Chapter 17: LIFE IS WORTH LIVING
Well I am out with my family and friends this weekend hence I will be updating this chapter in tits and bits, little by little. Sorry for the inconvenience...

CHAPTER-17
Life is Worth Living(Justin Bieber) Language: English
Ended up on a crossroad
Try to figure out which way to go
It's like you're stuck on a treadmill
Running in the same place
You got your hazard lights on now
Hoping that somebody would slow down
Praying for a miracle
Who'll show you grace?
Had a couple dollars and a quarter tank of gas
With a long journey ahead
Seen a truck pull over
God sent an angel to help you out
He gave you direction
Showed you how to read a map
With a long journey ahead
Said it ain't over
Oh, even in the midst of doubt
Life is worth living
Life is worth living, so live another day
The meaning of forgiveness
People make mistakes, doesn't mean you have to give in
Life is worth living again
Relationship on a ski slope
Avalanche comin' down slow
Do we have enough time to salvage this love?
Feels like a blizzard in April
'Cause my heart is just that cold
Skating on thin ice
But it's strong enough to hold us up
Seen her scream and holler
Put us both on blast
Tearing each other down
When I thought it was over
God sent us an angel to help us out
He gave us direction, showed us how to make it last
For that long journey ahead
Said it ain't ever over
Oh, even in the midst of doubt
Life is worth living
Life is worth living, so live another day
The meaning of forgiveness
People make mistakes, doesn't mean you have to give in
Life is worth living again
Life is worth living again
What I get from my reflection
Is a different perception
From what the world may see
They try to crucify me
I ain't perfect, won't deny
My reputation's on the line
So I'm working on a better me
Life is worth living
Life is worth living, so live another day
The meaning of forgiveness
People make mistakes
Only God can judge me
Life is worth living again
Another day
Life is worth living again
LIFE IS WORTH LIVING
“Niti '' exclaimed Imlie.
“Welcome back Imlie madam. You can call Harshit to tell you are in Pagdandia and only text me to send an important email to him. From the last twenty four hours you didn’t call me for once you idiot” said Niti and tried to attack Imlie with the broom.
“Oye, I am sorry Niti ma’am…Hey don’t beat me with the broom” pleaded Imlie.
“Today is you versus I. And I declare a war for ignoring me” said Niti pointing the broom tip towards Imlie.
“I am dead! She is really angry” muttered Imlie under her breath.
“Oh! You definitely are,” Niti hit Imlie twice as she said this and Imlie ran and jumped on her single bed.
“You crazy girl…” Imlie retorted.
“Crazy? Yes I am crazy…I dragged those mattresses upstairs and washed your clothes but you called that good-for-nothing Harshit Khurana in my place.”
“Yaar(Friend), he was important for arrest the murderers”
“Murderers?”
“Yes”
“What murderers? Weren’t you there to convince the villagers to nullify that girl’s marriage and let her study here?” asked Niti, dropping the broom on the floor.
“Actually that was the aim but things seem to never go the way I want” replied Imlie as she remembered Aryan and her family getting kidnapped during the terrorist attack and now Chavi had a murder attempt on her by her own parents. Harshit had already gave the message that when the police went to arrest Chavi’s mother they found many bottles of rat poison in the kitchen where it should not be kept. As Imlie said them to investigate more as the bottles have a story the Chautaalgarh police found the bottles were bought with the excuse of rodents attacking the granary but when they forced Chavi’s mother she confessed that it was to poison Chavi. First was the plan to weaken Chavi’s immune system with those poison and then to kill her with wrong medicines.
Imlie explained Niti what happened in the village. But when she was done with Chandra and Shekhar story and was almost to the end with the explanation how Chandrakala died Niti stopped Imlie.
“Imlie I think you should first hurry, we would have time to talk about this later. You said you had to meet Aryan in the park as you missed yesterday” Niti said this as she grabbed the corner of the study table as hard as she could. She hid this action of hers behind her back and tried to stay calm in front of Imlie.
“Did I?”
Niti showed Imlie her own message, ‘Niti, I will return by five today as I have to meet Aryan in the park. Yesterday also I missed the opportunity to meet him’
“Hey Sita Maiyya, how could I forget about this? Niti I need to run” Imlie said rushed out keeping her luggage on the ground. She just carried her purse with her.
