Episode 48

The sun was shinning through the stable; angad woke up as the light hit his eyes. He looked to his side to find kripa sleeping next to him clinging on to his hand. Angad smiled remembering last night, it had been the most beautiful night of his life. He kissed kripa on the cheek and then got up from the bed releasing his hand from her.

He looked back at her she looked so beautiful so innocent with slight irritation on the face from the uncomfortable straw prickling her face. He turned around to go outside to enjoy what would probably be the best morning of his life, "I love u angad." Kripa mumbled with a slight smile on the corners of her lips, still asleep.

This made him look back in amazement, it was so weird hearing her say that. He had never thought they could ever share this kind of relationship. It was simple yet so amazing, just those three words could had given him a new meaning in life…

Kripa woke up just as angad left the stable, she was upset not seeing him next to her. She had to confirm that last night hadn't just been a dream of hers and that it was for real. They had been unsuccessful in giving their relationship, a name, a meaning, a support which would enable it stand. But just one night had been enough, to give them a new meaning something to live for.

She now truly felt like she was married, she was no longer just kripa she was now angad's kripa. She smiled thinking about the night before, the rain, the passion. The phone rang beside her bed she got up off the straws slipping angad's jacket over her shirt.  "Hello"

"hello kripa where are u!!" said anjali's worried voice

"Oh we got lost on the way we are at this farm place."

"Well u have to come back home right now."

The color drained out from her face,"right now why? she is ok isnt she"

"I don't know priya's doctor just called he said he was trying to call u he wanted to tell us something about priya. He didn't say anything else. He just said that we had to come, as soon as possible. Me and kavya are already on our way back. Try to get back as soon as possible ok bye hope to see u later." Kripa sat down on the bed letting the phone drop beside her. Her expression was blank for a while, then she broke into tears.

When angad came back from his short walk he found kripa standing by the window, she was dressed in a low neck black dress coming just below her knees. Angad went to her as quietly as possible he hugged her from behind resting his chin on her shoulders, with his hands around her waist, "aren't u looking beautiful." He said kissing her on the cheeks.

Kripa went stiff as angad hugged her, she released herself from him, quickly whipping the tear from her cheek and turned around to face him, "We need to go back angad."

"go… back but why what happened?"

"It's Priya." Kripa said looking at him closely

"Priya, oh ur sister priya, the one that's in the mental hospital." Kripa's heart shattered into a million pieces, so that meant he knew priya. She had never talked to him about her, he knew her from before and the way he had said mental hospital he didn't care. He really didn't care.

"Yes anjali just called she told me that we have to go to the hospital." Angad didn't ask anymore questions he could tell kripa was really upset something serious must have happened. He put his arm around trying to comfort her. But she pulled away removing his hand from her shoulder, "I ll wait for u in the car."

Angad watched looking shocked at what had happened was she really upset about her sister. Why could he read a different message in kripa's eyes, it was as if he didn't want him to be there. No he was probably thinking too much why he had just heard kripa say "I love u" to him that very morning. He followed her to the car.

Angad and Kripa drove in silence for almost half and hour, when it got too much for angad to handel he decided to break the ice, "its ok kripa I am sure ur sister is going to fine." He said holding her hand.

Kripa didn't say anything she simply moved her hand out of his grip.

"Its ok kripa don't worry I am with u, we'll get over this."

"Angad, please don't talk to me my head is already spinning with too many worries."

Angad felt as though he was just pierced with an arrow, he didn't understand how such a beautiful nigh could have ended up as horrible as this morning. How could she say that to him after last night, did he mean nothing to her, or worst of all did she regret last night. No he had to get to the bottom of this, he stopped the car with the screech, getting down. Kripa looked at him in surprise, "Why did u stop here?"

"We need to talk." Angad said his face determined. Kripa didn't look surprised she had seen this coming, she got down slowly not looking at him. She slowly looked up into his eyes, which were enough to express how hurt he was.
