First of all I am extremely sorry for not updating last Sunday as I was extremely busy, also after that I had been suffering from migraine. Well hope all of you enjoy the last chapter of this part.
CHAPTER-19
So I never really knew you
God, I really tried to
Blindsided, addicted
Felt we could really do this
But really I was foolish
Hindsight, it's obvious
Talking with my lawyer
She said, "Where'd you find this guy?"
I said, "Young people fall in love
With the wrong people sometimes"
Some mistakes get made
That's alright, that's okay
You can think that you're in love
When you're really just in pain
Some mistakes get made
That's alright, that's okay
In the end, it's better for me
That's the moral of the story, babe
It's funny how a memory
Turns into a bad dream
When running wild turns volatile
Remember how we painted our house
Just like my grandparents did?
So romantic, but we fought the whole time
Should have seen the signs, yeah
Talking with my mother
She said, "Where'd you find this guy?"
Said, "Some people fall in love
With the wrong people sometimes"
Some mistakes get made
That's alright, that's okay
You can think that you're in love
When you're really just in pain
Some mistakes get made
That's alright, that's okay
In the end it's better for me
That's the moral of the story, babe
They say it's better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all
That could be a load of shit
But I just need to tell you all
Some mistakes get made
That's alright, that's okay
You can think that you're in love
When you're really just engaged
Some mistakes get made
That's alright, that's okay
In the end it's better for me
That's the moral of this story
Some mistakes get made
That's alright, that's okay
You can think that you're in love
When you're really just in pain
Some mistakes get made
That's alright, that's okay
In the end it's better for me
That's the moral of the story, babe
Oh-oh, oh-oh (that's the moral of the story, that's the-)
(Oh-oh, oh-oh)
(Oh-oh, oh-oh)
MORAL OF THE STORY
“Thank you for giving me your whole day,” said Imlie.
“It was my pleasure,” replied Aryan.
“Bye, and yes if you feel suffocated you can always share with me” said Imlie.
“But you said you are not my friend”
Imlie thought for a while and replied, “No, I am your friend from now on. It’s important to make a comfort ground too”
Aryan smiled at Imlie’s words. She waved him goodbye and went inside the College Gate.
“Yo, welcome girl, how was your date?” asked Niti as Imlie walked inside her room.
“Wasted”
“What?” Niti sat on her bed surprised. She was watching dramas lying on her bed.
“We had an assassin on our tail and I couldn’t even enjoy the date for the first seven to eight hours. It was a complete ruin with that pest on the background”
“I am so sorry to hear it”
“You don’t need to be sorry, it’s just my luck ain’t that great”
“I can clearly see that”
Imlie gave Niti a frustrated look when Niti said, “Maybe you are jinxed…” and laughed.
“Niti…”
“Yes”
“It’s not funny anymore”
“Okay, don’t get angry, go and take a bath. By the way your order has arrived”
“Really? Where are the boxes?”
“Those on your study table. But what did you order?”
“Skincare and makeup products”
“Really? Show, show”
“See face wash, toner, serum, moisturizer, sunscreen, body wash, loofah is free with the body wash. And these are primer, foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, mascara, eyeliner, lipsticks, eyebrow definer, powder, eyeshadow and this what was the name of this… oh yes I remembered it's the highlighter” said Imlie showing Niti her newly bought stuffs one by one.
“Imlu all are good but just know this can become a bad addiction to buy these things. I know because I am suffering from it, every month I want to buy some makeup products and many are wasted like this. Some of them expired before I finished them” said Niti.
“I will try my best not to overspend my money. Accha(okay) I am going to the bathroom” said Imlie and went to take a bath.
Niti sighed and took her smartphone, “Now I feel like shopping too. What should I buy? Lip stain or lip gloss?”
Imlie came to the room with her bucket filled with her clothes which she washed immediately, she went to the balcony and hung the clothes for drying. As she returned to her room her phone rang. She looked at her screen, it was an unknown number. She picked it up.
“Hello”
“Hello Imlie, this is Chavi. And save this number, it’s mine”
“You got a new cell phone?” asked Imlie excitedly.
