After a few moments of everyone staring at Angad and Kripa in their kissing position, Kripa pushed Angad way and backed off of him herself. Out of all the faces watching, the the one that got to her most was Prithvi's angry face. For the first time, along with anger she saw pain in his eyes. She felt like she betrayed him and cheated him.......maybe because she did.
Prithvi gave Angad and Kripa a disgusted face and left. Kripa eventually pushed through people and trailed after Prithvi. She stopped him before he could get into the car.
K- Prithvi, Prithvi listen---
Prithvi turned around and faced Kripa.
P- Listen to what? To your stupid made up story that......that Angad kissed you and your Miss. Innocent, right?
K- No--
P- So you kissed him?
K- Listen Prithvi, just......I don't know what happened in there, I don't know how it happened or why, I'm just.......I'm really sorry
P- Don't pity me Kripa.......oh look, even better Angad is here too, now you two can make out all you freaking want!
Kripa turned around to see Angad. She wished she could just dissapear to her house, where it would be calm and away from everything.
A- Listen Prithvi, it wasn't Kripa's fault----
Prithvi rushed and held Angad by the collar.
P- Look Angad, you got her, stop rubbing it in, okay!
K- What?
Prithvi left Angad's collar now and faced Kripa again.
P- Kripa, your the last person in the world I want to talk to right now. I.......I know I could be a jerk at times, but....you know what kept our relationship going for two years? It was the trust that we had in each other, that we wouldn't ever betray the other........but I guess I was wrong. Today when the bottle landed on you, I didn't stop you from going in the closet because I trusted you, I trusted you that you wouldn't do anything that would bring harm in our relationship, but you broke my trust.
Kripa had tears in her eyes. Angad didn't know what to do, all he knew was he couldn't see tears in her eyes.
A- It's not Kripa's fault, it's mine, I kissed her.
P- I know, you did kiss her, but she kissed you back, didn't she? You know what they call woman like you Kripa, two faced *******------
Angad didn't know what overcame him, but he punched Prithvi. Prithvi got a nose bleed, what shocked Angad was he smiled.
P- God Angad, you know it as much as I do, she is a *****. If she could leave me for someone else, then one day she'll leave you too, remember that.
Prithvi got in his Corvette and slammed his door. He opened his window.
He drove off. Kripa fell to the floor crying, Angad tried to comfort her, but Kripa didn't let him near her. Alliya who watched everything from a distance had tears in her own eyes, she ran to Kripa and held her.
Al- Everything will be okay Kripa, don't worry
K- Alliya, it's over, I messed up
Kripa cried harder. Alliya drove Kripa home.
That night Angad felt awful, but on the other hand he got what he wanted. Kripa and Prithvi had to break up, it was planned. All he had to do now was get Kripa to date him. Kripa was a high school girl, she didn't know that this break-up wouldn't seem as big as it does now in five years or so. He had a lot of break-ups in high school, which he could care less of now.
Angad opened his blue journal and wrote about EVERYTHING that took place at the party, the chaos, the underage drinking, the kiss, the fight, and the betrayal. This helped the topic "high school relationships" and "booze" he even wrote some about "woman."
The next morning at school everyone was talking about Angad and Kripa's kiss and about Kripa and Prithvi's break-up.
Angad tried to find Kripa everywhere, but he didn't see her. Luckily, he found Alliya.
A- Hey, where's Kripa?
Al- Look Angad, I didn't know that all this would bring such a harsh effect on Kripa, she's devastated.........maybe you should leave her alone for sometime...........
Alliya walked away, leaving Angad a bit confused. Angad found out that Kripa didn't come to school that day, but he definitely encountered Prithvi at football practice after school.
Prithvi was angry and he knew exactly how to take his anger out. Every chance he got he tackled people down to the ground with all his energy. He even tackled Angad down twice. After practice Angad decided to talk to Prithvi.
A- hey Pritz
P- That's not my name, what do you want?
A- I know I won and everything, but why are you being such a sore loser about it?
P- look Angad, I liked Kripa, I really liked her.......just.....please leave me alone
A- Whatever, anyways if you take my advice then date around, if you haven't noticed there are plenty of cute chicks here, you know Tia, I think shes got the hots for you.
Angad smiled but Prithvi still wasn't interested in his talks. Prithvi left. Angad sighed, he tried to help him, right?
In the locker room Angad found Josh, who looked upset.
A- hey dude, whats up?
J- Nothing........
A- Come on, tell me, what happened? Girl trouble?
J- ...yeah...
A- What's her face, Ria, is it her?
J- yeah, she won't even talk to me
A- Well.....what was the reason for you break up?
J-.....personal reasons
A- like
J-......just personal stuff
A- okay, well just give her time or you could just date someone else
J- Angad, there's not always someone else, we can compromise with someone else, but we'll only love one person.....
Josh took his bag and walked away.
This forced Angad to think was Kripa the one for him? He knew he was only with Mishty temporarily. She was someone Angad couldn't see his future with, but Kripa.......he really liked her. But then again Prithvi "really liked" her too and Kripa liked Prithvi. So did Angad come in between them? Was he changing their destinies for his article?
Angad smiled and said "No way." He knew he was thinking too hard, maybe after high school none of them would ever even meet again. He needed to rest and calm down. He was letting all this get to him for no reason.