As Imlie went out Niti left the table and started breathing hard, she trembled and fell down but somehow grabbing the corner of her bed she made her way to the cupboard. Her eyes were turning gray, she was having a panic attack. She took the pills hastily and sat down on the floor after gulping them with water that was in the bottle. She slowly pulled down her top off her right shoulder making her shoulder blade visible, a tape was stuck over her shoulder blade. She pulled that tape out and hit that place for twice or thrice with her left fist and laid on the ground crying. Though she couldn’t see the tattooed name on her back clearly but she knew what kind of nightmare it was, she sat up and tore off some breathable tattoo hiding tape and hid the tattoo. That name gives her nightmare, ‘Sahdev Modi’. Natasha Joshi aka Niti Sharma was drowning in her nightmare again and if she couldn’t overcome her fears soon there’s a high possibility that she may end up in a mental asylum. That’s what the doctor warned her while giving those medicines which she could only buy every time she gave a fresh prescription to the medicine sellers.
Aryan sat in the park for an hour, he was just being kind enough holding onto Imlie’s earring to return it back to her.
‘Did I just waste my time? After all, I was just trying to entertain some teen's shenanigans.’ thought Aryan when a disposable plastic cup with lid popped up from behind, it was filled with fruit juice and a hand was holding it. He looked to his right when Imlie gave a bright smile to him and said, “For you”
“You are late,” he said.
“ Sorry”
Imlie handed his cup to him and sat on the bench sipping juice from her cup with the straw that came with juice.
“What’s the occasion?” Aryan asked.
“I was hungry” Imlie replied.
“Juice for empty stomach”
“I got some protein bars too and the juice has no sugar in it, I requested the barista to exchange it with stevia”
“Health conscious?”
“Since I am a gym person, indeed I am a little conscious but not completely a diet person. It’s hard to maintain living in hostel”
“Oh, you sure are interesting as someone from a village,” said Aryan.
Imlie thought for a while and asked, “Are villagers not interesting for city people?”
“I think you guys change too soon once you step in the city but it's good at the end of the day it somehow sums up the line; survival of the fittest. Since I am an employer and employ many people I can introduce to the reality that most of my employees are actually from villages.”
“But people say city people discriminate against people from villages,” said Imlie thinking about Madhav how he was not given a job easily for being a villager before her time travel.
“Actually it’s a foolish thing to say, many villagers are really privileged. They send their boys to study in cities and the next generation gets a job here and settle with their families. Most of my employees said their real home actually is in villages because they keep on visiting during festivals”
“I guess there’s some truth in it as people say they actually move out for studies or jobs and many women just shift with their spouses. Also in India almost 78 million people migrated from rural to urban according to 2011 Census”
“You are knowledgeable, talking about Census data”
“My study field is the reason”
“What’s your field of study?”
“I have enrolled for BJMC(Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication)”
“Tough subject”
“Not much if you find the course interesting and appealing”
“Yeah, that’s the truth about every field of study indeed. By the way, can I ask you something?”
“Definitely”
“What does finding a ground in a relationship mean? That day my sister was saying something like that, she was conscious that I might fall in love with anyone and that person won’t find a personal ground with my family which will create chaos”
Imlie was surprised to hear Arpita’s worries and blurted out suddenly, “Is falling in love that easy?”
“She had a love marriage so she might think that way maybe…”
“Then maybe that is because the balance deficit we see in relationships generally all over the world, like insecure mother, wife, girlfriend, sister or even daughter”
“What?” Aryan was confused with Imlie’s statement.
“It's common a guy's mother getting insecure when their son gets married, Accha(okay) I will explain but you need to promise me you will fulfill one of my wish if I explain”
“Give and take method”
Imlie nodded her head as a ‘Yes’.
“Okay I promise”
“So, a relationship consists of interactions, comforts and exchanging of ideologies as well as philosophies”
“Indeed”
“Now if you fall in love with someone, you will share your life, opinions, and also interact at every moment of your life if you marry that person someday. The reason is very simple, you will have a ground where you and that person will share each other’s comfort space and try to find a mutual ground for yourself and will try to make your relationship work at every cost. Both of you might know the likes and dislikes of each other but in India that ground is not just important for the husband and wife but also with the in-laws as most girls would stay in between them. In your case if that person I mean your future wife doesn’t know the inspirations or views or aspirations of your family members, it would be impossible for her to create a personal bonding with them. When she wouldn’t have an independent bonding with the family members it would have ground for dislikes and misunderstandings in general.”
