Chapter 27

--Rahul's and Armaan's room –

 

Rahul was still awake. He couldn't stop thinking about the brief kiss he shared with Muskaan. It felt wonderful.

 

Armaan was fast asleep on the next bed. Armaan's snores filled up the room.

 

Rahul lay twisting and turning in his bed. NO matter how hard he tried to sleep, he just couldn't. He tried counting sheep in order to feel sleepy.

 

But that was unsuccessful. So he abandoned all his attempts to fall asleep and lay lost in Muskaan's thoughts the whole night.

 

--Muskaan's and Riddima's room—

 

Muskaan was facing the same too the other side, while Riddima was fast asleep with the blanket high up. Muskaan lay awake.

 

Twisting and turning in her bed. So she too abandoned all attempts and let herself drown in thoughts of Rahul.

 

Suddenly Muskaan's mobile rang she picked it up.

 

Muskaan – Hello?

 

A voice – Hey Muskaan.

 

The voice sent electrical signals through her. His sweet velvet voice made her heartbeat faster.

 

Muskaan – Rahul? What are you doing awake at this time?

 

Rahul – Its all your fault!

Muskaan was confused,

 

Muskaan – MY fault?

 

Rahul – Yeah, your fault. I cant stop thinking about you. The moment I close my eyes, I see you face, You are HAUNTING me Muskaan.

 

Muskaan laughed,

 

Rahul – I love it when you laugh. It's so sweet to my ears.

 

Muskaan blushes.

 

Rahul – And I love ot when you blush too?

Muskaan – how do you know that I am blushing? You cant see me!

 

Rahul – I just know it Muskaan. I can feel your emotions, you are a part of me now.

 

Muskaan laughed again.

 

Muskaan – What a corny line.

 

Suddenly—Muskaan scremed,

 

Rahul (worried)- What happened Muskaan?

 

No reply.

 

Rahul ( really worried now) – Muskaan?

No reply.

 

Rahul – MUSKAAN?