“Yes, Aditya bought it for me today even a new laptop”
“Woah, he’s generous after the marriage annulment”
“Haha, he said he would take care of me till I get hold of my property rights and be independent financially”
“That’s really great of him. He is really a reliable person indeed”
“Yeah, by the way my relationship with the Tripathi's improved. Aparna aunty is extremely generous now”
“She may have understood her mistake”
“Yes, she feels sorry for being prejudiced. But one person isn’t happy about it”
“Who?”
“Aditya’s bari maa(big mom), she even fought with Aparna aunty today”
“Why?”
“Because she called Malini and aunty saw her bitching about me, Aparna aunty believes though Malini and Aditya should give their relationship a chance, it’s a private matter of the couple. As an elder and outsider they should only give advice if either Malini or Aditya asks them personally. She doesn’t want to entertain the idea that since our marriage has annulled it directly means that the ‘wife’ tag should be passed to Malini”
“I see, Aparna ma…I mean aunty is keeping her mind open this time.”
“Yes, she doesn't want to haste with her judgements as she had done the mistake once.”
“I guess in a way, it’s good for you. At the end you found a new family in them”
“Yes, they took the guardian role of mine. Especially Aditya, so I submitted a fresh application to the College and changed the local guardian to Aditya.”
“You absolutely did the best. Even when we will fill the exam application at the end of the semester there will be two spaces to fill for guardians. One is the local guardian and the other is the real family. You better keep Aditya and the Tripathi family as your local guardian”
“By the way Imlie,”
“Yes”
“I don’t feel like taking more favors from Aditya”
“If you want anything from me just say me, I will help you at any cost”
“Thank you for your assurance, actually I need to buy books and notebooks, also stationary stuff like pens. Please don’t be tensed for the money, I still have jewelries from my marriage”
“Chavi, I hope all the jewelries aren’t with you right now. It’s risky to keep gold in hostel”
“No, Aditya put them in a bank locker. And he opened a new account in the bank for me, he said he would transfer my pocket money there every month. But to be honest it feels heavy on my heart”
“I understand, let’s meet tomorrow, well even I feel like I have to buy notebooks. Chavi, will you mind if a friend of mine accompanies me?”
“No, not at all. In this chance I can make new friendships too”
“Hold on a second…”
“Yes”
Imlie held the phone a little far and asked Niti who was tying her pajama thread as they would go to the hall for dinner.
“Niti, tomorrow girls day out? Are you free?”
Smiles filled her face as she showed Imlie a thumbs up.
Imlie got back to her call, “Chavi, tomorrow morning I and my friend Niti will be in front of your College to pick you up”
“Okay, see you tomorrow.”
Imlie heard a girl’s voice in Chavi's background.
“Chavi let’s go for dinner”
“Ah, Imlie my roommate Atifa is calling for dinner”
“Sure, bye and good night.”
“Good night”
“Imlu… I guess we also should run for the hall. There will be a crowd as most of the girls had returned back to hostel”
“Yes, let’s go”
The two of them went for dinner.
It was almost twelve when Imlie’s phone rang again. She woke up and heard Niti cursing in her sleep for the noise her phone made. The call was from Harshit.
“Hello Bro, you are calling me so late. What’s the matter?”
“Late? Wait, let me check the clock. I just returned from office”
“It’s midnight bro; leave it, let's come to the main topic. Why did you call me?”
“The assassin on your tail today was really sent for Aryan Singh Rathore”
“As I guessed beforehand”
“But there is something more”
“What?”
“We checked his account and do you know who transferred money to his account recently?”
“How would I know if you don’t say it?”
“Ahem, it’s Ashutosh Rana”
“Really? Wow, at last you have started to find evidence against that man. So, you called to share your happiness?”
“Actually I want to ask you something?”
“Go ahead”
“We checked Ashutosh’s account. He actually transferred money to some man called Abdullah last night. And I think he is also related to this case”
“You believed in that name bro?”
“As thought, you already know something”
“I know but I was waiting for you to ask me personally. Search Purani Delhi area behind the old Hanuman temple. You will find Satish Chaubey there aka Abdullah aka Azeem Khan, the one who escaped from your hand thanks to some media reporters following to increase their trps. He is the major informer of Ashutosh”
“You seem to know everything”
“This was by my hardwork and sheer luck”
“I didn’t get you”
“He was keeping an eye on me and Aryan when we were talking at the park. Later after Aryan left I saw him coming out of the park. I was in the Cafe near the park at that time, so I followed him from there. And a shopkeeper called him Satish when he reached the alley near Hanuman Mandir. I later asked the shopkeeper and he said his name is Satish Chaubey and he rented a room there two weeks back.”
