Chapter 35

"Kripa how could u?" Pritvi's angry voice rings through the phone.

"I didn't do anything prithvi, i just wanted to leave the party early because i wasnt feeling so good, and then angad came out of no where and dragged me to that room."

"And u want me to believe that he only took u in there to, what was that "emabarase u in front of the whole school" Kripa no need for all this BS just tell me the truth. Everyone in the college already knows it."

"What the hell prithvi when i tell u the truth u dont believe me why dont u just go believe the other truth that everyone thinks. And u know what i dont give a crap about what everyone else thinks. And if anyone has the guts to tell me that i am lying to my face then i would deal with him."

"Kripa ok lets say i believe u, why were u found on top of angad then."

"PRITHVI ARE U STUPID!!! I told u it was all his plan to insult me in front of the whole school."

"Ok!! so now what."

"Thats why i called u, er... it might be shocking to hear this but er... um i am getting married to angad in 2 days." Kripa waits for a reaction, for him to scream but nothing comes, "Hello prithvi are u there, prithvi."

when prithvi speaks he is not shouting but his voice is cold, "U are getting married to angad... Now i know all the stuff u told me is total BS. If u liked angad from the very begining what was the point of all that pretend liking with me was it just because u could tell me this and break my heart once and for all thank u so much kripa, now can u please go to hell and let me live in peace."

"Prithvi... I..." Kripa is in tears she wants to tell him that she had been traped but she knew no one would believe her, "...I am sorry." She puts up the phone. She goes on her bed and falls asleep crying, Reapeating the same thing in her mind, "U lost me my best friend angad." and formulating a plan in her mind.

"Kripa wake up!!" Anjali says in an urgent whisper, "Kripa!!! holy crap i am going to be in so much trouble. Kripa!!"

"huh," Kripa stirs a bit, "let me sleep di."

"No kripa get up." Anjali practically drags her off the bed.

"Di!! Let me sleep" Kripa says angriliy

"Kripa ur getting engaged in an hour and ur sleeping like a pig over here. I think i ll call mom, but she will like totally freak out i know it. But i guess i have no choice. Mo....." Kripa puts her hand over her mouth.

"I am awake happy," Kripa looks at anjali she is completeley dressed makeup and all. "Wow ur like ready."

"Mhmmm and ur suppose to be ready to by now and ur still in ur pajamas. i thought u were getting ready in ur room but no u were sleeping like a hippo."

"Ok whatever now what should i wear for the engagement. Help me pick out some clothes from the closet di."

"Are u crazy this is Ur engagement and ur going to wear something out of the closet. Mom got both of us new clothes, and jewelry," she goes by the dressing table and gets the things laying there, "Here, Ok now get ready fast."

"Ok Di."

an hour later

Anjali knocks on the door, "Kripa are u ready yet, i am tierd of making excuses, we cant get engaged until u come downstairs."

"Yes di i am coming in just few minutes."

Kripa finally steps outside and see's downstairs everyone was already here and enjoying the party very much, "Ok might as well get this over with."

She steps down the stairs, trying to find angad, she spots him having a conversation with a pretty young lady, she is disgusted "even on the engagement day" The young lady leaves.

Angad is free to look around, as soon as he sees kripa his mouth drops, (She is dressed in black sharara with jewelry made of whilte gold) he just cant believe it, he goes closer to make sure he wasnt just seeing things.

Kripa doesn't notice angad staring at her, she was having trouble with her sharara it was a little to big for her and was concentrating on walking without triping on it, despite her efforts she trips when she was 2 or 3 stairs step to solid ground, but she doesnt fall someone grabs her.

She looks up to thank the person, "Thank....Angad!! Let go of me!!"

Angad does now annoyed, the least she could have done was thank him, Angad lets go of her and she falls on the ground angad grins and then turns around and leaves. Kripa manages to get up and fix herself up before too many people notice.

"Ok everyone can i please have ur attention." Delip says his voice booming in a mike, "as u guys know that two of my daughter are getting engaged in the khanna family."

Angad(black shirt gray tie and pure white coat suit), kripa, kavya(red shirt with black coat suit) and anjali(she is wearing a red sharara) come in the middle where delip was standing with the rest of their parents. "Anjali and kavya" They both step forward putting rings in each others fingers.

Seeing both of them looking at each other with so much love was enough to make angad and kripa jealous they both were thinking the wishing the same thing, 'love'.

"Kripa and angad" They both come forward, Angad puts the ring on kripa very painfully he had bought a smaller size on purpose. Its kripa's turn she tries to do the same thing but her mom had bought the ring and it was the perfect size which fit perfectly, angad flashes her a grin, which does nothing to cool her anger.

But she doesnt show it to him she grins back thinking of the plan she had formulated and waiting for the party to end so she could start on it. Angad is taken aback that she was smiling back at him, which gets him worried, and wishing that he could read minds.
