Chapter 9

( I am posting This chapter in my account because  today MANTRA completed 1 year . And Sneha is not able to post because of some reasons . So I did this job i hope you all will love this too and hope to see you soon Sneha , back in the IF  it's our stoies anniversary yaar you have to come back  Miss you dear.. ) this story is so close to my heart i want to complete this story , i don't like people who left their stories  incomplete and i will definitely not go in that list. Enough of my bak-bak read the story.  ) 

Mantra. ::-- chapter 9

Taani was holding a bag and someone says 

"Tum nahi jaanti, meri aankhe kitni taras rahe hai tumhe saj dhaj ke ek rajkumari ki tarah dekhne ke liye.. yeh lo tumhare liye mere taraf se., isme  tum jo dekhungi, voh mera sapna hai, humara sapna hai,  jo mein jald hi pura karunga... taiyar raho abse meri dulhan ban ne keliye sirf meri....

And she wakes up with a jark...it was a dream....  She hadn't seen the man's face in her dream but she had seen her face clearly and that was bothering her to much.... 

Taani:-( to herself) what is happening with me.. aisa kyo ho raha h . Rey is also upset with all this and wo locket... She goes to her bag and and open that then take the locket in her hand....

Aur ye kya h ? Kaise possible h.... .

Other hand in vihan's room

Kya tha wo ? ... Mai kyo hath nahi laga paya us bag ko .. mai to bus dekhana chahta tha ki wo locket me aisa kya h jo Taani adhi rat tak Rey se baaten kar rahi thi......

    Why I can't touch that bag..? Why ? 

Flash back

In last night

Unknown to them someone in dark is watching them. Or watching the actions of Sharon. His eyes shine as he saw her keeping the pendant chain in a box and keeping it in a bag.  Lightning thundered in the sky showing the face of the  it is vihan.

Vihan:- Once I get this box, then Taani will be mine because I will steal it and the name will be of Rey because only he knows about this locket..

He waited till Sharon and Taani sleep and then enters into the room and goes to the bag and try to get the locket but as he touch the bag he got a  jhataka jaise carrent ka jhataka ho but he again tried but again he felt like same. 

Flash back end

Vihan:- uss locket ko to mujhe lena hi hoga ....

In Shani's room

Sharon comes out from the washroom

Sharon:- ohh madam kaha khoi ho... Fresh up nahi hona kya aur ye kya wapas us locket ko lekar bhaith gai h . Ja ready ho aur bahar jakar pata kar . Aaj mehandi aur sangit h Sham ko ek baar Sham ho gai to bahar jane nahi milega.....

Taani:- ha ja hi rahi hu... Arey ye ka ataka h is bag ki zip mein.

Sharon goes to her..

Sharon:- ye to mera h wo kal haldi puja ke time pandit jee ne mujhe hath par banda tha ise puja me use karte h see it's too colorful and you know that I love colours.

( It was a abhimantrit dhaga jo puja aur kuchh mantro ke sath hath par banda jata h and vihan is a normal person but he had some devil's power jo wo khud bhi nahi janata.  That's why he can't touch that bag. )

Sharon tie the dhaga on her hand again and 

Taani is about to put the locket in the box but Sharon Snatches the locket and tie around her neck.

 but it fell down again she tried but again fall down

Sharon:- ye lag hi nahi raha h 

 Taani try to wear the chen but .... Again the chen falls down after 2-3 attempt she put the chen in box 

Taani:-isake huk mai problem h shayad rakh hi deti hu....

At the same time with the statue 🗿 suddenly Bahot bhayaanak aawaje aane lagi jaise koi chikh raha ho koi roo raha ho... and the sky was being more dark making everything black... but jab locket wapas box me rakha tab sab normal ho gaya. 

Sharon:- tere neck mai jyada safe rehata samjhi.  Ja ab.

Taani:- ary but box main bhi to safe hi hai na .

Sharon:- yaha jyada achha lag raha tha. Jane de ab nahi lag raha huk to kya kar sakte h .now go she pushed Taani in the washroom.

 And she moves to bath...

In Rey and swayam room.