“So that day you were late” Harshit didn’t ask Imlie how she knew his name was Azeem as he knew she might skip his question.
“Yes, I used my card to enter College Campus and Hostel after eight”
“You took a risk?”
“I only take risks that cannot harm me”
“That’s so like you”
“Okay, good night now. Hope you would be successful in getting Rana”
“Okay good night”
Imlie tried to sleep again after talking with Harshit but she couldn’t bring back the blessings of the Slumber Goddess. She put on her earphones as she suddenly started analyzing Aryan’s behavior throughout the day.
There’s something missing between them and she was feeling it to some extent. She played the song called ‘Ishqiya’ from her playlist.
Sweden:
Aryan came to his library office and put on his playlist as he had to work. The first song was ‘Ishqiya’ in the playlist. His mother had made this playlist recently and sent him the link.
Aryan opened his laptop and saw a new email. It was from the spy he planted near Aryan Singh Rathore. He sent the pictures of Aryan’s visit to ASP Mall. At first as he was scrolling he didn’t notice much but at a picture he stopped. It was a picture of Aryan and Imlie eating in the food court.
“Imlie?” he blurted, surprised.
“Why is she with him? She had already met him even in this timeline. Just why?” he murmured under his breath as he went back in the memory lanes.

Imlie came from her office as she saw Aryan lying down on the couch with a magazine. He was not well so skipped the office for the day. As Imlie entered she came towards him and checked his temperature. He looked at her and exclaimed, "Wow, you are home already"
"Why wouldn't I?" she replied with a smile.
"So much love for a roommate?" asked Aryan.
"What do you do when that roommate is also your boyfriend?"
Aryan pulled her by her waist and made her sit on his lap.
"Imlie what would I do without you? You give me the sense of a family I never had"
Imlie kissed his lips when he pulled back, "You mad woman I have fever, you will get it too."
"You know I always feel like eating you whenever my eyes goes towards those pink lips of yours"
"Mad woman as always" said Aryan.
"For you my Choco pie. Let me make some hot soup. You must be hungry by now"
"I am a better cook than you Miss Imlie"
"Aryan, you didn't go to the kitchen. Right?"
Aryan stiffened up as he knew she would get angry if she knew he went to the kitchen even though he was ill.
Teri chaukhat pe baithe rahey
I kept sitting on your doorstep
Aryan knocked on the door of their apartment. At last he opened it with his keys when she didn’t open the door. He went inside, their story started because both of them were short in cash and lied to the flat owner that they were a pair of husband-wife. They met at a park struggling with their life and fell in love as they shared the house. He saw her coming out of her room with a suitcase.
“Where are you going?” asked Aryan.
“Back to the person I love,” replied Imlie.
“Didn’t you say you love me? Aren’t I the one you love?”
“No” she replied and tried to leave when held her right hand. They were looking in the opposite direction as the roads were separating and he was the one with no answer. He didn’t know when things fell down between them living under the same roof.
“Who do you love?”
“Aryan Singh Rathore”
“So…you love my rich duplicate. Imlie what kind of a woman you are? You loved a different man who has the same name and face as mine. You loved him for money. Right? I am an orphan, I do a mediocre nine to five job but he is rich. You gold digger”
“Aryan mind your language… I am not a gold digger, I am just trying to make things right which messed up for my wrong decisions”
“Are you saying I was the wrong decision?” asked Aryan as he turned towards her and turned her around by holding her wrist.
“Yes”
He never expected this answer, his eyes were red and he was sweating. He couldn’t believe his Imlie would say this. Who is this lady in front of his eyes? This question was ringing in his head like a hammer. She removed his hand and head out of the apartment.
Bholey hum
I was innocent
Bholey tum
You were innocent
Aur zamane ki sunte gaye
And, we kept listening to the society
"Titanic pose, Aryan" Imlie shouted.
"Nope... Not my cup of tea."
"Hey ... It's our honeymoon... Don't you dare waste it mister"
"How about this?"