“So you mean my spouse should have her own set of relationships with my sister and mother. But if I marry her she would be connected to the family in any way. Why won’t my mother like the girl I like?”
“Is it taken for granted that if you like that person I have to like that person too? It’s just even if I don’t like I need to make it work and not voice out my dislike verbally”
“You mean there are…”
“More than 70% of the families work that way” replied Imlie.
Suddenly Imlie realized she herself didn’t put much effort with Narmada to make an independent bonding with her. Indirectly the words she was preaching was something she never applied. She was always the son’s wife and the key to cure her children for Narmada unfortunately. If Imlie removed Aryan or Arpita from the conversation she would have nothing to talk about with Narmada. Even if she tried to convince with the household chores, that was something she could do after Aryan married her. Her whole existence was through Aryan but not as an independent human for her mother in law.
‘I didn’t do what I am preaching right now’ thought Imlie as her conscience hit her hard.
“Why are you suddenly so silent?” asked Aryan.
“No, I just remembered something” replied Imlie coming out of her thoughts.
The feeling was absolutely bizarre when she understood even with Arpita her bonding was someone who just gave, she never took back anything making Arpita to consider her as the reflection of kindness. And whenever Imlie tried to show her selfish side as a human she was met with questions like she was not behaving how she should. She remembered how Arpita furiously described her as a woman who is selfish and self-centered when she and Aryan decided to not have kids after the unsuccessful attempts to have babies for three years. She said Imlie was trying to snatch the joy of being a father from Aryan and though Narmada never knew about this, she was never accepting towards Imlie after her marriage.
“Here, your earring” Aryan forwarded his hand to return her earring.
“You can keep it else how will we meet?” said Imlie.
“We can’t meet even if we want”
“Why?”
“I am returning back to Mumbai with my family, the day after tomorrow”
“Mumbai?”
“I am actually from Mumbai, we were here for some personal reasons”
“So, you will be leaving this Sunday?” asked Imlie taking her earring back.
“I will actually” replied Aryan.
Imlie thought for a while, she was sure he would return back to Delhi to buy Bhaskar times hence decided not to ask about his return.
“Well then what about my wish?” asked Imlie.
“Hmm, since I understood what my sister meant about finding a common ground I would fulfill your wish. What’s your wish?”
“I want to go on a date with you tomorrow”
“Date with me? I thought we were kind of friends”
“Aryan Singh Rathore, I am not your friend” said Imlie with a calm but determined voice.
He went silent for a while and then asked, “Fancy candle light dinner?”
“No”
“Then…”
“Give me your whole day. And we will spent the day the way i like”
“Okay”
“Pick me up at the City College entrance tomorrow at eight in the morning. And your next twelve hours will be mine, get over with your office work by today”
“Are you ordering me?”
“I am actually…”
Aryan gave a slant smile, turned around and said, “Let’s go back. I can drop you today too”
Imlie stood up, pulling her salwar which crunched while sitting on the bench and said, “No need, I have to buy something and my College isn’t so far from here”
“Oh, you are a straightforward person”
"Actually I am"
They both started walking to the entrance of the gate. Suddenly Imlie felt like someone watching them when Aryan called, “I forgot to ask why did you not come yesterday…Imlie?”
Aryan noticed she was a little behind and looking at the bush area of the park, he called her again, “Imlie”
“Ah yes”
“Let’s go, what are you doing there... just staring blankly?”
“Oh nothing, what were you asking?”
“You didn’t come to meet yesterday”
“Oh I was taking a nap at that time and forgot to set the alarm. The very reason I was late today too” Imlie lied neatly.
“Oh” exclaimed Aryan.
“By the way; the juice was good, right?” asked Imlie changing the topic.
“Yes. Where did you buy it? I will buy too for my family”
“The café near the park’s entrance. Their menu is too good”
“Just the menu?”
“No, even the barista is quite handsome”
“Handsome?” Aryan looked at Imlie with the corner of his eyes.
“Not more handsome than you.” Imlie said with a smile as she noticed Aryan’s eyes on her.
“Now, I definitely need to warn that guy that there’s a pervert on the run aiming for handsome faces”
“Haha, are you attacking me personally?”
“What if I am?” Aryan said, smirking.
Both of them went out of the park, Aryan bought pastries and latte for his family in the café and Imlie bought a piece of pastry for Niti. She deserved compensation for the ignorance Imlie showed her and made her angry according to Imlie. Aryan left in his car and Imlie made her way to a shop to buy a dress and a pair of heels for the date with Aryan.
