Chapter 18

Huda jumped the wall and hid near the bushes.He slowly crawled to the backdoor with  some effort and hid behind the pillar.As soon as the guard arrived near the pillar, he made  a sudden attack causing the guard to fall unconscious.He opened the door quickly and   entered the room and tried to attack the person near him stopping at the last split second realising that he was captain Rajveer.

The same happened with Raj also.Finally, they managed to escape the house attacking some guards in the process.

Gehlot confessed all his crimes and Ali called  the police.

He was surrounded by the police and they untied him and dragged him along . Just then, Raj entered the place along with huda. His eyes searched for naina and as soon as hesaw her, he rushed towards her. Before she could realise, he hugged her tightly as if  protecting her from the world.

 

Naina could not believe her eyes. He was safe here with her. she broke into tears hugging  him back.

 

Gehlot was filled with rage seeing them .Suddenly, he

was mad with revenge. He snatched the gun from the

hands of inspector beside him and aimed at them.

 

Raj just saw him with gun and quickly pushed naina out of the way and ducked. But it was too late. The bullet hit in his chest and he felt a sharp piercing pain through him and he fell down to the ground unconscious.

 

The police shooted him before Gehlot could harm anyone else and he dropped dead.

Raj closed his eyes. There was only one face  infront of him radiating happiness and the  love shining in her eyes.This was heaven he thought to himself.

 

she was the only one whom he wanted to be with  till

eternity and sacrifice his life happily  just for the sake

of one smile on her face.

He could live for her and die for her. She became the

reason for his existence.He touched her face afraid that she would disappear as soon as he touched her.

 

"Did you remember your promise?"she asked him."yes!see I am back with you" he hugged her and closed his eyes.

 

Suddenly she screamed " Don't leave me Raj.come back to me"

 

"I am with you naina" he murmered and tried to open his eyes. But he was feeling drowsy and with a lot of effort , he opened his eyes slowly.

 

There she was staring at him anxiously with tear-stained face , relief evident on her face on seeing him and kissed his forehead. "I know you will come back to me no matter what.I can't live without you"

 

He took a look at the surroundings and realised he was in hospital surrounded with doctors and medical equipment.

 

As soon as they were informed that he regained

consciousness,pooja, Ali, Aalekh,Udi, huda,abhimanyu,

shalini rushed into the room.

In KMA, everyone watched the news about Gehlot

and his confession which was recorded in the room

when naina threatened him.Navin was proved innocent

and they decided to hung his photo on the place where it belonged-wall of fame.