Both were getting ready

Rey:- yaar swayam tu hi kuchh help kar de kuchh bhi samjh nahi aa raha h.... Kya karu ?

Swayam:- see Rey jo bhi karna h tumhe and Taani ko hi karna h as the matter is connected to you both I can only help.... And one more thing agar uss locket ke bare mein pata karna h tumhe to I suggest you should go with Taani because alag - alag jaaoge fir miss understanding hogi fir jhagada Hoga better h sath main karo jo bhi karna hai. 

Rey:- ok main aata hu 

And he left to Shani's room 

Sharon opens the door when he knocks

Rey:- Taani h ? Kuchh bat karani thi usase.

Sharon:- thanks tum aa gaye mujhe kuchh kam tha niche (downstairs) and Taani h . Tum room main wait karo ok.

Sharon:(to Taani) Taani Rey room main wait kar raha h. 

But our Taani she was busy with her thoughts and didn't hear anything

Sharon left the room and Rey was sitting on bed he finds a book which seems to be Taani's he started to turn pages and read some lines and

Rey:- now I can understand why Taani behaving like this . Is book ko padhne se achcha koi horror movie hi dekh lo kitani horror h ye book ki story.

He put the book back to the side table just then Taani comes out trying to tie the knot of her sharara suite's doori. 

Taani:- Sharon yaar please help me with this doori it's making me irritate.. 

She was looking like this (without dupatta)

Rey stand up seeing her . Taani see Rey in place of Sharon .... And turn around because she didn't have her dupatta but when she realised that her suite had a deep back she turns again to face her... 

Taani:- wo mujhe laga Sharon... Tum kab aaye ?

Rey feels her discomfort and pick her dupatta which was on bed and steps towards her 

Rey:- kuchh der pehale Sharon ne tumhe inform kiya tha I think you didn't  hear.

And he makes her wear the dupatta .

Rey:- kuchh bat karni thi..

Taani:- uummm Sharon kab aayegi mujhe help chahiye thi...? 

Rey:- if you didn't mind may I......?

Taani:-umm  . ..wo.... hummm ..

Rey:- mai bulata hu Sharon ko.

He started to go back Taani holds his hand..

At the same time back side of the fort that statue started bleeding... And some scary sounds started with Clouds began to thunder, and weather suddenly started getting worse.  

Scary sounds:- nahi dur raho usase dur raho tum meri ho sirf meri..... 

Taani:- tum kar sakte ho meri help.... please

Rey:- ok   

She turns around her back facing Rey he holds the doori and trying to tie the knot in this process his fingers touches her back several times and which makes Taani close her eyes and Rey to hold her breath. 

As he done with his job he moves close to  Taani as she had still closed her eyes

Rey moves very close to her ear  she can feel his breath on her ear  he  says softly 

  Rey:- Ho gaya 

As he said one the same time zor se bilali kadaki and Taani turns and in Rey's arm.

Hugging him tightly.

Nahi dur raho usase nahi .....ye nahi hona chahiye nahi........he cried out loud

Rey:- hyy don't worry mai hu yaha

Taani break the huge and 

Taani:- sorry wo achanak aawaz aai to mai dhar gai...

Rey:- koi na.... 

Taani:- tumhe kuchh bat karni thi na.

Rey:- yes mai soch raha tha us locate ko lekar bahar chalate h gaw mai shayad kuch pata chal jaye ....

Taani:- to...

Rey:- I mean sath chalate h jisase jo bhi ho dono ke samne saaf ho ..maine swayam se bol diya h he'll handle here.

Taani:- ok mai 10 minutes mai fort ke bahar milati hu .

On the same time when Taarey were in hug here in vihan's room

Vihan:- ye achanak mujhe body me jalan kaise hone lagi aisa lag raha h jaise kisi ne Aag Laga di ho.... He goes to the washroom and turn on the shower. 

But that can not help him.

In some time Taarey was in front of some houses in village

Rey:- yaha puchh kar dekhate h. Wo locket lai ho tum .?

Taani:- haa is bag me hai abhi nikalti hu ..but she can able to find in the bag ..

.....kaha chale gaya isi mai rakha tha maine.......

Rey:- thik se check karo ..

