Two Years Later. . . .


It's been two wholeyears... f**king two years since the time I had let Geet go away to London andtill date I regret my decision. She had made me promise not to call her orvisit her while she's in London, but I made sure I have all her information ifnot directly then indirectly. I have deployed Nina to our London branch and hadtold her keep me updated about Geet. She had asked the reason and I had to tellher the truth! That day she had been angry on both of us. Though she didn'ttell anyone else but had given me a good long speech. Ever since she has goneto London she has been staying with Geet and had told me how much Geet issuffering. I know we are both suffering but I can't bring myself to go andbring her back for forever. I feel I'm betraying my uncle if I marry her. If**king don't know what should I be doing.
Dadima had come to knowabout the events that had taken place on my birthday and she had been angry aswell. She kept trying to make me understand that if I marry Geet then I'm notbetraying my uncle since it was his last wish as well. But still I'm notconvinced.
I got up from mychair and stood in front of the frame which had me standing with my uncle withthe trophy of best businessman of the year in my hand. I traced his face - Imiss him, I miss him a lot. A tear slid down to my cheek as I remembered howhappy he was that day. "Uncle, you have always guided me in thick and thin ofthe life. Whenever I was lost you guided my path. But today again I'm lost. I'mtorn between the two most precious people of my life. I love Geet a lot unclebut whenever I thought of the culmination of our love into the sacredrelationship, I feel like I'm betraying you. I don't know what I should doanymore. Please guide me like you always did." I leaned on the frame keepingforehead on it, trying to find some solace. As I moved back the frame moved alittle and an envelope fell down.
I stared at theenvelope for a little too long. It's the content that had me shocked to thecore. It was my uncle's last letter to me. He had written it couple of daysbefore he died. Guess he had anticipated his death. In his letter he hadexpressed his last wish which was that I get married to the woman I love i.e.Geet. He had wanted me to be married to Geet! I can't believe what I had read.All the while he had wanted me find to Geet and make her fall in love with me.Oh god! Why he loved me so dearly that while dying too he wanted my happiness.He had even talked to her dad again! Even Geet's parents wanted the same. Ineed some answers and I know who has my answers.
I was standing at thedoorstep of Handa Villa with Geet's mom staring at me with wide eyes and jawsdropped. "You found the letter, didn't you?" Now it was my turn to be stunned.I gasped realizing they knew all this while they knew. "How do you know?" mycuriosity had gotten better of me. She gestured me to come inside and Ifollowed her to the living room where Geet's dad was reading evening newspaper.He looked up at me and he too was surprised and then realization dawned uponhim. He gestured me to sit and once we settled, "your uncle had said that onceyou find his letter, you will come here. He knew you pretty well." He smiledwhile I can see the moistness in his eyes. "Raman and I were close friends. Wehad graduated from same college." He said while gesturing to his wife andhimself. "He had told me about your love for Geet and I was more than happy tomarry Geet to you but we didn't want to force her into anything. However, Ramanwas damn sure that one day you will make Geet fall in love with you and I mustsay he was right. So, son what brings you here? I think by now you should havebeen in the flight to London." He looked at me smirking while I was gaping atthem with an open mouth. "Well, this whole idea was his. To bring Geet back andthen make join in KC and everything, because he knew Geet won't be able toresist your charm and will fall for you and that my son happened!" I wasshocked beyond imagination. "But alas he left us even before the plan wasstarted. It was his last wish and we decided to fulfill it. But we waited forsome time as we knew you needed time to stable yourself after his loss." Thatwas too much of information for me to take in. All I wanted was my uncle tocome down here from where ever he had gone so I can hug him for loving me soselflessly.
"Maan, where are youlost son? It's high time that both you and Geet stop all this childishness ofbeing in the guilt trip and start afresh. This is what we want and this is whatyour uncle had wished for. And if you both are still going to be dumb asses andthen trust me lad I'm going to tie you both and then will get you married."Geet's dad finished standing to his feet with a warning which made me chuckleand tears welled up in my eyes. I got up and walked up to him and hugged himtight," thanks uncle!" I muttered as I couldn't speak anymore as my throatcloaked with emotions. "It's dad you idiot." Geet's dad said patting my back,"now go and bring my even dumber daughter so I can marry her off to you and thenwe will leave it to you both idiots." I laughed and nodded, "don't worry dad,mom I will bring Geet back soon and you lot can start making arrangements forour wedding." Dad and mom smiled as I took their blessings and left to bring myGeet back to where she belongs!
I couldn't help butgrin ear to ear as I sat in my private jet and was all set to fly down toLondon where I will be meeting Geet after 2 whole years. Damn her, why did shehave to leave in the first place. But what had happened has happened. Now Idon't want to look back, I have task at my hand to finish. I have to fulfilluncle's wish. I sighed as I again thought of him; however, my reverie brokewhen I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to my side to look at Danish who waslooking at me concerned probably he had seen me going sad. I nodded no andsmiled. Though he didn't buy, didn't probe further. Rather he did what he doesbest - being a dickhead- in Geet's words. "So, what are you going to do onceyou will see Geet? Are going to hug her, kiss or maybe a makeup for the losttime?" he winked at me however, frowned as I punched him in the stomach. "Don'tfly high on your imaginations and what I do when I meet Geet is for me to knowand her to find out, so you have got no business here." I smirked as I saw theshocked look at his face.
 




