Part 27

Three Years Later
Kripa is driving back home and has big smile on her face, she looked on the seat next to her and smiled at the trophy. It was the young achievers award, it was her 2nd award and she was very happy. She dreamt of it as a small girl and here she had here 2nd award.
Angad and kripa were not in contact with each other because she didn't want another divorce, they both were happy with the way things were going. Sahil apologized and was now friends with kripa. Married and had 2 kids.
Kripa worked very hard, she had involved herself in so much work that she had no time for anything else.
She reached home and saw her parents were waiting for her, she hugged them and when to her room after a few minutes.
She thought if Angad had watched her getting the award or not, like last year he wasn't at the function this year. It wasn't like they never met again after her divorce but they would meet for professional reasons like parties.

Angad smiled as he saw the bright smile on kripa's face as she received the award, he loved that smile, and he wished to meet her soon. He was called back on earth by his 1 year old daughter's crying. He picked her up and rocked her in his arms, he adored her very much, she was pretty and reminded him of kripa. Niharika came in the room and gave the milk bottle to Angad to feed Sur and then went inside the bathroom to change.

The next day
It was kripa's birthday and like every year, Angad was the first one to wish her, she opened her eyes and picked up him photo and on the other side he did the same , he wished her and she hugged him. Then they both kissed each other. She got out of her bed, she had a lot to do, there was a party at her place, and yes Angad was invited.

It was evening time, she came down the stairs and all the eyes turned towards her, she was wearing a champagne color gown and diamond earring. She looked gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. Angad couldn't take his eyes of her and nor could any once else.

Everybody came to her and wished but her eyes were searching for Angad, when no one was around her, he went up to her and tapped on her shoulder. They hugged and he wished her happy birthday.
"So where is my gift Angad" she asked like a kid.
He laughed and turned her then he took out a blue diamond necklace from his pocket and put it around her neck. It was a big diamond, 56 cerates. (The necklace in titanic).
She looked at it and was speechless. She just hugged him and he hugged her back.

I know it was a small part and it took me time to cont, but I promise to cont again on the next weekend as I have off on Friday also. I hope everyone likes it and loads of people comment! Just 2 or 3 parts are left.
