Angad is seriously thinking about Kripa enjoying his cigarette leaning on parapet wall of his balcony as his elbows supporting his weight. It was 12 midnight and he is not getting any sleep. He is admiring Kripa's beauty and melodious voice. He stared at the opposite balcony imagining Kripa there, "What fate is bringing us together? Wahan saamney wali ladki aaj mere jindagi mein. Mere saat rahegi. Har roz mujsey baat karegi. Shayad theen din ke baad yahin uski saat kuch baatey hongi.Kya baat karunga? We can talk about our first kiss"…..
He got a blush on his face. He took a puff and smiled by rubbing his heart…
"what is this strange heavy feeling? How would she feel when she sees her balcony? Yahin; Does she feel the same as I feel?. Would she remember the same way I remember everything happened between us? How does it feel in this new relationship? Do I able to love her? I'm sure I like her. I like to stay with her, talk to her, listen to her. Uski mushkarahat, kya cute mesmerizing smile hai uski!!!"
He let a heavy breath out. He saw Aaliyah waving her hand from down balcony "kya kar rahey ho? Neend nahin aarahi hai kya?" she whispered loudly.
Angad laughed and shook his head and gestured her asking to come up. In no time she stood beside him "Kya hua? Kripa ko miss kar rahey ho."
Angad gave sharp looks "Kripa ki alava do we share something??"
Aaliyah raised her eyebrows questioning him "batao itni raat gayi, you are still awake and watching her balcony, what else I could guess about you?"
"Your guess is good but I don't expect you also talk about her. Divert my mind. I'm getting crazy with her thoughts. She is driving me crazy, I swear!" He stroked his fingers into his hair and relaxed in the swing behind near to the wall. He stretched out his hand for Aaliyah and pulled to his side. "Aloo! Who kya karti hogi? She must be excited for this wedding, but I'm scared if I able to give the love she deserves as my wife."
Aaliyah put her hand on his shoulder "Angad! She is very nice girl and loves you like anything. Forget all other women and pamper her. Trust me, you will fall for her in no time."
Angad pressed her hand and smiled and lit another cigarette. Aaliyah tried to pull it out "You have to get rid of this habit now."
Angad turned his face away from her "I don't have to give away my habits for her."
Aaliyah laughed "dekhtey hai kya chodega, kya payega. You have to do a lot for marriage wife , husband, and bachein." She shrugs her shoulders.
"Hmmmm, Abb samajh mein aya, why you are postponing your wedding. Ladka taiyyar hai, ladki taiyyar hai but shadi mein deir ho rahi hai. And you dragged me into this." He snapped on her head.
Aaliyah caressed her head "chalo, sojaao kal sham mehendi pey jana hai. I need rest too."
Angad couldn't get sleep till early hours as tossed on bed remembering Kripa.
Naina and Aaliyah left early than others to participate in the pre mehendi rasam. Dadi is guarding Angad from going out by keeping him busy with many other works at home.
"Dadi! Aap bhi na yeh sab kaam karney ke liye main hi mila aapko?" Angad is helping in the kitchen in packing some gift packets for the guests from their side. He is helping with some other women packing haldi and kumkum in small packs and some camphor sticks, sweets and checking if everything is intact in each and every packet.
Dadi smiled at his nagging "Dulha banney ke baad bahar jaana mana hai. And I know if I neglect you a moment you just escape."
Angad stretched his body and rested his head in her lap "yeh baat hai toh pehley hi batana tha, I could have slept whole day. I haven't slept last night."
Dadi caressed his hair "Kyon, Kripa sata rahi hai kya?"
Angad didn't get irritated this time but smiled "haan, bahut.."he about to say something and stopped looking into dadi's opened mouth. He blushed "dadi! Aap bhi na, you make me confess all the time. I tell you, I'm marrying her only on your force" he pouted his lips and hugged her waist to hide his face in her stomach. Dadi caressed his back and head affectionately.
Angad took a nap in her lap thinking about Kripa again.
Evening around 5 everyone headed to Kripa's house for mehendi rasam. Khannas wanted to do their part of rasam in their house but Suryaban and dadi forced to perform at one place together so that Dadi can attend both sides.
Angad wore white silk sherwani and looking dashing and sexy.
By the time they reached Kripa's house, Gayatri, Naina, Netra are busy in doing haldi rasam before actual mehendi rasam.
Gayatri took aarati to Angad and others and put tilak and formally invited them inside. Angad is searching for Kirpa and Aaliyah whispered in his ears "Kripa has time to give presence in front of you." Angad gave annoying looks and turned face to see Shabbir approaching him. Aaliyah played some more pranks and everyone laughed.
"Ladka wala hokar humey sata rahi hai, jaao wahan dikhao tumhari talent" Angad pinched her ear. Aaliyah grinned and walked inside to bring Kripa.
Kripa wore cream cotton sari with red border and looking gorgeous with natural beauty. She met her eyes with Angad as Aaliyah whispered in her ears. Kripa blushed as Angad dropped his jaw on seeing her. Angad settled himself to hide his excitement.
All elder ladies brought haldi in a big silver bowl and put in front of her. Gayatri put tilak on her and took arati.. Everyone put haldi one by one on her hands, cheeks, forehead, legs upto knees. Angad remembered their library scene where Kripa showed her thigh and his heart skipped beats. Kripa is more glowing in natural fragrant haldi color as increasing her beauty. All guests gave blessings with flower petals and yellow rice spraying on her.
"Angad! Aao beta tum bhi aashirwaad do Kripa ko." Gayatri took him and put some flower petals and yellow in his hand. He walked close to Kripa and sprayed on her. Angad felt a strong feeling to squeeze her cheeks and caress her pink beautiful lips. Aaliyah and Kripa noticed passion in his eyes. Kripa lowered her eyes with shy and Aaliyah nudged him to bring into this world. Angad blushed and walked to Shabbir.
"Hosh udgaya kaya?" Shabbir pressed his shoulder and Angad took deep breath without commenting for his surprise. Shabbir winked at Aaliyah who is eagerly looking at him for Angad's response. Aaliyah congratulated Kripa as she blushed with goosebumps ran all over her body.
After a few minutes Kripa is taken inside to bring in an hour with grand yellow dress-up for mehendi rasam. Gayatri again put tilak and took arati and asked everyone to start putting mehendi. Naina put tilak to Angad and took arati too. The women started designing mehendi to him too but in smaller designs. All singers started singing traditional and filmy mehendi songs.
After two hours Kripa and Angad and all others cleaned their mehendi to show actual colors.
Kripa again changed her dress into emerald green with silver border banaras sari with matching emerald and pearl set with matching bangles. She is stealing all guests' eyes along with Angad's.
"Tell me if you want to have a little privacy time" Shabbir whispered in Angad's ears as Angad forgot to blink his eyes at Kripa. Angad "She is gorgeous" mumbled and blushed.
Kripa's friends forced Angad dragging him to the center "Aaj Angad gana gaa kar hi jaayega. Common, jiju jee! Have a nice song on our beloved Kripa today."