Few hours later. . . .


 
Dan and I werestanding outside the house where Geet and Nina were staying. Oh did I tell youthat Geet and Nina were staying Khurana residence which we have in Hampstead,London. Well, if Geet could make me agree to not see her then two can play thegame.  I had made her agree that she willbe staying at the place which I will choose for her. So, here we are standingat the doorstep waiting for the residents to open and get the shock of theirlives. "Maan, I don't want to go inside, the two lunatics in there will killme!" I looked at Dan as he started blurting whatever was coming in his mind,"then why in hell you always being a dick to them." I taunted him since I knowthe reason well. Before he could come back with a retort, the door opened andthere stood the woman I was dying to meet.
 
Now we all sat in theliving room with Geet and Nina looking at us expecting some sort of explanationfor our sudden landing here. However, we were both pretty relaxed. "So, won'tyou gals ask us for some coffee or tea or some snacks since we have coveredsuch a long journey." Dan broke the eerie silence which was prevailing but oopshe rubbed the wrong side of the pretty ladies. "Well, since you guys decided toland here unannounced that too in the middle of the night, so you can serveyourself." Saying so, Nina got up and turned on her heels left for her roomleaving us three. I nudged Dan to go away as well but that idiot didn't budgerather sprawled on the sofa.
 
"Oh wow, this sofa isso damn comfy, I guess I'll be sleeping." Dan declared as he made himselfcomfortable on the sofa. I stood up shaking my head at, "you are suchscoundrel" I muttered so only he can hear to which he just grinned at me. Iwalked towards the stairs and led myself to the room which I know will provideme the much needed privacy - my study! As I entered my study, I took off myjacket and hung it on the hanger and then stood near the French window lookingoutside. I knew Geet is going to follow me here and I wasn't wrong. The dooropened and I knew Geet is here, I don't have look back, I can feel her presencelike always.
 
