part 3:
It was morning .after many days, he had a sound sleep.

As he opened his eyes, he saw naina infront of him

smiling. "good morning Raj". "naina ! how r u here?how

did u came into my room? suddenly she disappeared. He

rubbed his eyes and understood that it was an illusion.

she was so close yet so far from him. would he ever be

able to reach her? would he be lucky enough to win her

love?he could wait for her. no matter how much time it

took.
    
He freshened up and put on his uniform. it reminded

him that he was an major now. He rememberd the horrible

life spent in the prison, the humiliation, the hurt

everything. Now everything he was now was possible bcoz

of her.His life would be perfect only if she wasin it.

would he ever be able to live without thinking of her

for a moment?
       shaking his head, he went to BC'S office &

greeted him."i am sorry for the humiliation u have faced all these years.but now we r very happy that u r back to KMA as a major. All the Best for u Major Rajveer"
" thank u very much sir" he replied politely and left

the office.
       In the lunch time,he went to canteen and his

favourite cadets were present there already.
"How u would i go to the ball without a date?"yudi

groaned.
"huda ko aisa koyi problem nahin hai. lot of girls r

waiting for me. what about u ali? whom u r going with?
"chief! why r u asking? obviously he will go with

pooja& aalekh will go with neelu. think about me. do

something."
"Then go with dr.shalini. we all know what is there

b/w both of u"replied aalekh.udi was about to protest,

as soon they saw raj, they stopped arguments& came to

him. "By the way, who is ur date sir?"
Rajveer had no idea what they r talking about. "date?"
pooja came forward " aapka signal main clear karta

hoon.Tommorow we r celebrating freshers ball for 1st

year cadets. so, we r asking who is ur date?"

   Just then naina entered. The others left the table

giving some privacy to both of them. By now all of them

understood what is going on b/w raj& naina.
       "Mmm naina . would u be my date for freshers

ball?" naina hesitated for a moment. if she was close to him, she couldn't control her heart.Her brain was

thinking to make up an excuse but before she could thing about anything,the words came out from her mouth" of course sir"
    
later in the night, she selected dress after dress

keeping them aside. she was worried, excited, nervous at the same time. pooja who was watching her absolutely

crazy behaviour finally spoke."don't worry. i did

shopping for u also. this is for u and handed her a

packet.

naina opened the packet and exclaimed with happiness. "

u r selection is damn good. u r the best " &hugged her

friend.


pooja grinned & said " tommorow, when u wear this ,our

sharukh will go to silent mode by seeing u.i am very

happy for both of u naina.naina didn't bother to correct her. she was so excited for tommorow.


At the freshers ball, the first pair to arrive was ali&

pooja. then came Aalekh & neelu. Yudi came with Dr.

shalini & Huda came with a final year girl.

Rajveer was waiting impatiently infront of naina's

room since half-an -hour, but there was no sign of her.

God knows how much time she will take.He was about to

knock the door when it opened suddenly.
His heart stopped beating for a moment. He was

sppechless and just stared at her without blinking his

eyes. There she stood most beautiful than ever in an

peach coloured saree with silver embroidery done on it

with matching bangles. Her hair was in soft waves upto

her waist. Her dazzling earrings were kissing her neck.

she smiled at him remembering pooja's words. she snapped her fingers infront of him & said" chale"

       He came out from the trance & followed her. They

were the last couple to enter thehall. As soon as they

entered , they were greeted with loud cheers. They

looked perfect with each other. They r the most

beautiful couple ever seen.
       They descended the steps holding each others

hands. Raj wanted to hold her hand like this forever.
The party begun & everybody were dancing.He offered an hand to her which she accepted smiling.As they were

swaying to the music, her hand on his shoulder , his

arond her waist and their fingers entwined , they felt

as if they were secluded from the world , listening

to each other's heartbeats, silence speaking lots of

volumes. Suddenly they broke out from the trance with the announcement of BC.
