"So, Ladies and Gentlemen I, Tej Singh Oberoithe host of the party want to give a toast now, Tej gave a toast out of bluein the party and everyone concentrated on him.

He again continued himself, "Today, on OberoiEmpire's 50th anniversary I want to announce that today my elderson, Omkara Singh Oberoi is going to engaged with our business associate Mr.Arora's only daughter, Gauri, and everyone gave a toast too.

"What the hell is this Mom? Mr. Oberoi didn't evenasked me and announced all this, how dare..., Omkara objected at all theengagement scenario but Jahanvi requested him to not to, she literally wantedOmkara to marry Gauri. So, she tried to let him explain.

"Om! Please say yes, Jahanvi requested butOmkara denied and when he was about to leave this forceful engagement's dealJahanvi stopped him and bound him with her swear, which immediately stopped himbut he rolled his eyes and shrugged his mother's shoulders to make herunderstand that to sworn is not a solution of anything, but she somehowpersuade him to get engaged with the girl, as if she knew that Gauri is perfectfor her son.

After so many ifs and buts Omkara agreed andslipped a ruby studded ring in Gauri's finger so as Gauri did the same, buthappiness and excitement of being engaged was missing, only the guests, theOberoi's and Arora's were happy not the couple of the night, they were hidingtheir disagreement with a fake smile.

Gauri and Omkara both were sitting on the opposite corners of the party venue. Gaurisnapped her head and mumbled, "Oh God! Where did I get stuck?

Omkara too blabbered in his mind, "Mr. Oberoiand his so called business deals, apna beta bhi sell kar diya deal ke liye,and then he clenched his jaw.

Both of them were lost in their trances whenRudra jumped in front of Gauri, so as Annika jumped in front of Omkara.

"What are you doing here alone?, both of themasked the same question on the opposite corners to both Om and Gauri.

"Nothing, I don't like these parties and all, Omkaraand Gauri gave the same answers respectively.

"Oh is that so? Then we have a plan for you,Annika replied with shinning eyes and Rudra with a smirk.

"What do you want to say Bhabhi?, Om askedAnnika being amused, so Gauri asked in confusion to Rudra when he dragged herwith him, "Oh hello? Who are you and where are you dragging me with yourself

Finally RiKara were in front of each other, thattoo second time in their whole life time. First at the time of engagement andthen, now. Gauri and Omkara both weren't interested to look each other or sharea glare of just engaged types but naughty Oberoi sibling and their Annikabhabhi weren't in a mood to look somewhere else, than each other.

All introduced themselves to Gauri and then thesame time Shivay and Priyanka too joined them at which Gauri smiled a little togreet all of them, and again started looking down.

"What the hell is happening guys? Koibatayega?, Omkara gave them a not-so-interested look and asked.

"That's what we want to ask you. You both arejust engaged and... Where you both are lost?, Shivay questioned when Omkararolled his eyes but all the Oberoi siblings were ready with their plans theyimmediately informed them that on dadi's instructions they have planned a datefor both of them on their farm house which shocked both Gauri and Omkara andthey couldn't say anything except this sharing a gaze first time, "Fhat theWuck?

And this was enough to force rest of them toblast into the fits of laughter, Omkara simply denied the O' Bros indicating adeadly glare in a NO, but they too were ready for his gesture and they pointedat Dadi, who has planned all this. Omkara simply can't say no to dadi so he hadno option, so as Gauri's mother forced her to go with Omkara on a date, afterall they were just engaged.

Both RiKara made faces but left with no options they had to exit for a dateuninterestedly.

Om was driving the car right now, and was taking Gauri to Oberoi farm house,the pin drop silence was all over there in the car, they weren't even lookingat each other. The same time, cold breeze passed which blew the long shinyblack hair of Gauri and touched Omkara's face. He could feel the aroma in herlong hair and to feel that fragrance even more, he closed his eyes a bit, but Gauriat the same time fixed her hairs and tied with a hair clip.

"Sorry!, she apologized in soft tone, at whichhe smiled back.

"Waise kitni door hai aapka ye farm house?, sheasked to change the topic.

