she stopped talking feeling conscious."why r u looking like that?"
"nothing.I am seeing you this happy for ur friend's married life. I am thinking that after our wedding, how you would feel?"
"Actually not that happy" she said putting a sad expression.
Raj was flustered."what do u mean? u r not happy to marry me?" he said worriedly.
Naina saw Raj's face."Bcoz i know it will be very difficult to bear u for lifetime" she broke into laughter.she ran away playfully.
It took a moment for him to register what she has said.
He quickly chased around her" Now i will not leave you"
They both ran around the hall across the sofa filling the room with laughter.
she ran into bedroom trying to bolt the door. But before she could he forced the door to open causing both of them to loose their balance & landing on the top of bed.
"now, what r u saying?" he said firmly holding her hand.she looked into his eyes"Raj, leave me"
"No. First u say sorry" "Raj, ur hurting me" she squealed with pain.
"Naina! I am so sorry. what happened ?"he asked anxiously leaving her.
"Now u said sorry" she ran away quickly laughing while he sat there shocked & smiled after a moment "Hmmm interesting.Now i must make the scores equal"
Next day onwards, they r having diwali holidays for three days.It was the time Raj asked her parents for naina's hand.Ali & pooja went to their parents house to celebrate Diwali with them.
Aalekh promised that he would come to naina's house on the day of the festival as he had to spend the next day in udi's house to talk about his & Neelu's relationship to her parents.
The friends parted saying goodbye to each other & went to their respective homes.
Naina was so excited & nervous at the same time.Excited bcoz the time has finally came to fulfill their dreams.Nervous bcoz in case things didn't work out, what should they do?
Raj & Naina boarded the bus at night.she leaned onto his shoulder."Raj,r u sure that everything will go fine?"
"ofcourse! i am sure they will agree. u don't worry"
he said kissing her forehead & pulling her more closer.
she forgot all of her worries in his embrace. she closed her eyes feeling his warmth and soon went to sleep.
In the morning, they reached their stop & got down."Naina , I think I should go to a hotel first.u go to ur home. I will come within an hour"
Naina was not happy for allowing him to stay in hotel but she thought what her parents might think.
she went to her house.As soon as her mother opened the door,she hugged her happily & then went to her father.
After refreshments, she told them about the relationship with Raj & that he wanted to meet them.
she feared that her parents might not agree after knowing that he killed navin but luckily they understood under what circumstances he had to do that.
They could not miss the happiness in Naina's eyes when she talked about Raj. They saw the pain in her eyes all the time he had been in jail. They knew that her happiness was only with him.
As soon as Raj arrived, they greeted him warmly. Raj was surprised. He thought that it would take more time for them to forgive him.
He took their blessings & they agreed for the marriage.
soon,pandit was called & the wedding date was fixed . It was in next month.
Naina's father became a little emotional."Beta,I know u both love each other a lot. But i want to tell u. After her brother's death, naina changed a lot. she forgot how to smile. she looked much better in KMA after she met u.when u went to jail, it tore us apart to see our daughter in such pain.she can't live without u. Please promise me that u will take care of her"
"ofcourse sir. I want to give her all the happiness in this world. she is my life & part of my soul" he said looking at naina with love-filled eyes as she was talking to her mother at some distance from them.
