Chapter 19

Recap:

A- Well that's changed. Now were good friends.

K- (Surprised) we are?

A- Yes...we are.

Then Angad puts his arm around Kripa's waist.

A-Verrrrry good friends.

He then starts flirting with her. She just laughs and plays along.

A few minutes later the bell rings and they head to their homerooms.

 

Today Update:

 

A-K and J-Ja are in the same homeroom. They sit next to each other and they talk a lot. Most of the time only AK talk, while J+Ja flirt. Cuz of this AK get to know each other and grow to be great friends.

 

Two weeks pass by and soon T.G.I.F. comes up. Everyone goes in frenzy. Boys ask the girls out and the girls wait patiently and gossip about who's going out with who. But the buzz REALLY starts when the T.G.I.F. committee announces a competition- the Best Couple. The winners will receive $50 gift certificates to Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister (My 2 most favorite stores!).  Everyone starts wondering who it's going to be. Kripa knows that she has to win this if she wants to maintain her image in front of the school as the hottest girl. No way is she going to lets some ordinary girl get it and take her spot. But the question was who was she going to go with? All the hot boys in the school who were likely to win were either taken by other girls or dumped by Kripa before.

One night Kripa lay wondering who she should take to T.G.I.F. She took out her year book and started to go through it. She looked at all the boys and crossed out the nerds and geeks. Then she looked at the remaining boys. They were all athletic and hot. One by one she crossed them out too. Soon, only three guys remained. Dylan, Josh and Angad.

 

K- Hmmm….well I can't have Josh. He's Jackie's. And Dylan…..well Dylan's too much of a surfer dude for me- that guy cant even spell DOG for god sakes!. Angad. Angad could work. But the main question is…will he ask me?

 

She sighed and went to bed.

The next morning-

 

Kripa entered the school and saw that the school was really excited about something. She walked up to a group of girls and asked them what all the noise was about.

 

One Girl- OMG! U didn't hear about it?

K- No. If I did I wouldn't ask u would I?

 

The girl just gets embarrassed and looks down. Then another one speaks up.

 

Another Girl- Do you know who Angad Khanna is?

 

K- like duh!

 

Another Girl- well he told his friends that he's going to ask someone to T.G.I.F. today!

 

Then all the girls start talking again. Kripa listens in to their conversation.

 

Number 1- OMG! If he asked me I would leave my boyfriend in a second and go with him!

 

Number 2- I know! He's so hot and funny and caring and nice and sexy and gangsta and…..

 

She keeps on going on and on. Kripa just shakes her head and walks to Jackie.

 

K- Hey.

 

JA- Hey.

 

K- Did u hear those stupid girls?

 

Ja- Ya I did.

 

K- They are sooo retarded.

 

Ja- I don't really think so.

 

K- WHAT?!?!

Ja- chill. It doesn't mean that I like him. Im just saying that currently he's the hottest guy in our school.

 

K- really?

 

Ja- yup. If I wasn't with Josh I would totally be joining those girls.

 

K- wow Jackie!

 

Ja- what? U have to admit he is totally hot.

 

K- Well…Ya I guess.

 

Ja- why don't you ask him out?

 

K- WHAT?!?! Are u out of your mind?

 

Ja- No im serious. I mean you're the hottest girl in the school.

 

K- well…ya..so?

 

Ja- and he's the hottest guy…

 

K- I guess….

 

Ja- so u two would totally win the award.

 

K- true…..but why would he ask me out?

 

Ja- wait a sec….you have no problem with him asking you out?

 

K- not really.

 

Ja- so u like him?

 

K- NO!

 

Ja- c'mon Krips! Im your best friend! You can tell me!

 

Kripa doesn't respond,

Ja- Hey I told u about Josh and I asked your approval before I asked my Mom!

 

K- I know…

 

Ja- SO TELL ME!

 

K- ok ok….well…..I do like him.

 

Ja- I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!!!!

K- what?

 

Ja- u like him since the ninth grade right?

 

K- well….Ya.

 

Ja- O im SO fuki* good!!! Go me!

 

K- what?

 

Ja- um nothing. I g2g. TTYL.

 

K- okkkk. Bye.

 

Jackie hurries away.

 

K- whatever.

 

Kripa heads to class.

 

Now we go to Jackie. Jackie is talking to Josh and Angad.

 

Ja- Ok so I just talked to her right now and she said yes.

 

JO and A- WHAT!!

 

Ja- yup! She liked Angad since the 9^th grade!

 

A- YA! I knew it! Awesome!

 

Jo- yup. Now u can ask her!

 

A- tat I will . Tat I totally will. Lata.

 

JO and JA- KK. lata!

Hope you guyz liked it! I spent about an hour on it. I couldn't really get into the mood for writing so I had to wait a  few days. Sorry about that. As for the next part…..it will be up on Tuesday or Wednesday! Leave tons of comments, suggestions and complaints! They keep me going and make me write better!