Taani ne pura bag khali kiya tab jakar mila ....

Rey:- ek kam karo apane gale me hi pehen lo na bar bar nikalogi dikhaogi..hath mese girane ka dar h tumhari neck mai rahega to misplace bhi nahi hoga.

Taani:- Sharon ne try kiya tha mujhe pehanane ka but wo bar bar gir raha tha .shayad isaka huk kharab h... 

Rey:- mai try karu....

Taani:-( she looks at him and noticed that Rey ki aankhon me ek hop h that is ki mai haa bol du) ok....

Rey took the chen and she turns around and Rey tie the chen in one time and on the time pas ke ek mandir mai ghantiyan  bajane lagi..... 

Rey:- lag to gaya ... Dekho... She turns towards him

Then he noticed that the locket in her neck.

A Unknown happy feeling took place in his heart seeing the locket in taani's neck.

Taani sees him that he is looking at her neck  intensely

Taani:- umm .. w..wo Sharon ne try kiya nahi huaa maine bhi kiya tha nahi huaa to mujhe laga ...

Rey :- shayad mere hi hatho se ise tum tak aana tha.  He looks at her intensely ..and said this in flow

Taani:- what ??

Rey:- umm nothing chalo ab 

Taani:- Rey tumhe lagata h ye kaam karega .I mean ye locket lagabhag 100 sal purana h . Yaha ke log kya pehachanege..

Rey:- you are right hame  kisi aise insan ko dhundna hoga jisaki age jyada ho....

Taani:- ok .. both are walking Taani was behind Rey she hold the pendent in her hand As taani touch locket in her neck and feel the locket near her heart she hold the pendent and she heard some words... 

** In girl's voice:-main ise kabhi bhi apane dil se dur nahi karungi kabhi bhi nahi...

 Boy's voice :- aur mai tumhe...**

 Taani:- ye kya dekha maine koin h ye mere sath kuchh clear kyo nhai dikhata mujhe....

Rey sees she is standing holding the chen 

Rey :- chalo na kaha kho gai ..

Then taani comes out of her thoughts

Taani:- haa aa rahi hu..

The status was bleeding very badly and the sky was dark making everything black and Scary. Kuchh aawaje aane lagi jaise koi tadhap raha ho...

With Taarey.

They searches but fund nobody....  

Then a man came to them

That man:- aap dono ki madat shayad wo sadhu baba kar paye ...

Rey:- koin aur kaha milenge wo hame ? 

Man:- yaha se thodhi duri par jangal ki taraf ek purana "Shiv Mandir" h  waha par hi wo rehate h wo bahot jane mane sadhu baba h kehate h unhone bahot sari pidhiya (generation) dekhi h. 

Taani:- dhanyawad kaka.

Both moves towards the temple..

While walking 

Rey:- tumhe nahi lagata is temple ka aur is locket ka kuchh connection hai humse kyunki jab bhi koi gadbad Hui hai we were near this temple ya fir is Mandir mein Aakar sab kuchh normal hi hua hai.

Taani:- main bhi yahi soch rahi thi tumhen pata hai jab main pahli bar is Mandir ke pass aai thi to mujhe Aisa Laga jisse ek couple vahan baithkar Puja kar rahe hain I can see them doing Puja the boy was sing a song and she was  praying.

Rey stopped walking hearing her 

Taani:- kya huaa nahi ho raha kya Vishwas.

Pata hai tumhari yahi problem hai isliye main kuchh bhi share karne se pahle 2 bar sochati Hun ki Tum uss per believe karoge ya nahin .

      You know sometimes I feel like a fool in front of you jo Apne hi dhun mein baat Karti rahti hai. Tum sunto lete ho but I don't think that you trust on that ,   meri baton per    ya UN chijon per Jo main batati Hun ya , Jo mere sath mein Hui hai . She looks at the other side  tumhe to Shayad meri uss baat per bhi Bharosa nahin jo maine uss din Mandir mein Kahi thi ki use disaster type place mai main jakar nahin fasi thi I was walking straightly suddenly....... sab kuchh bigad Gaya.