Chavi met her new roommate Atifa Khan when she entered her hostel. Life is so strange sometimes it changes close people to strangers and then introduces new strangers as someone who will be known after an exchange of greeting. Her parents whom she used to think as her protection shield tried to get rid of her and Imlie who was nothing more than a random acquaintance had become someone whom she could trust blindly. Even Aditya whom she didn’t know before two weeks felt safer than her own parents.
As she was organizing her clothes Atifa came inside the room from somewhere and informed her that the warden was calling her. Chavi thanked Atifa for informing her and made her way to the hostel warden’s office only to find it was Aditya who called her.
“Hello”
“Hello Chavi, was there any problem during the journey?”
“No Aditya, I reached perfectly fine. Imlie dropped me but from where did you get the hostel’s number?”
“Oh. One of my friend’s wife is a professor in your College. I almost pestered her for the number of your hostel”
“Haha. you were successful to get the number. I see, but have you called just to know about my well being?”
“No, actually I will pick you up at 8:00 am tomorrow morning for the annulment of our marriage and yes, Maa wants to say you something…Please talk with her”
“But…”
Aparna took the cell phone from Aditya and said, “Chavi beta, I am sorry. I am sorry for the way I behaved, I am sorry for mistreating you and I am extremely sorry for looking down at you. I was so blinded that I didn’t notice the unjustified behavior I did with you.”
“No aunty…It’s okay”
“I heard what happened to you, I know I shouldn’t be forgiven that easily but I hope you would like to give me a chance at least. Tomorrow please have lunch with us”
“Aunty that’s…”
“Please don’t say no, I neither have been kind towards you nor behaved like a person with morals. At least I want to atone what I did with you. Please give us a chance…Please”
“Okay, I will visit tomorrow”
“Beta can you tell me your favorite dishes I will make them for you”
“Please don’t overburden yourself with my likes aunty, I am okay with any kind of food after all it’s a blessing of Devi Annapurna(Goddess of Food)”
“Thank you so much, Beta for giving this chance”
“It’s my pleasure aunty”
Aditya took the cell phone from Aparna who left the room with a smile of satisfaction. She was trying to make up for her mistakes and she was glad she understood what was wrong before much time had passed.
“Hello Chavi”
“Your mother…”
“Baba(Father) said she understood what she did wrong after you left for Pagdandia.”
“Oh”
“Also, tomorrow we will buy a cell phone and laptop for you. Do you have a bank account yet?”
“No but help from you is something I guess I shouldn’t take”
“Chavi, you need someone to back you up. With your parents in jail and tomorrow with the annulment of our marriage it will be hard for you to live the life”
“You are right about that but still…”
“Just consider it as a loan and you could return me anytime when you start earning money”
“Then okay, I will return you the money when I earn”
“Then it’s fixed till the day you stand on your feet I will take care of you. Just consider me as a friend”
“Haha, a friend in need is a friend indeed. Both you and Imlie are doing so much for me”
“Don’t overburden yourself Chavi, both I and Imlie are not the type who would like to see you feel burdened by helping you”
“I know both of you are the most genuine person. Thank you Aditya”
“Try to lean on me, I will be the wall you can easily lean on as a big brother and a friend. Remember how cutely you called me Dada(brother) the first time we met and you were chosen as my guide to explore the village.”
“Haha, yes though it’s been only two weeks it feels like ages”
“Now take care, see you tomorrow morning”
“Definitely dada, see you tomorrow”
“Haha, good night”
“Good night”
As Chavi was returning to her room with a smile written all over her face she exclaimed, “At last the life I want, I will start living it”
"Hello"
"Hello Sir, I just followed Aryan Singh Rathore. As always he went to the park and met a girl."
"Listen, Sir said the Killer has landed in Delhi today. Does Aryan have any plans for tomorrow? The killer would only stay in Delhi for one day"
"He has a date with the girl tomorrow. She seems to be a student of City College"
"Okay, the money will be transferred to your account."
"Thank you Sir"
As Ashutosh Rana cut his call he smiled and exclaimed, "This time you won't survive Aryan Singh Rathore. You dared to steal my deals but you don't know who is aiming for your life. Enjoy with that College chick for now, tomorrow is the last day of your life. Mr. Singhania won’t leave you at all"
Imlie was done with her dinner when Niti went for a walk to give Imlie a little privacy. Imlie dressed up in her black hoodies, mask and spectacles; the regular Khatti avatar. She had already emailed the CEO of Delhi News Mrs. Indira Ahuja and she wanted to hold an emergency meeting with Imlie; they decided to have the meeting on Skype. Imlie took Niti’s laptop and sat on the bed. The background of her was the white wall of the room making her surrounding handicap enough not to give up her location.
