Part; 48

By the time Angad reached Misthy' apartment it looked like a big mess. Misthy's boyfriend, John is yelling at her and shot her at legs but Misthy missed it. Police are trying to stop him and aimed at him to shoot him down. Misthy's neighbours helped her in bringing the police as she is terrified with his unexpected behavior. Both Misthy and John are yelling at each other.
Misthy ran to Angad and circled him sobbing with horror. Angad tried to console her and John is yelling at her "So he is the reason for you to ditch me, you ho**"
Angad felt offended and requested police to take him away. The police took him into custody and left after half an hour drama. Angad made Misthy to settle in the couch and made hot tea. Misthy explained about John sipping her tea and sobbing intermittently.
Both were in good terms until Misthy joined Kartik and earning good salary. John lost his job and totally depending on Misthy's earnings. Everything was going smooth as Misthy never minded taking care of him in all aspects. Kartik offered more money for Misthy for overseas project with one condition that she has to take care of it from India. Then the actual problem started as John refused and demanded her to reject the proposal. Misthy promised him to provide financial help though she stays in India.
" Mujhey laga tha ki he needs me in person as he cannot have another woman when he is having monetary benefit from me. He needed me in person only for money not for love. Wo shayad dar raha tha ki mein ussey paisa dena stop kardoongi if he goes to another woman. I was cheated." Misthy started sobbing and Angad consoled her by pressing her with one hand. She slowly fell asleep on Angad shoulder. Angad put her on bed and stayed till late night for giving her moral support.
Around 2 Misthy woke up and saw Angad sleeping on the couch. She woke him up "Angad! I'm fine now and could take care of myself. Ab John bhi police custody mein hai. So, you go home and take care of Kripa. I'm sorry I ruined your precious day."
Angad smiled and consoled her "It's okay Misthy. Friend in need is friend indeed. I know I missed the most precious moment but yeh hi mera farz tha. Kartik mama ney tumhari barrein mein mujhey batadiya tha. I didn't realize your problem is so severe and I wonder how he came till India chasing you. Now he will be sent back to pavilion and you don't have to worry. Yahan bhi women rights associations and law helps in such conditions. If you need any help don't hesitate to inform me. Take care."
Angad left as she refused to have anything to eat that time.
Angad reached home and saw Kripa sleeping without changing her function attire. In dark green silk sari and flowers on braid she looked like gorgeous. Her both hands filled with multi-colorful bangles, and mehendi till elbows. Sari on legs pulled up till calf and her mehendi feet are showing out. Sari on waist moved when she turned in sleep showing her bulge tummy and half of her chest. The strands are playing on her forehead with the air. Her eyes are holding tears behind them though she is in deep sleep. Angad felt bad for leaving her alone in the function. He apologised in his mind and changed into night dress silently. He slowly lay on bed beside her and stared at her.
Kripa broke her sleep and her tears flow out of her eyes as the gates of the dam are open. She wiped and turned to him and smiled. He turned to her and circled his left hand around her shoulder. He saw her tears and wiped them and kissed both eyes "Congratulations and sorry, Tattoo!! You looking gorgeous" he bent down and kissed her stomach.
She smiled and circled her hands around his neck and hid her face in his chest. He hugged her affectionately and kissed her ears.
"How is Misthy?" she asked kissing his throat.
"She is in bad condition. Her boy friend needs her money and he doesn't want to stay here with her and forcing her to come back to London" he explained briefly about the mess with Misthy.
Kripa felt sorry for her "khana laga doon? Did you eat?" she looked into his face.
"You stay, I will get" he got up and walked into kitchen.
He filled a plate with different dishes and brought water with a jug. Kripa sat up seeing him bringing the big plate "Yeh kya itni raat yeh sab khayega?" she saw grinned Angad's face "Sorry, you can have"
Angad smiled and kept the plate on bed and jug on the floor. He sat opposite to her and took a spoon to feed her. She surprised and looked into his eyes with tears.
He squeezed his right cheek with his left hand "Mujhey pata hai tum khali peth soyegi. Hum donon ek doosere ki pyar mein jee saktey hai but our son is starving." He caressed her stomach. Kripa smiled and wiped her tears and moved to his side to rest her face on his shoulder after kissing his cheeks "I love you, Angad."
He cuddled her by pressing with one hand to his chest "I love you too" he fed her and himself.
Dadi and Naina came out of their rooms hearing Angad and sighed with relief for him taking care of Kripa.