Rey hold her shoulders and turn her towards himself ...(still holding her shoulders)

Rey:- Aisa nahin hai I trust you and I wanted to trust you but situation aisi ho jati hi ki mujhe samajh nahin aata ki jo dikh raha hai uss per trust karu ya Jo Tum bol rahi ho uss per trust Karo ya Jo main feel kar raha hun uss per trust karo.

                              I know I know meri baten tumhen galat lag Rahi hogi but Jo Tum...  tumne abhi bola that you see a couple praying in the temple same happens with me when we were roaming around this forest first time but I ignore...

One old man:- tum dono ke in sawalo ke jawab mere pas h... 

Saint picture...

They see a man who had crossed his 100 years and looking like a saint. .

Taani:- aap to wahi ho na jinhone hame uss din roka tha... 

Saint:- haa wahi hu issi din meri bat sun lete to aaj itane pareshan na hote....

Rey Tani was confused. 

Saint:- chalo mere sath.

They reach the temple

Saint light the diya infront of the Shiva and sit down and ask Taarey to sit down.

Rey Hinted to Tani to get out of the locket from her neck she starts to untie the locket but suddenly

Saint:- bilkul nahi.... Usse wahi rehane do jab tak ye tumhare gale me h tab tak achha hai iss Chen le liye bhi aur tumhare liye bhi. 

Rey:- ham kuchh samjhe nahi.

Saint:- samjhane ke liye suru se janana hoga . Tumhara naam kya h ?

Rey:- Reyansh . 

Taani:- Taani

Saint:-(smiles) nahi ye to tumhare abhi ke naam h tumhare naam h 

    Amar aur vrinda.

Ye tum dono ka dusara janam h aur usaka bhi . Jo tumhe pana chahta h .

He said in last to indicate Taani.

Taani:- mujhe .... Dusara janam  ye..

Rey:- taani lagata h ye baba hame koi kahani suna rahe h chalo yaha se hamare pas aur bhi important kam h aur waise bhi Sham ho gai hai. Isase pehale ki Sab log hame dhundna suru kar de fort chalte Hain

Taani:-per....

Rey:- don't tell me ki tum inn Baba ki baton per Vishwas karti ho punarjanm vagaira kuchh nahin hota hai . inhen koi Mila nahin hai itne salon se isliye yehh aisi baten kar rahe hain. 

Saint is smiling looking at them...

Rey stands up and give his hand to Taani so that she hold his hand and stand up and as taani hold his hand and stand up she sees some flashes.....

In Flashes

Rey Mandir se bahar ja raha hai aur Mandir ke bahar Jo headless statue hai usmein se ek statue uske upar girta hai but somehow Rey bach jata hai. 

 Flashes end 

Taani:- Rey she calls him in fear loudly

Rey who was walking already reached out but with her voice hit his ear  and he turns around and take a step towards Taani and suddenly statue fall down breaking into pieces. Rey again turns and look at the pieces of statue. 

Taani runs to Rey and hugs him tightly.

Taani:- aap thik hona Rey? 

Rey who was in shock come to his sense and hugs back  Taani.

Rey:; I am fine pata nahi kaise...? Ye..

Saint:- pata nahin kaise nahin yah uss atma ka kam hai jo tumse badla Lena chahti Hain yah sab uska Kiya karaya hai tumhare sath Jo Ho Raha hai yahan aane ke bad se . sab mai uska hath hai vah chahta hai ki Tum usake pass jakar usse Azad karo aur meri baten Na man kar Tum... tum vahi karne ja rahe Ho Jo vah chahta hai wahi kaam karne ja rahi ho....

               Aur  abhi tumne yahi dekha tha na Tani beta.  Jab tumne aakhe band ki thi....

Rey:- Taani Tum chalo yahan se yah Insan pagal hai aur hamen bhi banaa raha hai  tumne kab Aankhen band kari yah khud pagal hai aur hamen bhi banaa raha hai hamen jitni jaldi ho sake yahan se nikalna chahie statue ka girna its only  coincidence

Bahut purana tha isliye gir Gaya doesn't matter he hold her wrist and started to walk with her but he stops as he sees that Taani is not walking...

