Chapter 19

Angad grabs her hand wrapping his hand around her and brings her closer to him till she is almost touching his chest and whispers in her ears, "Kripa will you go to the dance with me?"

Kripa looks at him and smiles, "how would u feel if u were in Prithvi's place and I said yes?" without waiting for an answer she continues with regret in her eyes, "I wished u had asked me before, but its too late now."

Kripa leaves him very surprised, he couldn't believe that people like Kripa existed in the world, but nevertheless he respected her decision. but it did not mean that he wouldn't try and get her again, In fact as Kripa left through the door he had already started thinking up a plan that would get him closer to Kripa.

Prithvi's room

Prithvi is sitting on his bed recalling what he saw in the dance room with silent tears flowing down his face. There was much pain in his eyes but that pain was nothing compared to the anger that he had. He wanted revenge not from Kripa for betraying him but from Angad, he wanted to hurt him. Hurt him so much that he would beg for death. And then he could be with Kripa, forever.

Yes amazing as it seemed he still loved her. He loved her so much that he refused to believe that she could love someone else. It must have been Angad he probably forced her he was the cause of everything, he needs to be eliminated, he though excitement and happiness filling him just thinking of committing a murder.

He might have been a sweet sensitive friend a few days ago but now he was a crazy lover willing to do anything to get her back. He was going to get his chance, he thought, he still had the date with Kripa, just going out with him once would make her see how much better he was.

Kripa goes home and is greeted at the door by no one other then her sister Anjali.

"Hello di how was the flight." she says smiling but a bit worried b/c Anjali seemed ready to explode.

"It was good, how have u been I see that u have learned how to lie."

"Di it was just that well… u wouldn't have come if it wasn't for the fact that..."

"…Mama's life was in danger, do u even know how worried I have been, I was crying my eyes out coming here. If I had known this was a lie of urs… "

Kripa's voice is rising "…then u wouldn't have come. Mama was the only one u ever cared about, u never cared about us." She lowers her voice slightly so that her mom and who are watching would not hear "even when priya had to be admitted to the menta…" She stops and swallows her words, tears trickling down her face"… to the hospital u didn't come u probably wouldn't come even if I died." Anjali slaps her, Kripa runs up the stairs and slams the door of the room behind her. Anjali comes up after a few minutes, Kripa is still crying.

"I am sorry Kripa, I didn't mean to…plzz don't say that again."

Kripa cries in her arms for a few minutes, and then asks anjali a question she was regretting, "U wont go back will u di?"

Anjali sighs, "No Kripa, I have run away from my past enough its time to face it now no matter how horrible it is." She leaves.

Kripa thinks to herself, "I promise u di, u wont regret ur decision. I should talk to Sahil he would be happy to know that di is here, I ll see if he is on."
