Chapter 8

Previously

 

Kripa whispered in his ear, Lakshya smiled and left the room, Kripa sat on the bed waiting for Angad to return

 

 

Kripa was sitting peacefully on Angad's bed when Lakshya busrts into the room

 

L - Kripa....we have a problem

K - what?

L - well....I was about to put our plan into action when Kavya bhaiya told me that Anjali bhabhi and Kashish bhabhi are coming here today

K - so?

L - so in order for your plan to work.....we will need them on our side aswell

K - why?

L - because.....they're very influential over Sujal bhaiya and Kavya bhaiya so if we can get both my bhabhis on our side then my brothers will follow

K - ok then, when are they coming?

L - soon

K - let me know when they do.....by the way have you seen Angad? I fell asleep before he came and he woke up before me so I haven't had a chance to speak to him

L - yea he's in the garden

K - thanks

 

Kripa left the room and went downstairs, she headed for the garden bumping into Dilip on the way

 

K - hey uncle, you're looking very happy, what's up?

D - didn't Angad tell you? His mom's birthday is coming up and I think I have the perfect gift for her

K - oh yeah he did.....well I'll have a look at it later and give my verdict

D - ok

 

Kripa smiled and headed to the garden where Angad was talking on the phone, Kripa waited for him to finish

 

A - what?

K - so...what happened with Mishty?

A - nothing.....

 

Angad sat on a chair and Kripa sat on a chair next to him

 

A - we spoke....

K - what did she say?

A - that she's sorry, she's made a mistake and she wants to get back together

K - but what about you?

A - I don't know....I'm confused Kripa....we were together for a long time and her cheating on me broke my heart.....I don't know if I should trust her again

K - you should follow your heart Angad....if it tells you not to trust her then tell her to get lost, if it tells you to trust her then.....I'll leave

A - huh what? you leave why?

K - Lakshya was saying....if you two got back together it would mean I would have to leave

A - he's an idiot, don't listen to him, and even if we do get back together, I'm not going to kick you out, we're friends aren't we?

K - yes

A - well then....of course mum might not be happy with you staying here but I'll be able to hook you up with a place to stay

K - ok

A - good, now stop worrying

 

Angad put his arm around Kripa and squeezed her shoulder, Kripa stared into Angad's eyes, Angad stared back for a while but realised what he was doing and stood up

 

A - ok ....I have to go...need to sort out the stuff for mum's party and erm...my bhabhis are coming round so....see you

 

Angad rushed off inside, Kripa smiled to herself when Lakshya came

 

K - I hate to see what Angad will do after finding out about my plan

L - I know, he'll probably kill us

K - but it must be done....I can't let that cheating dog take Angad away from me

 

Kripa bit her tongue

 

K - I erm mean Angad's room.....

L - yea...ok....what did he say?

K - it doesn't matter

L - ok anyways Anjali bhabhi and Kashish bhabhi are here

K - ok you go...I'm coming

 

Lakshya left and Kripa stood there thinking about what she just said, she shook her head and followed him inside. She walked into the living room where Sujal was hugging a girl

 

S - hey Kripa come here

K - let me guess....Kashish right?

S - yea this is Kashish......Kashish this is Kripa....Angad's girlfriend

 

Kashish smiled at Kripa and shook her hand

 

 

Kas - nice to meet you Kripa

K - yeah you too.....where's Anjali?

Kas - in the hallway with Kavya

K - cool I'll go meet her

 

Kripa smiled and stepped into the hallway, Kavya was laughing with his fianc, Kripa headed towards them

 

K - hey Kavya

Ka - Kripa...meet Anjali....Anjali meet Kripa

An - hi Kripa

K - hi Anjali

 

Anjali smiled and gave Kripa a small hug

 

 

Kripa waited until Kavya went inside before talking to Anjali

 

K - so did Kavya tell you I'm Angad's.....

An - girlfriend? yeah

K - yeah....anyways I need your help

An - with what?

K - well Angad's ex girlfriend Mishty is here and .....

An - you're scared she'll steal Angad from you?

 

Suddenly they heard Kashish

 

Kas - who's going to steal Angad from her?

An - his ex...Mishty

K - yeah.....so erm...I was wondering if you...if both of you would help me......get rid of her

An - of course! me and Kashish are soon to be daughter-in-laws of this house....and if you're going out with Angad then maybe you two might end up getting married so we sister-in-laws need to stick together, right sis?

Kas - yep definately

K - you two are sisters?

An - not real sisters, but we're like sisters

K - oh ok

Kas - and from now on so are you

 

Kripa smiled and Anjali and Kashish hugged her

 

K - I need one more little favour.....

Kas - name it

K - I already have Lakshya on my side.....I just need Sujal and Kavya

An - don't worry we'll talk to them

K - you will? Thanks a lot!

 

Kripa gave them both a hug and rushed upstairs to tell Lakshya, she went into his room

 

K - Lakshya they said.....

 

Kripa stopped as she saw Angad sitting in the room with him

 

A - who said what?

K - no....nothing

A - ok I'm off

K - where to?

A - Mishty called...apparently her hotel reservation got cancelled, so she needs a place to stay and mum said it was ok if she stayed here for a while

K - what! she's coming here?

L - err I think what Kripa means is...will it be wise? if you two get back together and mum sees you two kissing or something, she'll think you're cheating on Kripa

A - well....its only for a few days and I haven't decided if I'm getting back together with her.....and anyways this is none of your business Lakshya...now I'm going

 

Lakshya watched Angad leave and Kripa sat on the bed

 

L - so what were you saying?

K - your bhabhis said they will help

L - great

K - but that Mishty will be staying here now!

L - which is good

K - why?

L - what better place to attack her from than here?

K - hmm Lakshya you are a genius

 

Kripa kissed his cheek and ran out of the room, Lakshya shook his head and thought to himself

 

L (thinks) - Kripa you might not admit it but you so like my brother, and I'm sure you two will make a good couple so along side helping you get rid of Mishty, I will make sure I get you and my brother together
