To balance herself ,she placed her arms on Raj's shoulders.It was then Raj realised it was naina sitting beside him.He could recognize her even in the darkness bcoz of her touch."naina, when did u came here?"
"Actually raj, pooja wanted to spend some time with ali. so, we shifted the places. u were so lost in ur thoughts that u didn't notice anything. Anyways,about what r u thinking so much?"
"About u" he murmured under his breath."Me! just about the tour.It's a long time i went to these type of tours.I missed them."
"Do u have any idea about which place they r taking us?"
asked naina.
" i don't mind whatever place it might be, until u r there with me" he thought in his mind but said " may be they will plan a treck or cannoing".
They talked about some random things and naina didn't realise when she went into sleep.It was morning.
Pooja was the first to see them. she giggled and woke up her friends to show the scene she witnessed.
Everybody gave hi-five to each other and were happy that their plan was turning successful.
naina was sleeping on raj's chest peacefully and he had his arms around her protectively.Raj was the first to wake up & he saw naina sleeping peacefully on him.He slowly took back his arms around her and adjusted her properly so that her head was on his shoulder.Even though he wished to stay with her in the previous position he didn't want to create a scene infront of the other people in the bus.only, if they were alone ...
He sighed & looked at naina. she looked so peaceful, so serene and must say beautiful while sleeping. she had good sleep after so many days.The bus came to a halt and Raj slowly waked up naina.she got up rubbing her eyes. she was still sleepy. she forgot about the exchange of places and thought it was pooja and said "please pooja, 5 more minutes" and again leaned on raj's shoulder.
Raj was amused and he took the water bottle beside him & sprinkled a few drops on her face. This made naina to wake up & as she saw raj beside her, everything got registered on her mind "sorry raj. I was.." she was trying to find proper words. " It's okay naina . Now shall we get up before the tour is over?"
They got down from the bus and went to their friends . soon the announcement was made."welcome to all of u.This is a beautiful place to explore with waterfalls and fantastic sceneries. we will provide all of u with routemaps. This is more like a game. clues r given in the routemap itself .The batch that reaches first at the waterfall will be winner of this game.All of u will leave at 08.00hrs and report by evening .we divided u people into batches, each batch consisting of 4 people so that even if u lose the way, u can help each other.Enjoy urself.Have a nice day"
Actually udi &Aalekh managed to get the list before it was announced and changed the names such that Raj& naina were placed in the same batch along with pooja & Ali. In this way , they could help both pairs to get privacy as well as it would help pooja & Ali to execute the plan which they changed according to the latest schedule.
All of them grabbed some breakfast in the nearby Dhaba& started for their trip.Raj was happy so that he can spend some time with naina .naina on the otherhand was happy as well as nervous.The more time she spends with him, it is going to get more easy to lose her resolve.
As they were about to start, a jeep stopped infront of them & a lady who was looking hot got down & she walked towards them.Raj was looking at her startled.
"Hi Raj " she greeted him smiling."Nandini! tum yaha?" said Raj still unable to believe that he was seeing her after so many years. she was his batchmate during his academy days and they both were interested in each other at that time but later got seperated & now his heart was full of love only for naina.
" Thank god, u have atleast remembered. Actually I came to KMA on a special duty . I got the information that all of u were here. so, i thought of joining u. I came here & u people were already divided into batches. Do u mind if i join u people?"
"Of course not" said Raj slightly disappointed adding a smile to his face.He introduced her to naina , pooja & Ali.while introducing naina, the spark in his eyes was noticed by nandini.They started and nandini was talking continously to Raj. As Nandini was walking with Raj , Naina was walking behind them followed by pooja & Ali.
"Actually Raj, u did not change upto now. u r more handsome now" Naina frowned at this comment.
" In the academy days , u didn't spoke to any girl except me . I had to ask u for our 1st date" she said as they were walking.
All the remaining 3 heard this & pooja said to Ali "yeh cross connection kaise aagayi? it seems like they had a past.we planned to leave Raj& Naina alone in some secluded place for some time. she is spoiling their valuable talktime. our plan backfired."
"Don't worry pooja .we will think of some other way" assured Ali.
As they were walking, nandini tripped over a stone and fell on Raj. To prevent from falling , Raj placed his arms around her impulsively. " r u alright?"
"of course, i know u will be there to support me " she said a bit flirtingly & it added much more to Naina's annoyance.
Raj realised that he left naina behind & waited for her & gave her his hand. Naina with an annoying look on her face didn't took his hand but walked with pooja.
Raj had no idea why was she annoyed.The rest of the trip nandini was talking with Raj very happily about something & Raj was also laughing with her. Naina's anger grew with each moment. Pooja & Ali watched the look on Naina's face & gave her sympathetic looks.
In the afternoon, they stopped for lunch and opened their lunchpacks sitting in tree shades and meanwhile Aalekh, udi & huda joined them.
Naina was so lost in her own thoughts about the scenes she witnessed - their laughing, the way Raj hold her etc.
When she came from her thoughts , she saw Raj & Nandini were nowhere to be seen. She went to wash her hands & the scene she saw made her froze.