Aryan pulled Imlie near him and looked at her eyes. After looking for a few minutes she said, "I don't want to stay here anymore. Let's go back to the hotel room"
"You mad woman"
Meri, tu ne, na suni kabhi
You have never listened to me
Kyu mai, tumko, pukaru
Then why should I call you
Aansu, baithe, qaid palkon pe
Tears sat on the imprisoned eyelashes
Kaise, inko bahaau?
How do I let them flow?
“Are you mad Imlie? We are married. How can you talk about divorce for another man?” screamed Aryan in anger.
“Aryan, I was married to him in my first life, I suddenly remembered now I time traveled back in time” Imlie tried to convince him.
“No, you are definitely not sane. Have you looked at his face? He looks like a duplicate of me. First life, my foot. Didn’t you get a better excuse than this? You were cheating on me with him right? Right Imlie?'' asked Aryan, holding Imlie’s arm roughly and pulling her close.
Tears rolled down her eyes as she stammered and said, “Aryan, you…are hurting me”
“Hurting you? Do you know how much I am hurting right now?”
“Aryan, he was the one I was destined to meet as a life partner. But I met you first in the college as you were there as Assistant Professor and fell in love with you. Also we married immediately after my college finished and with your help I was able to divorce Aditya. Things got messed up there…It should have been Aryan Singh Rathore guiding me through the tough path of life. Not you… He was the one who did it in my first life”
“How many lies do you want to spew? I am going to count them…Tell them in an organized manner I am counting them”
“Aryan I am sorry”
“No, don’t lie…You are not sorry for a bit” Aryan was sweating profusely and was crying. As he nodded his head in disgust his tears fell everywhere but Imlie didn’t consider any of it. She was bent on the line that Aryan Singh Rathore was the partner her ‘Goddess Sita’ chose for her.
Ishqiya maine haa
I fell in love
Mai haara main haara mai haaraa
I lost, I lost, I lost
Aryan remembered in both of these timelines he died with an heart attack that very night after Imlie left him.
Tune kaha jo
Whatever you said
Maine kiya woh
I did it
Ab kya gila hai tujhe
Then what complaint do you have?
Aryan suddenly remembered a timeline where he was able to remember only one timeline and tried to change destiny. He went to Imlie’s village so that she wouldn’t need to marry Aditya at all. He was an orphan, he worked hard and became an engineer. He helped her to gain a new life and brought her to Delhi from Pagdandia. He even saved up his money and gave her admission in City College, she managed to get a scholarship but he was responsible for her hostel life. He did everything she asked him to do, they went on dates and he brought her gifts. But in the end she got curious about Aryan Singh Rathore who was the CEO of Bhaskar Times where she got her internship. She was curious because he looked like the Aryan who saved her but was completely a different person. When Aryan asked her why she didn't see his efforts for her, Aryan Singh Rathore came there and warned him not to put a hand on the girl he likes. He was clear about being a possessive guy. His words still rang in Aryan’s ears.
“Aryan or whoever you are…my cheap copy. I Aryan Singh Rathore won’t let you bully my girl. I understand that you helped her in the time of her need but does every girl need to fall in love with her savior? You seem to be a selfish man though we have the same face”
Hum toh huye jogi
I became hermit in your love
Tasbih teri kar

Haasil Huwa kya hume?
What have I earned?
In that timeline Aryan died when he was rejected by Imlie. Aryan Singh Rathore had torn off a blank cheque to settle the debt he had on Imlie. But what would a man do when he lost the love of his life? He lost his last breath after being hit by a truck on that very day.
Tooti tasveere kaise jodu mai
How do I fix the broken picture?
Aryan covered his mouth with his hands as unpleasant memories broke through every shield he made in this life. He never thought there was a necessity to meet Imlie in this life at any cost but as he saw her face in his screens, he couldn’t bear his pain. He remembered most of the timelines when they came together and then got separated, he tried so hard to hold onto her failing every time.
Jhute daawe kaise tolu mai
How do I weigh false claims?