After burping, he put the plate down and walked to the wardrobe to get her night gown. He helped her to change into night gown and lay both on bed. He put her head on his shoulder and circled her and caressing her cheeks, strands, forehead "Kripa! Next few days I might have to spend time with Misthy and I may not be able to spend time with you as before. Can you take care of yourself? Walking karna, khana kaana yeh sab akeley karpaaogi? I will ask dad and mom to help you. Please!!"
Kripa didn't like it but couldn't say anything as she sympathises towards Misthy at present. She shook her head "I wish she comes over her problem soon and goes forward in her life soon. And you don't forget my delivery date."
Angad lifted her face up and kissed her eyes and cheeks "Ofcourse, Tattoo!! I don't forget. After all it will be the time for welcoming our dream."
Next two months went hazy for Kripa as Angad spent most of his time with Misthy in teaching her the managing skills for her project, helping her at home. He didn't help Kripa for walking, wishing either in the morning or night with sweet kisses, but spent middle of the nights taking her in his warm hugs which she felt precious and forgave him all the time.
Dilip took her for walking every evening and tried to entertain her but she immersed in her own tinking world hardly paying attention to him. Naina accompanied her for medical check-ups. Naina supported Angad taunting indirectly Kripa for not tying him to her pallu. She gets only time then for say something to Kripa as all other time Dilip supports Kripa. Since Kripa studied her well and never mind her thinking it's her concern on Angad for not tying to is family and spending time out of home. She knows the truth behind Angad's ignorance about her personal things. Aaliyah spent some evenings with Kripa as she knows about Angad's busy schedules. But nothing soothed Kripa though she tried to suppress her pain herself.
Dilip reminded Naina to warn Angad about Kripa's date of delivery. But she hardly got to see him for next few days as Angad spending his time in Misthy's projects along with his own till late nights.
Angad, Shabbir and Misthy spent late nights together when two of their projects came for production. While they are in such busy time Kripa started getting her labor pains around 10 in the morning. Naina, Dilip and Dadi rushed her to the hospital. Aaliyah helped them and called Angad but he is not reachable. She sent SMS about Kripa's delivery. Shabbir is also unreachable till night as he is also spending time among with other two.
Kripa delivered a baby boy after long labour pains in the midnight. Everyone is relieved and enjoyed the little chubby boy with 8.9lbs and fair complexion, big bunch of dark black hair. Dadi thanked Kripa for making her pardadi and praised that the baby got more mother's traits except eyes from father. Kripa smiled "Dadi! Baby toh abb tak ankhen kula bhi nahin, phir yeh kaisey kahengey ki wo Angad par gaya hai? Ho sakta hai aankhein bhi meri hai?"
Dadi squeezed Kripa's cheeks "ek baar bhi mujh sey sehmatnahin hoti ho, chalo maanleti hoon wo pura ki pura tumpar gaya hai."
Kripa smiled "Dadi! Dua dijiye ki who kissi par bhi jaayey par wo apna papa ka habits toh kabhi nahin apna le"
Dadi offended and kissed Kripa's forehead "wo bilkul tumhari pyar bhari parwarish mein pyarasa banjaayega"
"Angad aayi nahin abhi tak, did he know about my admission into the hospital?"Kripa asked Dadi when her in-laws are away from the room.
Dadi shook her head turning away her face. Kripa sighed and closed her eyes to hide tears behind them.
Next morning Gayatri and Suryaban reached the hospital and felt awkward about their son-in-law. Kripa defended "Uski ek project production pe hai. He needs to be there."
Damini, Prithvi and Kartik congratulated her. Prithvi and Kartik learnt about Angad when they tried to reach him to congratulate on his fatherhood.
Angad reached the hospital that evening and kissed Kripa's forehead "congrats Tattoo! How are you feeling now? Abb mein tumhari paas hi rahoonga. I handed everything to Shabbir and Misthy. Thanks for understanding me." He looked for his son who is sleeping in the cradle next to Kripa. He touched his cheeks, feet, palms with tearful eyes "Sorry beta! Mein nahin reh saka tumhari mama ke saat. Thanks for coming into our world."
He stayed with Kripa till she discharged from the hospital. He drove both his wife and son and helped in arranging bed for them.
Angad spent next week at home. He watched Kripa adorably while she feeding his son, changing nappies; helped Dadi in giving bath to the little baby.
After a week Angad started going to his work in normal way. Kripa got used to take care of her son with help of Naina and Dadi. After ten days Dilip fixed the date for naming ceremony. Gayatri and Suryaban stayed till then with Khannas.
They named their son "Prateek" and the function went well with friends and relatives. Misthy also attended and gave lot of gifts for Prateek. Angad spent most of the time with her till she left. Kripa thought first time about Misthy "she is sexy..no wonder Angad helps her..hope this is just friendly relationship."
