Chapter 60

Armaan banges the door of the apartment he shared with Rahul open.

 

He found Rahul sitting on a his bed. Armaan walks straight upto him.

 

Armaan – Rahul, what did you do? Are you out of your freaking mind?

 

Rahul looks up at him.

 

Rahul – She cheated on me Armaan.

 

Armaan – And whats the proof for that Rahul?

Rahul – Trishala and some of our classmates told me!

Armaan – And you believe Trishala more than Muskaan do you?

Rahul – I SAW Rehan and Muskaan with my own eyes Armaan. I saw them!

Armaan – What if Muskaan was FORCED by Rehan to go with him to that club? What if it was a set up plan?

 

Rahul looks at him,confused.

 

Rahul – What do you mean?

Armaan – What if all this was a plan to get you have a fight with Muskaan.

 

Rahul – Ridiculous! Who would want me and Muskaan to have a fight?

Armaan – Trishala and Reahan

 

Rahul – WHAT?

 

Armaan – You heard me. Trishala and Reahn set this whole thing up.

 

Rahul – Ridiculous! Don't be stupid Armaan!

 

Armaan – Its true!

Rahul – Whats the proof?

Armaan takes out his cellphone.

 

Armana – Heres the proof.

 

Saying so Armaan plays the recorded coversation between Trishala and Rehan to him.

 

Rahul had his face in his hands by the end of it.

 

Rahul – Oh god! What did I do Armaan? What did I do?

 

Armaan – You ruined your life. That's what you did.

 

Rahul does not say anything.

 

Armaan – You should have used your brain Rahul. It wouldn't have led to all this then!

 

Rahul – I am such a jerk Armaan! I am such a jerk! I don't know what to do.

 

Armaan looks at him.

 

Armaan – Apologize! That's what you have to do!

Rahul – Yeah. I need to apologize.

 

Rahul takes out his mobile phone and dials Muskaan's number. Muskaan picks it up.

 

Muskaan – hello?

 

Rahul – Muskaan, I am sorry!

 

Muskaan(coldly) – What for?

Rahul – For all that I have did today Muskaan. It was the m,ost stupidest thing to do. I am sorry! Please forgive me.

 

Muskaan – Don't ask for forgiveness Rahul. I am never going to give it to you. And from the moment you dumped me, I had dumped you out of my life Rahul. I hate you !

 

And saying so Muskaan cuts the call.

 

Armaan – What happened?

Rahul – She is mad at me.

 

Armaan – That was expected. I guess you better apologize to her tomorrow in college.

 

Armaan jumped on his bed and fell asleep at once.

 

Rahul on the other hand stayed awake.

 

Rahul (to himself) – I am sorry Muskaan! Really sorry !
