Part Seven


nimmo was looking at him and then changes expression as if she did not say anything abt him and
nims: tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?
he does not answer her.
nims: hello??? mein tumse pooch rahi hoon. tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?
kunu: yeh mera ghar hai. aur mein jab chahoon yahaan aa sakta hoon. understand.
nims: ok!!! toh chalo jaanvi, hum yahaan se chalthe hain.
but kunal blocks her way
nims: dekho, dadaji ne hume neeche bulaya hai, isliye apne haat hatao.
but he did not take his hand.
jaan: please hume jaane deejiye, neeche hume bula rahen hain.
just then varsha comes there,
varsha: are kunal, tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho? aur tum donon, yeh gifts neeche lekar jao.
and she leaves.
nims: maine kahaa na
kunu: koi baat nahi, mein tumhe agli baar pakad loonga.
nims: dekhthein hain.
and they both leave.
they distribute all the gifts and nimmo talks with everyone in the family. dadaji and dadiji are very much impressed with her. and shraddha also likes her a lot. dadaji calls aman.
aman: daddiji, apne mujhe bulaya?
dada: haan aman, tumse ek baat poochni thi.
aman: haan, toh poochiye!
dada: tumne uss ladki se mili? woh blue saree ki ladki
aman: oh, woh toh nimmo hai
dada: haan mujhe patha hai
aman: toh?
dadi: toh aman, hum soch rahe the ki kyun na hum uss ladki ko humaare kunal ke liya dekhe?
aman: lekhin, humhe unse baat toh karna chahiye
dada: iska matlab, tumhe iss rishthe se koi problem nahi hai?
aman: come on mom, agar aapne apne pothe ke liye yeh socha hai, toh mein uska pitha hoon. mein bhi toh isi ke baare mein soch raha tha.
dadi: aur varsha?
aman: varsha? ussi ne iss baat ke baare mein mujhse pehle poochi thi. abh hume bas, kunal se aur nimmo ke ghar waalon se baat karna hai
dada: kunal se baal karne ki kya zaroorat hai. woh humaare baat zaroor maanega.
aman: haan. toh phir anandji se poochthe hain.
dadaji talks to anand abt nimmo and kunal' marriage. anand was extremely overwhelmed. he had no words to express how happy he was. but he had the thing in his mind tht they are all middleclass and how nimmo can come to their house as bahu and ...... but dadaji and dadiji convinced him that nimmo will live in their house like a princess and there will be no worry for her. and after much talk anand agrees and tells them to come to his house to see nimmo the next day.
dada: lekhin nimmo ghar mein hogi kya?
anand: haan, kal saturday hai na. usse office nahi hai.
dadi: office?? woh kaam kahaan karti hai?
anand: woh KS group of industries mein kaam karti hai.
dadi: lekhin woh toh abh humaare ghar ki bahu banne wali hai toh kyun na woh humaare company mein aa jaaye. kyun ji?
dada: haan anand, aur woh kunal ki PA ki post mein join kar sakti hai.
anand: maaf kijiye lekhin yeh baat aap khudh nimmo se baat karna hi teek hoga.
aman: aap uss baat ki chintha chodiye aur kal ke liye thayyariyaan kijiye.
anand: nimmo bahut hi kismat waali hai.
and the party continues and it was time for them to leave. nimmo meets dadaji...
nims: teek hai dadaji hum chalthe hain. aapse milkar bahut khushi hui.
dada:mujhe bhi tumse milkar bahut khushi hui. hamesha khush raho.
and they leave and when nimmo is near the door she stops.
nims: offo, phir se yeh saari, aey jaanvi, hmm woh toh chali.
she turns around to release her saree, but wat a shock.....it was kunal holding it and it was not stuck.
nims: tum?????? yeh tum kya kar rahe ho? chodo na. mujhe jaana hai. dekho, agar tum aise hi pakadthe rahoge toh mein chillaoongi.
varsha was watching this from a distance.
he pulls the pallu and nimmo moves forward and falls into his arms. he holds her by her waist. no one was around as all were in the main hall, only varsha was watching secretly from behind the curtain.
nims: yeh tum kya kar rahe ho? dekho, mein jaanti hoon ki tum mere saat naraaz ho aur mujhse badla lena chahthe ho. lekhin yeh bahut galat hai. chodo mujhe chodooo.
kunu: shhhh..... chilla kyun rahi ho?
nims: toh phir aur kya karoongi. dekho, mein shor machaoongi.
kunu: mein tumhe kuch nahi karoonga. tumse baat kehni thi...
nims: woh tum mujhe chodkar bhi keh sakthe ho.
kunu: nahi. agar tumhe mein chod doonga toh mera baat bekaar ho jaayega.
nims: kyun kar rahe ho mere saat yeh sab. hamesha mujhe hi kyun statathe ho? meine aise kya galti kar di hai.
kunu: shhhhhh......
he places his finger on his lips....
kunu: bahut bolthi ho. mujhe bolne ki mauka hi nahi dethi.
she stares at him and looks deep into his eyes( they were standing very close to each other) and suddenly jaanvi comes looking for nimmo and just stops wen she sees them and hides to watch all the fun...
kunu: mein bas itna kehna chahtha hoon ki tum bahut KHOOBSOORAT lag rahi ho. sach, aaj mein tumaare khoobsoorati mein fida ho gaya.
she was looking at him without even blinking.
kunu:hmmmmm     kaash tumaara dil bhi itna hi khoobsoorat hota.
she comes to senses when he said this and pushes him, but he was holding her so strongly tht she had to stop. he turned at him again and a smiling kunal stood there looking at her. she pulled the pallu and he left go and she walks out.
kunu: thinks- dekh loonga tumhe.
and he goes inside.
nimmo goes outside and sees jaanvi..................
nims: tum?? tum kab aayi?
jaan: mein abhi abhi tumhe bulaane ke liya aa rahi thi. kya kar rahi thi?
nims: woh...woh... actually meri saari phir se....
jaan: teek hai teek hai, chalthe hain.
and they leave. on the way in the scooter jaanvi talks with nimmo abt kunal
jaan: nimmo tumse ek baat poochoon?
nims: haan!!
jaan: tumhe woh kaisa laga?
nims: woh matlab?
jaan: woh mall wala.
nims: baththameez hai.
jaan: kya????
nims: mera matlab.... abh tum uske baare mein baat kyun kar rahi ho?
jaan: bas aise hi pooch rahi thi. mujhe lagtha hai ki woh tumhe bahut pasand kartha hai.
nimmo has a flashback of the scene when he holds her and complements tht she was beautiful
nims: kya? woh aur mujhe? never. aisa ho hi nahi saktha. tume aisa kyun laga.
jaan: kuch nahi, woh aaj sirf tumhe hi dekh raha tha woh bhi ghoor ghoor ke.
nims: stop it jaanvi . mein uske baare baat nahi karna chahthi. teek hai?
jaan: ok ok....
and they go home.
