincere tone that melted his heart completely. He understood the reason for her tears." I know. Afterall, I am so lovable" he said trying to lighten the atmosphere. she smiled and hugged him. "I love you so much. you are my everything" ." I love you too" he said kissing her forehead , closing his eyes. Soon , they drowned in the depths of love, wandering in a magic land unexplored  and got lost in the ecstasy and bliss of love.

 

Naina woke in the morning and she did not find raj beside her. She looked at the note stuck at the corner of his pillow. There was a beautiful red rose on it. She read the note." I will be back within an hour. Miss me until then. Love you-Raj" she smiled and opened the balcony door and she was amazed at the sight infront of her. She could see the vast blue sea from where she stood ,it was very near to their cottage. The cool breeze fluttering her hair and the sight of the waves and the sunrise at the sea made her scream with delight. she did not see the place properly last night.

 

Raj entered the room. He saw her at the balcony and went near her wrapping his arms around her. "Good morning"  he said kissing her cheek. She turned to him."Raj! Where did you went?"

I vacated the hotel and brought our luggage. I booked this cottage yesterday. We are going to stay here. I know you love to stay near the sea."

 

"You know a lot about you me. Don't you?" she asked smiling at him. "I know everything about you" he said as a matter-of-fact."Don't be so sure. Men cannot understand women completely" she said to him in a challenging tone with a hint of mischief. "But I do know about you" he said confidently.

 "Fine. Let us see" she replied to him.
