Chapter 8

Rahul shrugs. And he scans the room for Muskaan. He couldn't find her anywhere. Even Rehan was missing. Rahul gets worried. He goes out of the hall. He searched everewhere and finally he finds her with Rehan. Rehan had a bottle of beer in his hands and was apparently forcing Muskaan to have a sip.

 

Muskaan – Get away from me! I don't drink!

 

Rehan – Just one sip! Just one!

 

Muskaan (pushing his hand away) – NO!!

 

Reahn – Just one sip ----

 

But before he could finish his sentence. Rahul had arrived and punched Rehan on his face.

 

Rahul – I warned you to stay away didn't I?

 

Rehan – What I do is none of YOUR business!

 

Rahul – It is! If it involves Muskaan.

Muskaan gives a confused look to Rahul what did he mean by that.

 

Rehan then pushed Rahul. Rahul got a scratch on his right arm due to a nearby lamppost.

 

But before Rahul could reply to the push. Armaan and the rest of them had pulled Rehan away.

 

Muskaan (turning to look at Rahul) – Are you okay?

 

Rahul – Yeah I guess.

 

Muskaan – You right arm is bleeding.

 

Rahul looked at it.

 

Rahul – It's nothing really-

 

Muskaan took out her handkerchief from her bag and tied it across the scratch.

 

Muskaan – That should do it. Are you really okay?

Rahul was moved by Muskaan's concern.

 

Rahul – Yeah.

 

Muskaan gave a small smile.

 

Muskaan – Thanks.

 

Rahul – What for?

Muskaan – For that thing you just did.

 

Rahul – No problem. Anything for you.

 

Muskaan felt awkward.

 

Muskaan – I have to go. Bye!
