Kripa came late at night, around 11pm. "aagai tum???" asked Sahil, sitting on the bed.
"You are still awake" kripa asked back.
"ya, I couldn't sleep without you, you my wife" he walked up to her and turned her "my wife who doesn't have time for her one and only husband, so I thought why not take out time myself" his voice was angry, face calm. Kripa was getting scared.
"What is it Sahil, do you want to tell me something, I have all the time in the world for you, I am not trying to ignore you" she said, turning around and going towards her cupboard.
He laughed, "Yes I know, you are not trying to ignore me because to are ignoring me"
"Sahil, it's not that, it's just that I have a lot of pending work in the hospital". She said.
"Oh shut up! As if I don't know anything, all day you do nothing in the hospital, you have no emergencies, no important cases and even if there are any other doctors can handle them, since we have come back, we haven't even seen each others face" he was really angry. "You won't leave the house before 9 in the morning and I want back by 7pm"
She anger raised, she knew she was wrong, she was not able to give Sahil time, but he has got no right to tell her what she should do and what she should not do, she was not a kid she was his wife, she shouted "who the hell are you to tell me that, I wont and how do you know that there are no important cased, tell me???"
"Well I am your husband to tell you that" he didn't answer the second part "if you don't want to do as I say, then you can leave me whenever you want to"
"What, what did you say, you want me to leave you, what kind of love is that of yours for me? You want to leave me because I can't let my work suffer because of you, ok fine, I don't care about what you think, I will leave you as soon as I can, and I am serious". She moved him out of her way and when to sleep on the bed. She slept in the middle so Sahil wouldn't get place to sleep. He left the room angry.
Early morn kripa's phone started ringing "Dr. Kripa Sahil Chopra here"
"Dr. Kripa Sahil Chopra, Dr. Kripa Angad Khanna, doesn't the second name sound better to you"
Yes, it was Angad, "what is it Angad"
"Just wanted to hear you voice, it's been a week, by the way how come you are not in the hospital yet, its 8:30 my dear" he said
"What is it, I just didn't realize the time, actually kal raat…" she realized what she was about to say.
He couldn't resist asking "kyun ruk kyun gayi, main bhi janta hu Sahil tumse kitna pyaar karta hai, raat bhar sone nahi diya hoga usne"
Yesterday nights fight flashed before her eyes "haan bahot pyaar karta hai, aur sach kaha tume raat bahar sone nahi diya usne"
"Chalo bye"
"Bye"
She got the bed but still she couldn't sleep, she couldn't believe that the man who once loved her wanted to divorce her. It was hard to accept.
"Kripa get ready we have to go to the court". Said Sahil.
"Do I really have to go, why can't you go alone and bring the papers home". She said not wanting to get out of bed.
"Yes, you have to come"
"Divorce hai, shaadi nahi jo mere hona jarori hai" she said getting irritated.
"Tumhara bas chalta tu tum shaddi ke liye bhi na ati" he said in an angry voice.
"Oh please sahil" wanting to get rid of him as soon as possible. It was hard to deal with such men.
"Jab tak rishta tha, tab tak tu tum mere saath reh nahi saki, ab jab rishta tut raha hai tab tu chalo" he was angry.
"Kab tumhare saath nahi thi mein, kuch samaye ke liye hospital mein busy hogaye tu kya" she shouted. Calmed down a little and then continued "aur waase bhi ab jab rishta tut raha hai tu aadat bigarni nahi chahiye"
"The lawyer said you have to come with me" he said.
"Fine" she said getting out of the bed.
Long time right? Well I got time so I wrote a part. My exams will end on 8th march after that I have holidays. So, I will continue more. I hope you guys like it.
