Chapter 3

The next morning Angad got dressed in a red t-shirt and blue ripped jeans. He gelled his hair, then he looked in the mirror. "Damn he's hot" he thought to himself. He put a blue journal in his backpack, this wouldn't be any blue journal, it would be the journal he would record everything in. Angad looked through the fridge, it was empty. So then he sat in his car and was driving to school.

Angad was somewhat excited. Not only would he not have to go to work for a whole month, he would be getting paid for this. Nothing could get better than this. In high school he would just have to get a C Average, go to class, and make friends. Easy he thought.

Angad parked the car and approached the building. On the compass, there were all kinds of kids, rich poor, tall short, dark fair, and not to mention everyone was in a group. Angad wondered which group he would belong to. In his high school year he was obviously the rich, popular kid. But now he wasn't exactly rich anymore, but hey, he was a handsome hunk, he had to get credit for that along with his award winning personality.

A basketball came Angad's way, Angad caught it. A guy came towards Angad to get the ball.
Guy- Hey, nice catch
A- Thanks
Guy- Are you new here, I haven't seen you before.
A- Yeah, I just moved here from America a couple of days ago, Angad Khan----Angad Kapoor
Guy- Cool, my names Josh Sait, nice to meet you
A- Same here
Angad handed the ball back to Josh.
A- I should get going I have to find my class---
J- Hey, let me see your schedule
Angad showed him the schedule, Josh smiled.
J- Hey awesome, I have the same first hour, come on, we'll go together

As Angad and Josh walked to class, they both talked, actually Josh did most of the talking as Angad listened.
J- So now after Neha, I'm dating Ria.
A- Does everyone have a girlfriend here?
J- Well....everyone cool
Angad thought now he needed a girlfriend, true he had Mishty, but he needed a high school girlfriend. This would be fun he thought.

Josh stopped for a drink. Angad waited for him while playing on his cell, which he got back from Mr. Himesh's office. Wow, that was one hilarious meeting! Angad saw a couple of guys coming his way, passing a football around. One of the guys tripped on Angad's foot. Angad thought "Way to go!", but instead he decided to be nice.

A- Sorry, you okay---
The other guys laughed, but when the guy got up he sternly looked at everyone and they quickly shut up. Josh swallowed hard when he saw who it was that tripped.
Guy- Freaking Idiot, you think it's funny tripping people?
A- Hey, you tripped on my foot, plus I didn't do it on purpose, you should have watched we're you were going
Guy- Wow, we have a back talker here don't we, let me tell you who I am, Prithvi Bose, I'll let it go this time because your probably new, but next time........
A- Hold up, your Prithvi Bose?
Angad couldn't help but laugh.
P- Yeah, but what's so funny?
A- Oh....nothing, nothing, anyways I have to go, see ya

Angad started walking away leaving a confused and angry Prithvi behind. Josh caught up to Angad.
J- What was all that about?
A- huh, oh, it's just......nothing, hey is class this way?
J- Yeah, the first one on the right
A- ok

Angad stepped into the class. He went up to the teacher, Mrs. Shaila.
A- Hey, I'm your new student, Angad Kapoor
Miss. Shaila looked at Angad, she quickly became very fond of him, okay his looks.
MS- Welcome Angad, how are you?
A- Fine, where do you want me to sit?
MS- Anywhere you like, we have free seating
A- okay, thanks

As Angad walked to sit next to Josh, he saw four eyes looking at him angrily.
A- Crap!
Angad quickly turned around to avoid their gaze. He saw Kripa Sharma walking up to him. Angad quickly turned around, knowing Kripa was right behind him. Kripa turned around to face him, but he turned around again. She quickly turned around hoping to see him, but once again he turned around. Angad thought Kripa would turn around again, so he did too, but she tricked him. She was there, face to face with him.
K- It's you!
A- ......no it's not.
K- Oh my God, your so full of yourself! Your such a.......uhggg!
A- .....Do I know you?
K- Oh boy! No you don't know me and I don't know you, I like walking up to strangers and making a fool out of myself!
A- oh that explains it...
K- uhhggg!
Alliya came up to them. She laughed seeing Kripa so mad.

K- Alliya, this guy is crazy!
All- Kripa calm down
A- Okay fine, I admit it, it was me yesterday, I acted like a therapist and I'm not, sorry I apologize.
K- Well----
A- Well what?
K- Well it's not that easy Mr.!
A- Please, call me Angad
K- Uhggg!
A- Do you like making that noise or is it genetic or something?
K- See Alliya, he's so----
Al- So your new here Angad?
A- yeah, from America.
Al- That's cool.
A- Kripa I know I'm not a therapist or anything, but yesterday the advice a I gave you...I meant it.
K- Well! I won't be following your advice Mr. Angad Kapoor!
A- What do you mean?
Alliya- Yeah Kripa, what do you mean?
K- I mean I'm not breaking up with Prithvi
A- What!
K- Serves you right!
A- Whatever, you'll regret it later anyways
Angad walked away and sat next to Josh. Kripa went up to them.
K- I won't!
A- You will!
K- I won't!
A- You will!
K- Angad I said I won't, so I won't!
A- Fine you won't
K- I will---....wait----
A- haha, you even said you will!
K- uhgg I hate you!
Kripa turned around to leave, but she quickly turned back around in disbelief when she heard what Angad said.
A- I love you!
K- What did you just say?!!!!!
J- Yeah, cause I thought you just told Kripa you love her
A- See Kripa, your thirsty for love, that's why when any guy tells you he loves you, you make such a big deal out of it.
K- Go to hell!

J- Dude, do you know who that was?
A- Kripa Sharma
J- Yeah........
Angad watched a figure walk up to Kripa, it was no other then Prithvi. He put his arms around her waist and kissed her. Afterwards he sat next to her and they were both walking.

Kripa turned around to look at Angad, unfortunately Angad caught her. She quickly turned back around and looked straight ahead for the rest of the hour. Angad couldn't help but smile, she was so cute! But Alliya was right about her boyfriend Prithvi, he was a jerk alright. God knew what planet Prithvi thought he was on.

Miss Shaila- Okay class, we have a very handsome new student today, Angad Kapoor. If you get a chance to welcome him to our school and Angad if you ever need anything just come to me. Not only can I be your teacher, but friend too.

Angad sank in his seat, why did he feel so embarrassed right now? He saw Kripa turn around and smirk at him. At that moment Angad knew Kripa had to be a character in his story, come on, she was the "most popular girl" in school, after all.
