Kumud kisses her ring and said, "When God has given the heart, he has also given the feeling of love this is plenty which is meant for showering it only for one person."

Mirza: Wow awesome.

Kumud: I had got that person for whom I was selected to dance. He was none other than Nawab Saras.

Flashback continues.

Umrao was coming by the palanquin. Suddenly her ring falls down and she starts searching for it. The ladies asked, "What happened?"

Umrao: My ring fell down.

The ladies asked: Where?

Umrao: I don't know.

Saras picks up the ring and asked, "Are you searching for this ring?"

Umrao: Yes.

He hands over the ring to her.

Umrao: Thanks.

They enter the hall. Umrao begins to sing and dance. The song is

Khanum: What a performance at the first presentation! Keep it up.

Molvi calls Umrao & asked: How was your first presentation.

Umrao: Everything went fine with your prayers & blessings.

Khanum comes & said to Umrao, "Oh stand up, I need unload the evil sight if it has fallen on you. Great job. You have won the hearts of entire Lucknow. God protect you from the evil eyes & bless you."

Molvi: I knew that Umrao will steal the limelight. How many eyes would have fallen on her?

Hussaini comes & said, "Yes, that was a splendid performance. All the Nawabs want to spend time with her."

Khanum: And the one who is fortunate enough will get her. 

BH: We will give permission to the one who will pay us the highest amount.

BH to Umrao: From now on, Sheesh Mahal will be the place for you where you will refresh people with your dance. All the arrangements are being made for you.

Umrao: But I will be alone right?

BH: Absolutely!

After BH left, "Umrao said, "I am not going anywhere. I was brought up under your care from childhood & now you people are sending me far."

Molvi: You are not far away from us. We are close by. Now you need to grow up.

Umrao: Don't say that. I will remain as your Kumud forever. I will never leave you.

Khanum: Your childhood is far behind. You should learn to live with yourself. Now get ready. SheeshMahal is waiting for you. The whole world is waiting for you.

She gives her the mirror & said, "Take this with you. No need to admire yourself in secret."

Kumud spends some time with Kusum & Kumari.

Kusum: With what words should I praise you? Your last night's presentation was mind-blowing. For the first time in the first presentation, I saw so much of grace & melody.

Kumud: Don't put me so high that I will fall down.

Kusum: My God knows that you are more worth than what you are getting. I was never so happy in my life.

Kumud: I know, you have been unhappy all the while.

Kusum: It happens in love.

Kumud: But love always gives happiness.

Kusum: Right but separation & distance is life taking. God forbid that. It shouldn't happen to you.

Khanum comes in & blesses Umrao for the success.
