Chapter 27

Recap:

K- [Thinking] omg what am I gonna do alone in Angad's car? How am I gonna act?

Angad comes up behind her.

A- Um ready Kripa?

K- Um Ya

They head out the doors together.

Todayz Update:

As they walk to the car, they feel weird. Angad tries to talk to her but Kripa doesn't respond. They reach the car and Angad walks over to Kripa's side and opens the door for her.

K- O um thanks

A-no problem.

They stare at each other and laugh uncomfortably. Angad clears his throat and puts the keys in the ignition. They drive in silence until finally Angad breaks the silence.

A- Kripa?

K-ya?

A- what time do you have to be home?

K- I don't really have a time limit….y?

A- o I was wonderin if we could go on a drive.

K- um sure y not?

A-awesum!

He smiles at Kripa and drives towards a secluded park.

A- I always come here to think. It beautiful with the moon and the serene quiet.

K- that's nice…I wish I had a spot like that…

A- if u wanna u can share it wit me…

K- that's nice of u

They look at each other.

K- so lets walk?

A-ya lets go…

They head outside and start walking.

A-kripa I…i…..i wanted to say sumthin…

K- what?

A- we had a really weird past wit each other…

K- ya

A- I mean the first time I saw you, I wanted to say sumthin. I wanted to say that ur really pretty n I wanted to ask u out but I couldn't. I just couldn't.

K- y?

A- becuz u seemed so innocent…so untouched. It was like u were a glass statue…good to look at and appreciate but if I touched u, u would break.

K- really?

A- n then we had tat stupid fite. It really hurt me that u thought tat abt me but wen I thought abt it, I was glad that we didn't talk anymore…now I wouldn't have to hide my feelings infront of u.

K- realy?

A- ya….then wen we went of in our separate ways in 10^th grade, I would dneak glances at u wenever I could. I would take the long way to my classes just so I could see you with one of your admirers.

Kripa just looks at him.

A- n den wen we became friendz, I was the happiest person in the world. I did everything I could to spend time wit u.

He takes a breath.

A- n wen we danced, I don't know what happened to me….i just felt like kissing u. I felt like I was complete. I know tat may bull reject me but I also know tat without u ill be incomplete for as long as I live.

He falls down on his knees.

A- Ms. Kripa Sharma do you take me to be ur boyfriend?