Ishq tha saccha
The love was real
Magar tum bejaan they
But, you were heartless
Kaash kabhi tu samajhta mujhe
I wish you had understood me once
He remembered one more timeline, they crossed each other at a Cinema hall and then in a bank. By luck they kept crossing each other and she came to his clinic. He was a doctor and slowly they fell in love. But when they decided to marry each other she met with an accident and she had a memory loss; at first she didn’t say much but when she saw the wedding card and Aryan had no surname as he was an orphan she freaked out. Imlie blamed him as an imposter and asked her to take her to her real husband. Even Aryan Singh Rathore came to find her as she called him. Both of them seem to know a life that Aryan wasn’t aware of and they put him in jail for being an imposter. Aryan Singh Rathore even destroyed the doctor’s license and said that two people can’t have the same faces. Later as Aryan never had plastic surgery his innocence was proved but when he came out of jail he couldn’t join his professional field. He went to Aryan Singh Rathore’s office to meet him but he saw Imlie and Aryan walking to the office hand in hand.
Dheemi dheemi aahatein teri
That slow sighs of yours
Aaj bhi de sadaayein
Given pain even till today
Par jo zakhm dil mein chupe baithe
But, the wound I hid in my heart
Kaise in ko mitaye
How do I get rid of it?
Later he met Imlie alone once when she was waiting for her husband and asked her, “Why did you ruin me? Why did you change so much after that accident? Just because you had a memory loss”
He held her arms tightly when a punch landed on his face, “How dare you touch my wife?”
“But I asked her a valid question,” replied Aryan.
“Why didn’t you tell me your surname? I thought you were Aryan Singh Rathore”
“You always knew I never had a surname”
“I don’t remember,” Imlie screamed, holding her head with her hands.
“Look Aryan, she can’t take any fatal damage” said Aryan Singh Rathore.
“I was a doctor which I am not anymore thanks to both of you. But she ruined me just because she forgot the past we had together and got instilled with new batches of memories”
“I don’t remember anything, ABP please take me away from here” Imlie begged.
Aryan Singh Rathore pushed Aryan on the ground and drove away with his wife.
Ishqiya maine haa
I fell in love
Mai haara main haara mai haaraa
I lost, I lost, I lost
That night Aryan suicided as he had no means left to earn money and had no hope to live his life anymore.
Ishqiya maine haa
I fell in love
Mai haara main haara mai haaraa
I lost, I lost, I lost
As these memories of Imlie popped up when Aryan saw her pictures and the footage of the ASP Mall, one drop of tear rolled down his cheek.
"Imlie Bhuyan, have you met Aryan Singh Rathore already in this life? What was my fault? In every timeline you chose him over me... Whether we were married or not married, it didn't matter, he became your choice. He was always the rich, influential guy and I was the poor person who had always been an orphan not knowing my roots. Funny thing is, I can't even claim myself as his twin as we are two to three years apart. But you know what? This time I remember every timeline you lived in. I might be an orphan and not know where I was born like every time, but I am rich because I have the memories of all the times you betrayed me. This time I am richer than your Aryan Singh Rathore, if you know this will you choose me? No I don’t even want to give you this option, I hate you... I hate you...I just Hate you...for breaking my heart and eating away my life. This time I won't give my heart to you at all and will not die because of you…"
Ishqiya
I fell in love
The next day started with Imlie and Niti exercising too hard, later they went to pick up Chavi after breakfast.
Chavi was surprised to see Imlie and Niti in jeans and top, at least she didn’t expect Imlie to change her style and wear makeup.
“Imlie are you sure this is you?” asked Chavi rather surprised.
“Are you surprised to see my new avatar? Haha, I thought why not try new fashion. By the way, meet Niti” replied Imlie.
“Hello” Niti greeted.
“Namaste,” Chavi greeted back. She was quite uncomfortable to see Niti in crop top. Imlie was decent in her opinion as she didn’t wear a top revealing her belly button unlike Niti who was showing it without shame in Chavi's opinion.
Imlie noticed the uncomfortableness of Chavi and said, “Let’s head to Sarojini Nagar first and buy some clothes and then we will go to DLF South Square to eat something. After that let’s go to buy Chavi’s books… Are you guys okay with the plan?”
“Perfect…” Niti replied.