“Miss I”
“Yes, Mrs. Ahuja”
“I read the email, from the way you gave the content and the proof you seem to find out that even we are facing a little controversy for targeting Aditya and Bhaskar Times intentionally. Also the news of the past murders found by the police”
“Yes, I think someone intentionally tweeted that you couldn’t handle Aditya’s rejection and said Delhi News CEO is just spreading toxicity with her feminist ego which was hurt twelve years back”
“You tried to frame it in a way that doesn’t disrespect me much but the words the men are using in social media are very disturbing. The only thing that was good about the whole incident was the rise in TRP of our channel”
“Mrs. Ahuja, I am sorry to say but the rise of internet users has also raised the number of toxic users and also they belong to every gender present on this planet. They don’t entertain themselves with information rather feel more entertained pulling others down. Also ‘Feminism’ and ‘Feminist’ terms are becoming quite controversial these days. Leaving that, let’s use this method to restore back”
“This would completely remove the controversy and to be honest their engagement had proved quite worthy for us as more and more people are coming to know about Delhi News.”
“Well Aditya Kumar Tripathi is the most talked person right now in North India so the news of him marrying Chavi Kumari on gunpoint, not only it will restore back his fame but if Delhi News features it first then the controversy will end up without any need of an explanation”
“Let’s set the deal then, how much should we settle for?”
“Five Lakhs”
“Won’t it be too much?”
“If I say they are signing the annulment papers of their marriage tomorrow and I know where they will do it, what would be your choice of words then?” asked Imlie.
“Miss I, you are a shrewd person when it comes to business”
“Haha, Am I?”
“Would you like to work for us? We won’t even look at your profile and would be okay if you want to stay anonymous.”
“Mrs. Ahuja, I am extremely thankful that you want to give me a job and okay with me hiding my identity but right now I am not interested in working. I kind of like the independent way I am living but I am grateful enough that you wanted to gave me the job offer”
“My bad I guess that nothing can be done but I hope we will keep working together in the future too”
“Definitely”
“Goodnight Miss I”
“Goodnight Mrs. Ahuja”
As it was midnight in India, half of the population had already dedicated themselves in the hands of slumber; Sweden was striking its clock at 8:30 pm.
In a deserted big room in a wooden bungalow in Sweden, a guy held a glass of Scotch and took a sip as he surfed through the articles of Aryan Singh Rathore sitting on a sofa chair.
"Soon you will be out of this world. Who said we both can exist together? It's either you or me. Even the Singhania's are thirsty for your life, I don’t need to do anything at all to endanger your life."
As he looked up at the circular mirror hanging on the wall for decoration, his reflection was visible. His face was none other than Aryan's, he had the carbon copied face of Aryan Singh Rathore as if he was Aryan himself. Those same beautiful lotus shaped eyes and buffed up chest muscles, his shirt sleeves hugged his biceps making them look ravishing in any straight woman's eyes. Two of his shirt buttons were open making his clean chest peek in between them. The stubble on his face enhanced his masculinity and his eye brows defined his personality. He had a serious face but the Adam apple visible on his throat could make any girl thirsty. He looked at the mirror and gave an evil smile.
He exclaimed, "It's you or me...do you understand Aryan Singh Rathore?"
He kept the glass on the table when a blonde lady knocked on the door.
“Yes,” he replied.
“Sir, the dinner is ready”
“Martha I am coming down to eat, it’s almost nine you should leave for your home. Your son must be waiting for you”
“Thank you Aryan Sir”
“Also take a piece of dessert the chef made for today’s dinner”
“Sir?”
“I know your son likes dessert a lot”
“Thank you so much Sir”
Martha went to the kitchen and called Robert who was the chef there.
“Martha, here’s the dessert for your son”
“How did you know I was here for dessert?”
“Aryan Sir had already instructed me to pack the Swedish Cheesecake for your son tonight. He said he remembered how fond of cheesecake Jamie was the last time you brought him here”
“He is a kind soul indeed. Hope he gets to have his own family soon, he is so well behaved and a pure gentleman”
“Indeed Aryan Sir is the best”
The next morning started with Harshit and Sushmita meeting for the first time. It was a little awkward for Harshit as well as Sushmita as he was doing so much for her. He came to visit her before going to his office.
