Chapter 1

Here's my one-shot on one of my fav couples RAHUL MUSKAAN!!...had written this for a contest on IF ...here it is...please feel free to comment/criticize

That very day Rahul told Muskaan about his heart problem....He had a family history and he was prone...the doctors had advised him an immediate heart transplant....but they were unable to get a donor!!..

Muskaan was shattered.....it was a very big shock!!..

Rahul took Muskaan for dinner also..A very romantic dinner!!..And then a walk by the beach...they had decided to enjoy all the moments they had!!..

Rahul-Muskaan uss murder case ka kya hua?

Muskaan-No clues at all Rahul....humein shak toh hain...but we dont have proof....minister ka beta jo hain...we cant do anything!!..

A few days later..Muskaan callled rahul to pick her up immediately from her house in his car....

When Rahul picked up Muskaan from her house...there was somehting different...different about her behaviour

Rahul-Sab theekh?..Aise kyun bulaya?

Muskaan-Batati hoon..

In the car a while later...

Muskaan-Rahul mujhe bahut pyaas lag rahi hain...please thoda pani aogey kisi dukan se..

Rahul nodded..

He got out of the car and went..

When he got a bottle and turned around....His car wasnt there....

Rahul-Muskaan!!!!..

He dropped the botlle and hurriedly ran looking for her...

His phone rang..It was Their friend nikita..

Niki-Thank god tumne phone uthaya....tum please apni gaadii main kahain mat jao....muskaan ko threat calls miley hain....ki tumharey car main bomb hain....do u hear me?...apne car se durr raho...

He cut the call..

Rahul-Tumne aisa kyun kiya muskaan?????

He knew where she would have gone..he caught an auto and went!!

There was this empty place in the outskirts of their city ....it was an empty land with lots of tress and all.....a very scenic place.....it was muskaans fav..

He saw his crumpeled car...

Something died within him..

He ran towards his car....hoping against hope!!..

He saw her bleeding.

He saw her smiling at him..

He was in tears....he was supposed to die in her place..

The car was completely crumpeled....it was a major accident..

Rahul pulled muskaan out..

Muskaan-I love you!!

Rahul-Kyun kiya tumne aisa?...why?....muskaan ek baar kaha hota.

Muskaan only smiled..

she took a deep breath..

Muskaan-Bahut kuch kehna tha.........diary main ...ek letter..

She was struggling..

Muskaan-Likha..immediately padho

Rahul-Muskaan..

He was completely in tears..

Muskaan-I love you Rahul..

And she breathed her last in his lap..

He stopped...he realized she wasnt breathing any more....a lone tear rolled out of his eyes..

There was pin drop silence...he could hear the birds chirping the air blowing...but he couldnt hear his muskaan's voice..

Rahul- Muuuuuusssskaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!

His scream filled the air...he lay himself over her....crying for her.....how could she have done this to him!!..

When Rahul opened her diary and went through her pages...tears filled his eyes...he found the letter she was talking about..

Rahul,
Aggar tum yeh letter padh rahe hoon which means probabaly i am dead by now.....I got a threat call jana.....woh bhi tumhari life ko....you know i dont care for the ones i get for myself..but this one was for you and i couldnt take any chance...and so i just had to do it for you.....sorry about it..and sweety there is one last wish.....promise me you'l fulfil it...rahul....after my death i want my heart to beat in you.....i am sure humarey dill match hongey....kyunki tum aur main alag toh nahi hain...we are same ...we are one......aur humarey dil bhi same!!...Please do the needy....i'l be happy!!

Scene shifts to 12th April 2010...(NOT Rahul's diary)

Rahul -Today Me and Muskaan complete 5 years....5 years of togetherness....5 years of pure love!!...To the world Muskaan is dead...But to me My Muskaan lives forever within me....In my heart...Ooops her own heart which beats within me...I can see her even today....I can feel her even today....Just that i cant touch her.....As i stand here in the place she breathed her last..I am waiting for her to come...I am calling her...She has to come....coz practically her heart is here....

Rahul turns around and finds his muskaan smiling at him...

Muskaan-Love you too much!!

He smiles at her......