"So, you broke thepromise" I heard Geet speaking. She hadn't talked to me in last two years andher melodious voice was music to ears. I turned around and smiled faintly, "youdidn't speak to me in two years and now when you are this is all what you haveto say?" I complained to her, to which she frowned and then inhaled a longbreath, "I'm sorry Maan, but why are you here? You had promised me and bycoming here you have broken that promise." I walked towards her and stood rightin front of her as I stared at her taking my fill. I haven't seen her for solong and right now I'm in pure bliss. "Well, you see Geet I have broken thepromise because I have to fulfill some other promises which are apparently moreimportant to this one." I gestured with my fingers; however, confusion marredher beautiful face, "what do you mean Maan?" "What I mean..hmm... Geet I'm notgoing to beat around the bush, in fact I will be very straight. I'm here totake you back with me and then I do have plans to get married to you." I spokestunning her and her eyes went so wide that I felt the eyeballs will jump outof them. "Maan.." just a mere whisper of my came out of her mouth. "You heardme Geet. I'm here for you, for me, for us!"
And then I went onexplaining her the happening of past few days, she was crying continuously andI don't know what should I say to stop her from crying because no matter whather tears pierce my heart. So, I did what I thought to be best, moving ahead Iengulfed her in my embrace and she too gave in willingly. She was veryemotional now and I knew only I can comfort her.
Once she had calmeddown and had come to terms with whatever I had told her, her brain startedworking and her eyes widened as she realized her parents were also themasterminds of this whole fiasco. I think she probably had a few flashbacks aswell, as I can see confusion going away and realization settling on her face."Hawww... Mom and dad tricked me!" Whoa... finally my Geet is back. God savesmom-dad from their little devil.
Since now, Geet hadcome back to her normal-self, I thought to take up my chance as well. I kneeleddown in front of her, "You proposed me and I disposed you two years ago. Butnow I know my mistake and want to set things right. So, Miss. Geet Handa, willyou oblige me the pleasure to spend the rest of my life with you as your lover,husband, friend and companion. I want to grow old with you and I want my nightsand days to be spent in your beautiful arms. I promise to love with all mybeing, I promise to fulfill all your sane demands, I promise to bear yourmadness and I promise to give five adorable babies and more if you want." Icompleted my proposal and found her gaping at me. "Five?" she whispered alreadyperspiring at the thought, while I decide to have some fun, "kyu kam hainGeet?" I made the most innocent face but only received her punch. "Oh god,don't kill me woman" I groaned holding my stomach. "This was for teasing me,next time you tease me I'll be kicking where the sun doesn't shine and where ithurts the most." She threatened me while I smirked standing to my feet. I movedcloser to her wrapping my arms around her waist I pulled he me till our bodieswere aligned, "Trust me Geet, if you kick me there then it's gonna be your lossbaby. If I'm unable to pleasure and satiate you in bed then you can't blame, sodrop the idea of kicking me there." I said softly, my breath falling on herface while I tucked away a lose tendril behind her ear, caressing it softly.Her cheeks flushed as she registered my not so decent words, she tried to pullaway but I had no intentions of leaving her, not now, not ever in this lifetime.
"Is that a blush Isee or you are feeling hot in here. Or is it that my proximity is making youfeel hot?" I again teased her, she snapped her eyes at me and then her eyeswent wide, "You ass-hat! You knew it all that while." She stated as she hit meon my chest, while I chuckled pulling her closer to me tightly, "Oh Geet, Ilove you so very much." I said looking into her eyes, while she smiled and thatsmile took away my last bit of control that I was holding onto and leaning downI kissed her.
Our first kiss! Atfirst the kiss was small, just little pecks. I didn't want to rush but wantedus both to enjoy our first kiss. She too responded to the kiss and wrapped herarms around my nape. I pulled her closer to me as our lips locked. Slowly thekiss started to grow deeper and more intense, our love, desire and passion foreach other taking over us.
Without any worriesor thoughts, I pulled her on top me as she wrapped he legs around my waist. Ithen pinned her to nearby wall as I started to deepen our kiss. She tastedheavenly to me. Tentatively with my tongue, I traced across the bottom of herlip. The soft caresses of her lips felt like heaven. I bit down onto her lowerlip seeking entry into her mouth. I traced her mouth with my tongue, she's so sweet.I traced all the hidden crevices of her mouth my tongue and at last our tonguesmet and then indulged in the war of their own.
 
After a long momentwhich felt like eternity, I broke the kiss as we both needed air to breath. Wewere both panting with the exotic and passionate kiss that we had shared. Irested my forehead to hers while her eyes remained closed. "Geet" I whisperedwanting to look into her eyes but all I can see was her scarlet red face. Shejust hid her face in my chest hugging me tight and I too reciprocated smilingwidely and enjoying the feel of our first kiss and feel of her being in myarms.
"I love you, Maan"she spoke softly after a few moments, I kissed her head, "I love you too, Geet"and then tightened my hold around her. A content smile spread across our facesand we both found the solace in each other's arms.
