Chapter 20

Kripa is feeling like the heaven came down to earth. She is excited to know Angad is also remembering her like she is doing for past 5years.
She asked Gayatri for calling her urgently and startled to know that Devyani is in the city. She told that Devyani asked if she could meet Kripa when she comes to visit Gayatri. "Agar wo aaney tak tum ghar mein nahin ho toh bura lagega na Kripa! Issi liye tujhey jaldi aaney ko kahan"
"Ab tak aana chahiye tha pata nahin kyon aayi nahin?" Gayatri is wondering about Devyani not turning yet..
"Kuch toh kaam padi hogi, aajayengi don't worry Gayatri" Suryaban consoled her.
Kripa took her coffee and walked into her room. "Teacher yahan aagayi hai, isi liye she couldn't pick up my phone last night. But what would be the reason for sudden visit? Did mamma call her?. Might be, Mamma is against my decision of working. But I don't want her to bring this proposal up now. I want to know about Angad's heart. I know he is interested, but….."Kripa sighed with chain of her thoughts.
Around 5 Devyani entered into Kripa's house.
"Maasi aayiye. Aapki hi intezaar kar rahey hai hum" Suryaban warmly invited her.
Kripa came and touched her feet before taking a seat beside her.
Gayatri also sat along with them after ordering her servant to bring coffee for Devyani.
Devyani asked Kripa about job and enquired Gayatri's health. Suryaban expressed his dissatisfaction of living in Mumbai "Maasi jee! Ab toh hum bhi yahan hai. Aap kyon aapki pota ka ristey ki baat chala leti?"
Kripa startled though she is expecting the topic sometime before Devyani leaves. She stared into Devyani's eyes and walked into her room. Devyani understood that Kripa is not willing to go for the proposal. Devyani reassured Suryaban to take care of the proposal as soon as possible and walked into Kripa's room. Just then she got call from Angad.
She is excited "A…" she paused when saw Devyani stepping into the room and again continued deciding in her mind something, "Angad! I'm thinking to call you only. I don't have your contact numbers. I need the directions. No…No..I can come alone. You don't have to worry. Give me the details."
Devyani waited with smile till Kripa finished the phone "Angad ka office mein kaam kar rahey ho?"
Kripa shook her head lowering her eyes. "Tumhara ya mera?"
"Teacher! No teasing, aapka Angad ka hi office hai" Kripa pouted her lips.
"So, what is he saying?" Devyani raised her eyebrows and settled on the bed crossing her legs.
"Mujhey jaana hai… dinner pe…Angad ke saat….you don't have to look at me like that..many old college mates are also coming. It's kinda alumni meeting" Kripa pouted as tying hands around her knees.
"Toh jaao, what are you waiting for?" Devyani looked over her spectacles.
Kripa laughed shaking her head side ways "Why did you come now? I would like to know about him more before you take the proposal forward."
"How did he react to see you? Aur tujhey wahi office kaisi mili?"
Kripa blushed "I dint know it's his office. Bua lekey gayi thi. Just yesterday I found, I mean I met him there as my boss. He remembers me"
Devyani shook her head up and down "phir deir kiss baat ki?"
"I want to know his heart" Kripa rolled her eyes. Devyani shook her head as she understood.
Kripa giggled and hid her face in Devyani's shoulders. Devyani caressed her back "I'm also eagerly waiting for this opportunity only. I can't wait till you know about Angad completely. Tell me how much time you need?"
Kripa raised her face to Devyani. Her face became red and thinking what to reply her. "Ek hafta, I have to go back too" Devyani said. Kripa agreed.
"Ab main chaloon?" Kripa asked permission looking at Devyani as if asking her to leave the room.
Kripa dressed up in ink blue silk long skirt with red sleeveless blouse with work on it along with two row tiny coral beads necklace with matching hangings. She tied hip length hair with black clip leaving curls at the bottom.
Devyani praised her beauty with her eyes as Kripa blushed for her approval.

At the club:
Kripa is searching for known faces and Angad. Angad approached as soon as Kripa entered the hall.
"Looking gorgeous" he bent and lightly kissed on side lacks. Kripa blessed and walked along with him inside placing her hand around his. He slowly dropped his hand around her waist and walked to a group where Kripa recognised Aaliyah as one of them.
Aaliyah introduced Shabbir, Raj, Harshini, Anittah, Manek. Kripa hugged Harshini as she was her close friend in the college. Everyone enquired about Kripa and she did about them.
"Now another pair is joining the "Rival Partners Group" soon" Aaliyah announced and everyone puzzled at her.
"Angad and Kripa!! Soon going to join our group. Kyon Angad! Am I right?"
Kripa quizzically looked at Aaliyah and she explained how Raj, Manek found Harshini and Anittah as their partners from rival group.
Angad and Kripa exchanged looks where Kripa blushed and lowered her eyes. Angad stroked his hair and gestured at Aaliyah to stop the teasing.

"Chalo, let's dance" Aaliyah dragged Shabbir and other pairs followed them. Angad held his hand out for Kripa and walked her into the dance era. Everyone is enjoying dance. The song finished and DJ announced that Angad dedicated a song to Kripa on their meet after long wait of 5 years.

Kripa is astonished at his feelings. "Long wait? Yeh kaisey? Phir aya kyon nahin mujh sey milney?" Kripa rolled her eyes.
"I never realized that I missed you so much until I met you yesterday."
Kripa's face became red and lowered her eyes. Angad touched her head with his "Did you ever miss me?"
Kripa stared into his eyes and gave a mischievous smile "You left something with me to remind you all the time"
Angad raised his eyebrows "What?"
Kripa rolled her tongue "guess!!!"
Angad scribbled his fingers on her waist base where the tattoo is "yeh hai?"
Kripa closed her eyes and pressed her fingers into his shoulders as his touch gave vibration to her body. Angad bent to kiss her lips and she turned her face other side and hugged him. Angad closed their embrace and pressed her to him hiding his face into her hair.
