Chapter 1: " Meet- Cute" 

Khushi Kumari Gupta, was again late for work not because she was by any means careless, but because the traffic in their city never fails to frustrate her. Even if she starts 30 minutes earlier than required, she still gets stuck in traffic making it impossible for her to reach on time most days. 

But fortunately, she didn't have a mean boss. Akash Raizada, was the head of the Marketing Department and was known amongst everyone has the Perfect Boss, a typical Movie like hero with perfect amount of work ethic and charm.

Speaking of Hero, she was currently watching a TV serial in her mobile phone all the awhile willing the Cab to move faster, Khushi's trustworthy Scooty failed to start today which had been the reason for the Cab and since waiting in panic won't help anyone, she got her ear phones out and started to watch the TV show, her best friend Payal recommended. 

Khushi loves romance, but Office Romance was not her cup of tea, because well no one will just go and fall in love with their boss and have their happily ever after just like that, and she should know working in her company for four years, there wasn't a single office romance in her company. Not because it was strictly prohibited or something but who wanted to see the same face both in work and as well as home.

She didn't know how it would work either, "Can you give me the Quarterly report, and you look beautiful today " in a same sentence, it will be more like harassments then flirtation as far as she could see, but her friend's favorite serial which she recommended to Khushi with five hearts is set on such Romance. 

Well Khushi has to admit the Hero looked good in his suit. But when the first episode started with slow reveal of Hero getting out of his Ferrari and walking into the office, followed by slow reveal of Heroine running into the same office with voice over about her name and how much late she is to work, Khushi can't help but laugh at the plot introduction that remains the same for most TV shows. 

Then came the Elevator scene, where both of them get into it and where the only ones in the Lift, as if that was possible in her Office where all the lifts were full most of the time . 

From what the Female lead said in the voiceover this was her first day at work, and yet they both kept glancing at each other for over five minutes. When she dropped the papers in her hand and Khushi wondered where she got the papers if it was her first day at work and then the Male lead was picking the papers as he continued looking at her. 

And that was where the first episode ended and Khushi felt silly for wishing to open the next episode, but the welcoming sight of her office building made her realize it was sadly not possible. After paying for the Cab, she rushed into the office and got into the Elevator which was surprisingly empty probably because she was already 15 minutes late. Just when the door was about to close another person got in and Khushi realized that just few minutes ago she was claiming no such occurrence ever happened at work for her and yet here she was in the lift alone with her Boss's Boss aka Arnav Raizada CEO of Raizada industries. 

The two minutes it took to reach the 21st floor of their building was as Predictable as normal life, she greeted him with a Polite Good Morning Sir and he returned the greeting with a nod and that was about it. No weird glances, No papers flying everywhere and definitely no Romance Back Ground Music. 

As Khushi tucked her phone inside her hand bag, she felt a flicker of smile at the way her heart beat increased a little in the lift all because of the TV Serial. 

" This is Real life, not some TV show " she mentally gave herself a pep talk and focused on her work the rest of the day, Quarterly reports and Presentation don't magically appear just like a TV show after all .

Khushi texted her best friend that TV show was not her cup of tea few hours ago and yet here she was watching Episode 4 because in a way , it was bit entertaining even if highly illogical. 

So far, The Hero whose name is Karan had shouted at the Heroine whose name is Yashika about ten times, apparently Yashika is not only late but clumsy as well that she keeps colliding into Karan's chest every ten minutes. 

Khushi didn't like Karan at all , he was rather rude, but Khushi understood Yashika was indeed too clumsy and yet what she doesn't understand at all is why is the new intern and CEO of the company gets to meet this often. 

Khushi had seen her CEO Arnav in distance most days, but except the few occasion they had a meeting , Khushi had never met him up close like today and she rarely had any interaction with him except business related and polite greeting. But here Yashika was advising Karan on his rudeness and asking him to apologize and apparently it was enough to make Karan like her because he was smiling at the end. 

Khushi imagined shouting at her CEO, Arnav Singh Raizada who happened to be her immediate boss of Akash Raizada.  And realized it would end up with much worse consequences than a smile . 

" @kaaryasthalparpyaar : The liberty to just write anything , I was stuck in an Lift with my Handsome Boss but alas I had no papers to drop or Background music to make him look at me " Khushi typed a tweet and posted it after tagging the show official ID and the hashtags used by most before falling asleep. 

The next day, Her Scooty was fine after the trip to the Mechanic and so she was on time and had to be squashed between fifteen of her colleagues as she made her way to her office room. 

And then she saw the glimpse of her CEO and smiled that her Quota of seeing him this week was probably over, and focused on the numbers in the computer screen before her, after lunch there was a scheduled meeting which meant everyone were kind of nervous because in spite of it being routine. That is the place which decided to whether validate or reject your ideas. 

Everything may look good on Paper but once you are in that room, her colleague turn into the devil's advocate and would pick apart her plan sentence by sentence and today Khushi had one of her important presentation and she was nervous. 

She had the papers in hand and was rushing to get into the conference room to set everything first and give her few minutes to relax when she accidentally collided on a wall which turned to be a human named Arnav , her boss. 

And yes he did bend to pick up the papers for her and it only made her more nervous but fortunately, the presentation went smoothly and everyone liked it by the end that she had been looking forward to her weekend almost immediately. 

Just few more hours, and she could have two full days of break and she was happy and excited until she got a call from her mother which wasn't unusual as her mother tends to worry since Khushi was staying in a PG away from home. 

But another reality of life, you never get work just few meters away from home in reality. Sometimes it means different town and sometimes it means different states and country as well. 

And after assuring her mother she was fine, she ended the call only to see few notification from her social media account, Khushi had strict policy of not checking anything out of work related on office hours but it was Friday and she finished all the work for the day, so just a small glance won't hurt she imagined as she opened her twitter account and scrolled to the notification site. 

She got a new tweet from someone she wasn't following and it had been a reply to her tweet from last night , she was sure it was because of the hashtags until she read the tweet. 

" @KhushiKumariGupta12354 Handsome Am I ? " 

And just like that Khushi's head turned towards Arnav's office room and he was looking straight at her. 

What had she done, she mentally chastised herself, who uses their real name on a twitter account and write about their boss, Apparently her who works in a Marketing department and was in charge of online Promotion. 

Didn't she know how connected the world is and yet she tweeted about her boss and it took her few minutes to calm herself down stating she did absolutely nothing wrong. 

The tweet came from last night and she only checked it now, should she reply or not she thought for few more moments and decided silence was better than responding back. 

By the time she reached home, she forgot all about it until she saw few more notifications after dinner and found another tweet from him 

" @KhushiKumariGupta12354 Only Background Music left " 

The tweet stated and she remembered her paper incidence and felt like screaming in awkwardness , how utterly embarrassing. By the time she slept she decided it was maybe time to quit instead of seeing his face again. 

Khushi knew she won't do any of it , but at that moment she felt out of her element. She worked at the company for four years and she barely  knew Arnav Singh Raizada during the time. But she felt like everything changed between them and all it took was just two small tweets.