Om smiled, "I know it is too far from the venue,bas pahuchne wale hai in few minutes, she nodded affirmatively.

"Ummm! Gauri, Om wanted to let her know thereason of his agreement for this engagement, because he is the man of truth andthis was the girl with whom he has just engaged.

"Yes, she turned towards him and he couldeasily notice her doe shaped beautiful deep brown orbs.

She frowned when he didn't reply, "Omkara, youwanted to say something na?

This took him out of the trance with a jerk,"Haan!, to continue, "Gauri I didn't want to marry you?

"Then why did you get engaged with me?, sheshrugged her shoulders, but answer her own question, "Family pressure?, andarched her brow up.

"Yeah!, he replied.

"Hmm!, she hummed and continued with a gloomyface and looked at him like a child, "I too wanted to say something, and madeher eyes bigger, but he stopped the car with a jerk and jumped out off the car.He opened the door of Gauri's side and offered his hand to her, "Let's go insideMa'am for our so called date, at which she giggled.

She gave her cold palm into his warm one andthen they walked together towards the table set up for them by Om's siblings;both of them scanned the whole spot they were astonished at how well it wasdecorated for their first date with flowers and candles under the sky of starsand a full moon, at which Gauri was so mesmerized but laughed when she realized,"Do they know that you don't want to...?

"Yes!, he answered her question while sittingon the chair, her eyes popped out, "Fir bhi itni preparations?, she asked withamazement.

"Haan! They want me happy after being engaged toyou. I don't know why and how they are so sure that you are P-E-R-F-E-C-T forme, he emphasized the word perfect and chuckled.

She pouted and twisted her lips aside as if sheis so angry with him at his gesture but the same time she giggled and hecouldn't took his eyes off from her. She clasped her fingers on his face totake him back to senses.

"Huh! Haan, Om asked.

She replied, "By the way my family is also verysure about you and me, being US, which left Om's mouth open in O shape and itforced her to notice his innocence.

"Umm!, Om tried to search something whilefilling the water glasses and finally, Om found something to ask, "Oh! Haan,you wanted to say something in the car na?

"Oh yes I forgot, she patted her head lightlyand continued, "I want to confess that..., but she stopped in between to makesome suspense which confused Om, would be an understatement, it scared him abit. He asked in crack voice, "K-kya?

"Wo main..., she made a serious face which scaredOm more, "Wo main kya?

She laughed out loudly and finally answered,"Actually I too didn't want to get engaged, and blinked her eyes twice andthen chuckled.

"Are you mad? Do you have any idea how scared Iwas?, Om spilled out beans in singled breath while controlling his anger, atwhich she made a gloomy face and apologized, "sorry! Main to soch rahi thi youdon't laugh toh is coincidence pe thoda hasa du but, she held her ears withhands and again mumbled, "sorry

Her innocent face forced him to smile anyhow,and his first genuine smile widened her smile. They both were lost in eachother's smile and the same time the butler coughed to take them back into thereality.

Gauri and Om looked here and there and Omfinally stammered, "Please serve the the food

The butler served the food and left at the samemoment.

While having food their conversation was stillgoing on, Gauri coughed and showing the folk asked, "So first you tell me whydon't you want to get engaged with me?, she stopped for a while and continuedwith a wink, "Koi pehle se dhoondh rakhi hai

"Can you please use this folk only to havefood?, Om smirked at which she bit her tongue and he finally he answered,"Waise! Not yet.

"Okay!, she got satisfied with his answer, "Then,don't you like me?, she made a gloomy face.

"I have seen you first time tonight. Remember?,he sarcastically replied, "Then what should I understand? Do you like me or...,she left herself incomplete as if she was trying to examine him and he observedher from corner of eyes, taking his gaze up from the plate.

He didn't answer for few seconds and his torturewas making her restless, she wasn't getting to consider it his yes or not, buthe grinned when she made a puppy face, and now he tried to take the test of herrest, "hmmm..., he hummed for a long time at which she lost her patience andmade an angry face.