Imlie and the girls went to Sarojini Nagar, Imlie and Niti almost jumped on to find from cute to trendy clothes for themselves. Chavi also bought kurtis, suddenly Niti and imlie remembered that the rule of their College was to wear kurtis for classes. They got cotton kurtis along with stoles and jeans. After a huge thrift shopping they went to DLF South Square. When they were exploring the shops Imlie and Niti were behind Chavi, who was awestruck to see the beautiful stores in the mall. Suddenly a guy passed Niti and bumped into Chavi as he was walking fast while being busy on his phone. He crossed her but the bracelet which was on his right hand got stuck on Chavi’s sleeve of her kameez which was till the wrist of her left hand. Imlie stopped Niti as the scene unfolded in front of their eyes.
He abruptly turned around with the sudden back pull as his bracelet was stuck and both Chavi and the guy stopped only a few inches away from each other looking at each other confused. He was in joggers and a hoodie covering his hair, he had a mask on.
“Wow…this was filmy” exclaimed Niti in a whispering voice.
“Indeed… but look at you talking about filmy, even you bumped into Harshit from behind and the stare that followed after that was without any blinking” Imlie whispered back at her.
Niti gave a murderous look to Imlie.
Chavi brought up her left hand looking where his bracelet was stuck. He looked at her eyes without any expression when suddenly his cell phone vibrated. He looked at the number flashed on his screen. His expressions changed immediately after that to anger and he didn’t wait for Chavi’s attempt to untangle his bracelet. He jerked off his hand ruining the threads of her sleeve and breaking his bracelet.
“Hey, hey …hey…what the hell are you doing?” Chavi panicked as the threads came out with his force.
He didn’t look at her as his bracelet hung on her sleeve, he took an U-turn and left the mall with aggressive steps towards the exit.
“What the hell is wrong with him?” Chavi shouted in anger. The other people looked at Chavi as if she was some idiot. Imlie and Niti held Chavi by her waist and guided her to the Domino’s outlet.
“Imlie, Niti, did you see what that guy did? He ruined my pretty kameez” Chavi kept on repeating the same line.
“Yes, yes that guy is a bad guy,” said Niti.
“He is a dumbo I believe” Imlie also tried to cool her down.
“If I meet him next time, he will meet my jutti(shoe) first” retorted Chavi.
“Definitely…” Imlie tried to calm her.
“He didn’t even say sorry,” said Chavi.
“A pure moron” Niti flattered her.
After fifteen minutes as the trio waited for their orders which Imlie ordered at the counter, Chavi was still struggling to get that bracelet out of her sleeve. Imlie was trying to help her when Imlie noticed the bracelet was a customized one that was made with platinum.
“S, A, M” Chavi read the hanging alphabets on the bracelet.
“Oh, Sam must be the guy’s name,” Niti uttered, realizing it.
“Sam or Pam, I will be the vamp in his life if we ever meet next time” Chavi said with determination.
“Guys…” Imlie uttered softly.
Niti’s and Chavi’s attention went to Imlie.
“I think the bracelet is made with white gold…” said Imlie. Imlie was quite familiar with platinum as her engagement ring was made with it in her last life.
“Are you crazy?” asked Niti.
“What’s white gold?” asked Chavi.
“White gold is platinum and it's more costly than gold,” said Niti.
“Costlier than gold? Then why did that guy not care about it?” asked Chavi.
“He is definitely rich, he was wearing high end clothes” explained Imlie.
“You are too observant Imlie” said Niti.
“I was called the ‘Hawk Eye’” said Imlie.
“When?” Niti enquired.
“In my last life” replied Imlie.
“Don’t bluff Miss” said Niti
“I ain’t bluffin” replied Imlie.
“Both of you stop and help me untangle this costly trash which ruined my sleeve,” said Chavi seriously.
“Yes ma’am” replied Imlie and Niti.
They ate there and went to a jewelry shop to verify the bracelet which really turned out to be made of platinum. Chavi kept it in her purse as Imlie said she should keep it with her either as an emergency fund or as a memoir of how her kameez was ruined by a rich guy. Chavi kept it and they went to a big book store where second hand books were available. Chavi wanted to save money at any cost. Imlie and Niti decided to be dependent on the library for their exams.
As they were searching for books for Chavi, suddenly a shiny book attracted Imlie. She took out the book from the stack and saw the title of the book, ‘Goddess Sita’s Blessing’. Imlie went through the pages, she could see there were lines written in Sanskrit but she could read none. The more she focused on reading, she was unable to grasp what’s written on the page. She could see the blurry letters. She poked Niti’s shoulder.
