Chapter 3

Guniyal: Your daughter has become mature.

She gives the sweetbox to VC and washes Kumud's hand. She sees the missing ring and asked, "Where is the ring?"

Kumud gets speechless.

Guniyal (In a louder tone): Where is the ring?

Kumud: I lost it.

Guniyal slaps her. Kumud cries.

Guniyal: Why are you crying? Is this the first time I've slapped you?

Kumud: I am not crying because you slapped me. I am crying because I lost the ring because of my carelessness. Dad works hard day & night. 

Guniyal is moved. She said, "Never mind. Dad will get another ring for you."

Guniyal hugs her.

The family goes for the wedding. The background song is

They reach home after the wedding.

Kumud: Marriage is the most special and the happiest occasion. Then why they have cried at the time of sending their daughter?

VC and Kumud laughed. They said, "People cry because they will be missing their daughter."

Kumud: Will you all cry if I go to my in-law's place?

VC: Of course.

Guniyal: Your mom will go mad crying for you.

Kumud: If that is the case, I will not marry.

VC: You will get married.

Kumud: No dad, I won't marry. I will be with you.

They go inside the house. Yash and Kumud go to the bed.

Guniyal: Kumud has got a proposal. Veer's parents are asking us to fix the marriage date. What do these people think?

VC: Yes, we have to get Kumud married but expenditure will be more. From where will I get money. People get carried away looking at our big house but this house is the inherited one.

Guniyal: For that Kumud cannot be single. We have to find out some means to arrange for money and get her married.

Flashback pauses.

Umrao: Raisa.

She comes.

Umrao: The lamp is getting extinguished. Please add more oil to it.

Raisa takes the lamp to add the oil.