"Kya hmmm, she mimicked him at which hechuckled but Gauri being Gauri didn't understood why was he laughing but askedhim again showing folk to him, this time purposely, "Answer na! What should Iconsider it?

"Okay okay!!, he chuckled and tried to calm thewild cat down and continued, "Yes I like you, he genuinely answered whichbrought a wide happiest smile on her lips.

She was so happy as if a child of 5 has finallyachieved a cone of ice-cream of his favorite flavor, even she wasn't aware whyshe wanted herself to be liked by HIM, why did it matter to her a lot, but itdid and her eyes were shining even more than the stars and the candles.

Omkara was so astonished with the reason of herhappiness because she forgot to finish the food in this whole scenario. Heclasped finger in front of her eyes which jerked her and she somehow stoppedblushing and forced her to get normal.

He fetched a glass of juice, which was secretlyadulterated by alcohol by Annika and Rudra on the order of the unofficialyoungest member of the Oberoi family, Dadi, so Om being oblivious offered her,"Have some. I think you need it, he somewhere teased her but she withoutrealizing his taunt just fetch the glass to quench her thirst, and gulped itdown in a single go, which popped his socket of orbs out and he pressed hislips to stop his laughter.

She took a deep sigh and he asked arching hisbrows, "Kya hua?, she nodded her head lightly when he asked, "why don't youwant to get engaged with me?

"I've done everything by myself in my life frommy education to my first job, then why can't I search a man of my choice. I'vefull right na, she said while filling her glass of juice.

He stopped while sipping from juice and noddedin a yes, "That's like an independent girl. You know my types, he finished thewhole two glasses of juice and now said like a child, as in he was intoxicatingslowly.

Gauri too was intoxicated and replied, "tumbahut acchi idols banate ho om

"Om?, he asked innocently.

"Haan om. My om, she blushed a little andsipped the juice again.

"Your om and how?, he tipped his finger on hishead as if he is trying to think.

She frowned and pouted, "Arey tum bhi na buddhu,what if by force but we have engaged now, so that's why..., she took tremblingsteps towards him and he left his chair as he felt he was getting attacked byher, but she lost her balance on the intoxicated conditions in high pencilheels and fall over him on the floor.

They rolled over the floor and now she was underhim they were lost in each other's eyes, her hairclip has drop somewhere in thewhole scenario and they felt unsaid love and attraction for each other in theireyes when he asked in low stammering tone, "so that's why...what?

"Aise hi bata doon?, she asked and then madehim realized about their position.

Om let her comfortably be seated on the carpetand blinked his eyes twice like a toddler, "Ab batao

"Hmmm, she patted a finger on her cheek andsnapped his cheek lightly, "Offo that is why you are mine and I am yours, andfinally kissed his cheek.

Om glared her a bit to scare her and smiled withshiny eyes while cupping her cheeks, "You are very intelligent Gauri I'm yoursand you are mine... but...

"But?, she asked being scared, "But on ourfamily's pressure not with our consent, and pouted.

She looked into his eyes with love and encircledhis neck with her arms, "So what now we are ready

"How are you sure about me?, he arched his browtwice.

She hit her head with his and calmly said,"That's why I'm in your arms, and blushed.

His eyes too shine and he whispered, "I love youGauri, that's why you are mine., he stopped for a second and confirmed, "Doyou love me? I don't want to be yours without your consent and that too atforce, he made a gloomy face.

She blushed and finally sealed her soft rosylips on his and they shared a kiss and after a long kiss they parted away andhit heads with each other's.

"Yes I do, she sweetly answered his questionand the intoxication of the mild alcohol let them embrace into a slumber.

In the morning the Sun rose and hit Om's face to disturb him from his peacefuland loveable sleep. He tried a lot to sleep again and again but finally openedhis eyes and found Gauri, sitting on his lap and hiding her head on his chest.He smiled remembering the whole confession date and kissed her hair. She tooopen her eyes and share a gaze with him and then blushed into crimson red andagain hid her face in his chest and he embraced her tightly again in a hug.

And finally they mumbled, "You are mine and I amyours!!