“What Imlie? Don't disturb me...” Niti looked at her annoyed, she got a 'tinkle' comic book in the stack and was reading it while Chavi was picking up books for herself.
“Look here in this book,” said Imlie.
“What’s there? It’s called ‘Goddess Sita’s Blessing’. What a gallant name for a book title.”
Imlie opened a page and asked, “Can you read a single sentence from here?”
“Why would I not be able to read? I had ‘Sanskrit’ as a subject in my school” Niti took the book from Imlie’s hand. But when she tried to read even she was unable to grasp what was written on the pages.
“Phat the wuck! Why can’t I read a single letter?” exclaimed Niti, surprised.
“It’s what the f*ck” Imlie corrected her.
“I don’t want to curse in public Imlie…”
“Oh, okay”
Imlie called the boy who was working in the shop.
“Bhai(brother), can you read this?” asked Imlie.
He looked at the page which Imlie was pointing out and then looked at her face.
“What’s wrong with you ma’am? You are telling me to read an empty page” he said with an annoyed expression.
Imlie and Niti looked at the page again confused. They could clearly see sentences in them.
“Are you sure you see nothing in this book?” asked Niti for cross checking.
“Yes, also this seems to be a notebook rather than a book. Please don’t waste my time with your pranks. I have work to do,” they guy left saying this.
“What the hell?” retorted Niti.
“Chavi…” Imlie called Chavi who was upstairs with the shopkeeper finding her required books.
“Yes” Chavi came down.
“Could you see the words written on this page?” asked Imlie
“Yes, it’s written in Sanskrit,” replied Chavi.
Imlie and Niti looked at each other.
“Can you read them?” asked Niti.
Chavi came near and tried to read them but failed miserably.
Imlie went to the shopkeeper now. She showed him and he insisted that it was a notebook not a book. But what struck him oddly was that he never brought any bundle of notebooks to sell with that kind of cover. Also no brand name was mentioned on the notebook.
"Are you sure the pages are blank?" asked Imlie once again showing the book.
"But we can see sentences in Sanskrit," murmured Niti under her breath.
"Ma'am please don't joke, I don't see anything. And we never saw this book in our store before, it doesn’t even have a brand name on it," said the shopkeeper.
"Then I will take this. How much do I have to pay?" asked Imlie.
“Ma’am I guess I won’t sell it. Please take it for free”
“But…”
“It’s okay ma’am.”
“Okay”
The book titled 'Goddess Sita's Blessing' was found in the bookstore where they went to buy Chavi's books for college. The only thing they couldn't understand was the three of them were able to see the book filled with content but the shopkeeper and the others kept insisting that it was a blank notebook.
Imlie and Niti dropped Chavi at her College hostel and went back to their own hostel. After a whole day spent in such a fun way, Imlie looked at the things she bought today. The most attractive one from everything was the book called, ‘Goddess Sita’s Blessing’, its cover was shining gold and the pages didn't feel like printed. It was almost handwritten.
But Imlie didn’t get much time to explore it, so she went to have dinner with Niti in the hall when she checked her whatsapp. Aryan had put an airport picture of his mother and sister in his status. Imlie felt Arpita was the one who forced him to put this status. She smiled looking at it when she saw that even Aditya updated his status. She clicked and saw pictures of nature taken from the train during the day.
“One went to Mumbai, the other went to Himachal Pradesh… And from tomorrow my new life will start. My much awaited College Life. I am so excited for the new turns and twists that awaits me in the future. Sita Maiyya please keep an eye on me and bless me so that I do well in this life which you gave me at the expense of losing so much last time. In the end it’s better for me that’s the moral of the story”
“What are you whispering Imlie?” asked Niti as she washed her hands after eating.
“Nothing, let’s go back and sleep. Tomorrow a new phase of our life will start”
“Okay, let’s go…” replied Niti happily.

Another mind-blowing update. What a twist regarding 2 Aryan. 😳. In all timeline, Imlie loved both. She married Aryan Singh Rathore and broke duplicate Aryan's heart. It is so confusing. Loved the girls day out. I think Chaavi bumped into Sammy. The book part was interesting. Waiting for the epilogue 💞.