Rey:- Taani (he ask her from his eyes) 

Taani:- nahin Rey yah sach Kah Raha hai maine abhi kuchh second pahle dekha tha ki aap per yah statue girne wala hai isiliye main jor se chillai thi Maine aapse ek baat chhupai hai Rey jab se ham mile hain tab se jab jab aapane Mera hath pakda hai tab tab mujhe kuchh Aisa dikhai Diya hai jo aage hoga aur vah sab flashes sach hue hain.

He looks at her with so much confused..

Taani:- aapko yad hai jab ham pahli bar takrae the uske kuchh der bad main sidhiyon per se Giri Rahi thi aur aapane mujhe bataya tha maine vah tabhi dekh liya tha uske bad bahut sare aise incidence hue hain aapka river mein girna Mera raat ko jungle mein gum hona dar ke bhagana aur aaj aap yah statue ka girna yah sab maine pahle Apne Flashes main dekh chuki hun main manati hun ki yah punarjanm Jaisi chijen nahin hota hai I agree with you but kuch toh hai jo humse is jagah se juda hua hai aur hamen vah sort out karna hi hoga Varna na main chain se Ji paungi aur nahi aap...

Rey:- tumne mujhe pahle kyon nahin bataya itna sab kuchh hota Raha tumhare sath main manta hun kya ham abhi mile hain. 

 ham mushkil se dost Hain but fir bhi yah chij tumse Judi hui thi most importantly mujhse Judi hui thi tumhen mujhe to batana chahie tha.

Taani:- main batana chahti thi per mujhe laga may be aap believe Na Karo aapko yah sab majak Lage..

Rey:- Taani.....(he closes his eyes for a second....) Aaj ke Baad tum mujhse koi baat nahin chhupaoge jab tak ham yahan hai baat tumse Judi Ho ya mujhse  Tum har baat mujhe bataaogi as a friend mein itna to expect kar hi sakta hun

Taani node her head.

Saint:- yah sari baten bad mein karna abhi tum donon wapas chale jao . Kyunki andhera hone wala hai tum is Mandir mein to surakshit Ho per jis Jungle se hote hue Tum aaye Ho vahan se Raat mein tumhara Jana surakshit nahin hai ham log kal baat karenge main kal subah tumhara yahi intezar karunga.

Rey and Taani took his blessing and leave the place..

Soon reached the fort . Both had decided that they will not tell about this to swayam and Sharon. 

They reached the fort. Without any ones notice they went to their rooms to get ready for the mehedi and sangit function.

The mehandi artist started applying mehandi on girls hand and boys are sitting quietly other side.

Swayam :- kuchh bor nagi ho raha kya ?

Rey:- ho to raha h but karey kya ? 

Swayam:- tu kuchh kar na ... 

Purab:-  haa bhai kuchh to kar mujhe bor nahi hona aur agar meri mehandi and sangit itana sunsan type yani ki khamoshi se nikala to puri life bulbul mujhe galiya hi deti rahegi ....

Rey:- ruk kuchh karte h.

He goes to some boys and all comes to the centre of the hall.

And here the sangit function also starts

Rey starts dance and swayam and other boys join him 

Ye kudiyaan nashe di pudiyaan

Ye munde gali de gunde

Taani and Sharon starts dance and other girls accompany them.

O.. aa..

Swayam hold Sharon's hand and starts dancing 

Ud udke teri zulfein

Karti hain kya ishaare

Dil thaamke khade hain

Aashiq sabhi kanware

Taani come in between and make him lose Sharon's hand and then both dance

Chhup jaayein saari kudiyaan

Ghar mein sharamke maare

Gaanv mein aa gaye hain

Paagal shehar ke saare

Nazrein jhukake rakhna

Daaman bachake rakhna

Nazrein jhukake rakhna

Rey come to the centre and then dance around Taani...

Main ek jawaan ladka

Ye dil machal gaya toh

Mera kusoor kya hai

Taani gives best answer to Rey by her dance

Ye husn toh hai jaadu

Jaadu hi chal gaya to

So here I close my pen, now everything is in  your hand.  And Sneha "You wanted to steal Tani's locket, but  I put it in Taani's neck, now let's see how you get it out of her" .
