A hope

“Aarav “Are you hearing me ?? Sunaina asked from another side of the calling 

Aarav normalised his tone once more and said “ yes, I’m here ..don't worry Sunaina I won't leave her to suffer more . She has already gone through lots of things for me in the past. I respect her promise , I respect her caring for her family. I support her decision , I’ll never break her promise, those words which she gave to her father “

“I’m sorry Aarav My motive wasn't to make you cry “ Sunaina said deducing the sobbing of him in phone 

“Hey, all right I’m not that shy, stupid, Aarav anymore , I changed, I have changed “ Aarav tried to make a fake smile while deep down he was exploding.

He talked with Sunaina for a few moments after that and disconnected the call. His friends were about to talk with him but he made a fake smile which all of them recognised ..Aarav said to them he was good and it was now 10:30 and he didn't want to return home tonight instead he was in a mood to visit at a night club he wanted to party the whole night, tonight he gave them words to throw a party so he would fulfill his promise.

Karan, Mishika, Radhika, and Deb glanced at each other, they were feeling bad, and helpless.

Aarav hadn't any sense tonight , nor was he able to stand up on his feet. Karan gave him support . it would be better if Aarav returned home tonight if he returned nevertheless his parents would be under lot of shame and their neighbour again would get topics for their kitty parties .  Deb told them his parents won't be at home tonight so he took Aarav with him to his house.

Karan dropped everyone at their home , the last person was Mishika .

The next day, Aarav woke up late in the morning, his head was aching in pain. He didn't remember how he came to Deb's house  .

“Good morning! Deb came with two cups of coffee and took a seat on a chair near his bed .

“Deb, how I came…here"" 

Deb smiled a little and handed Aarav the coffee and said “ I took you here reason you know very clearly …it’s your parents as you have already gone through this situation in past “

Aarav looked at Deb for a while as if he was examining him then he peeked into the coffee. “ Thanks, bro, I just love your coffee…I think one day you will open your own coffee Caffe “ he gave a wink to Deb

Deb understood how he changed the topics “ You love her so much Last night , witnessed that “ Deb said while sipping the coffee 

“Who?”” Aarav asked as if he was an Alzheimer's patient

“The person whose name you take 113 times last night while sleeping in my room on the verge of drunken  “

Aarav glared at Deb  and laugh "Now I understand why you're the topper during college, you're a great observer" 

Deb smiled gently “Don’t worry, My Mom’s used to say to me if you wish for anything from your heart and soul and do tough work to get it in your life, God will never upset you “

Aarav started to laugh “ You Mama’s good boy ….you said that as if God is your Aladin ka Chirag so he will full fill any three wishes of yours “

“But your three wishes are Anamika, Anamika, and Anamika…am I right “

“Deb please, you know what Sunaina said last night “

“I knew and I remembered that too but I don’t know why my instinct said that things will change now may be ..there will be some miracle “

“Deb doesn’t give me false hope …I stop believing in miracles…in fact, my life become a joke “ Aarav chuckled 

Deb looked at Aarav and was about to whispered but Aarav interrupted him.

Here from last night, Mishika couldn't restrain her thinking since the last night, she shared her talks with her boyfriend who knew about the Aarav case before. He gave her a suggestion to tell her friend to forget the girl and move on.

But Mihsika’s heart wasn't ready to accept,   she thought to help Aarav at any cost for the one last time.

Suddenly she got an idea, as soon as she dialled the mobile number of a person .

It was 1:00 in the afternoon, Mishika was in a cab, she recalled the conversion of how she got the number of Sunaina from Karan who at first hesitate and made her understand but she was too adamant on her decision and convince Karan all she was doing for the sake of Aarav.

Mishika called Sunaina and told her everything, Sunaina was too denied in the first place but when she told and explained her plan Sunaina was too startled to grow a flicker of hope.

Mishika came out of the cab which was halted in front of a large software company. It was lunch break and she knew that's why it would be an appropriate time to meet as she concluded. She took her steps with the wish that anything positive would arrive.