“Hello myself Harshit Khurana” he introduced himself awkwardly.
“Hello, myself Sushmita. I can’t thank you enough for what you did for me”
“No, please don’t thank me. You should be thankful to Imlie, she is actually the one who is taking all your expenses. I just did what she requested me to do”
“That girl is doing so much after calling me her family, I don’t even know how she is earning her money for all these. She belongs to the poorest section of the village actually. I guess I am just burdening her up”
“No, please don’t feel that way Sushmita ji. She has her own way to earn money and I can guarantee as a police she isn’t doing any kind of illegal work”
“Thank you so much for assuring me Mr. Harshit”
“Please call me Harshit, I am younger than you”
“Thank you for showing such a humble behavior to a person like me”
“Please don’t say this and get well soon. Imlie will visit you next week and she told me to give you this”
“What is it?”
Sushmita opened up the packet and saw a box, it contained a smartphone.
“My god that girl is just wasting money” Sushmita exclaimed.
“No, Sushmita ji. Since she is the one who is taking care of you and now is your family, you have all the rights to stay in contact with your sister.”
Sushmita switched on the smartphone, Harshit messaged Imlie from his mobile and after a few minutes Sushmita’s new phone rang with all its might. The screen flashed the name ‘Cutie Behen(sister)’, Sushmita looked at Harshit and he said, “Imlie”
Sushmita picked up the call, “Hello”
“Hello Sush di, your cutie sister is calling you”
“Imlie…”
“First wish me a huge luck”
“Why?”
“I have a date today that too with the guy on whom I have a big crush. Your sister needs loads of good luck from you”
“You found a crush so soon”
“Yes, so wish me luck”
“I wish you best of luck my cutie sis”
“That’s like my Sush di, now listen, don't think too much about the hospital payment or anything. Get your treatment well and I will take the best care of you. If you find any kind of problem just call me, I will solve it for you”
“Thank you Imlu” said Sushmita as tears rolled down her cheeks. Harshit kept his hand on her shoulder to show her his support and she deserves everything Imlie is doing for her.
As Imlie cut her call she looked at the small hand mirror. She put a coat of mascara on her eyelashes which she grabbed from Niti’s vanity. Imlie picked up the white dress and the pair of heels she bought while coming back from the park after meeting Aryan last night. Today is the day for fun, a day to enjoy with the guy she likes, Aryan Singh Rathore.
“Aish, look at this girl. Love struck crazy idiot”
“Niti stop cursing me”
“Why should I not? Primer is mine, foundation is mine, concealer is mine, eyeshadow is mine, setting powder is mine and every freaking thing on your face is mine. Why can’t I curse you?”
“Oye, from which angle you saw me putting foundation and concealer. Our shades don’t even match you bitch”
“Wahhh, two days of friendship and you're already calling me bitch, you wench”
“Look, you should spare your items for your friend, especially that…”
“No no no, don’t you dare take the name of my M.A.C lipstick”
“I was about to use the affordable nude lipstick but you just increased my greediness, now it’s M.A.C or none” replied Imlie.
Niti tried to snatch the vanity bag from Imlie’s hand.
“You moron, you ignore me and then you want my costly lipstick” said Niti.
“Haha, who fed you that big piece of pastry yesterday. Amma says it right, people forgets everything once it goes down their throat”
“Oh, then my Mousi says the correct thing too, people forgets once one is out of eyesight.”
“Niti, prove your friendship”
“Aha as if you would stop if I say I won’t give you and I don't want to prove my friendship”
“Don’t challenge me you idiot”
“I challenge you stupid tamarind”
After half an hour Imlie left the room dolled up in the best way with a victorious smile, Niti was just there sitting with her hair disheveled. She furiously moved her hands and legs in frustration as Imlie managed to get the lipstick from her. She was no match for Imlie, she angrily organized her vanity bag in frustration.
Chavi dressed up in a cotton anarkali kurti as today was a big day for her. Both Imlie and Chavi have a big day ahead.
On the other side Niti bought some snacks to munch on from the shops inside the College campus, took out her laptop and put on the wish listed Korean dramas. Today is the mourning day for her, the mourning day as she lost the challenge against Imlie and couldn't save her lipstick. She would munch up every frustration she had with each episode of the dramas she decided to watch.
