                 Part – 48

Maan takes Geet to his room, it’s not new for Geet, she has been there before…

But now she feels thrilled to be entering as his wife… it’s always special when you know you belong to this man finally..

As Geet keeps following Maan closely Maan stops at the entrance itself…

Geet is little worried, isn’t he happy to welcome her in yet?

Maan knows how filmy Geet is and has often accompanied her watching those romantic films and TV series she is addicted to…

Maan likes to give her a taste of that fairytale romance, after all he could do that much for her….

Maan turns back and looks at Geet with a mischievous smile…

Geet doesn’t understand the reason behind that smile…

Before Geet could realize what’s happening Maan scoops her in his arms and takes her in to her pleasant surprise…

Maan goes in and stops… he just can’t take his eyes off her…

Geet looks embarrassed suddenly as they are in their room…. Even Maan feels awkward as they are in their own space and a lot of things are expected to be happening here between them as a newly wed couple… there is something about all this wedding rituals… they are not some meaningless drama like Maan thought… he didn’t try this with Sameera on the wedding day itself… she is not the fairytale types… actually both of them were too young and they were parents before they even became a married couple in the true sense… it’s all like a sweet dream that ended too soon…

It was a typical arranged marriage and their age was enough to keep them hooked…

But now Maan has matured a lot and maybe needs this kind of drama… Geet is the perfect spoil for him, still naïve and in her teens… she is 19… and also a hardcore romance fan… and definitely a drama queen..

Maan keeps admiring her..

Geet keeps looking into his love filled eyes for the first time… she is mesmerized..

Geet is feeling shy by the sudden change in the way Maan is looking at her…

She tries to turn away from his sight…

Maan comes back to his senses… he now regrets that it was a bad idea for he has unnecessarily aroused their feelings knowing very well that it’s just not what he wanted…

He puts her down immediately…

Geet steps back a little…

Maan: I just wanted this moment to be memorable for you Geet

Geet: I’m sure it has become memorable for you too, I’ll go take a quick shower, Dadima must be waiting for us

Maan goes and waits at his workstation outside…

Dadi has kept a beautiful saree for Geet to wear… dadi knows to get things done her way too .. she is MSK’s Dadima… Maan just inherited her qualities…

Geet ke paas aur koi dress bhi nahi hai… Sab OH mein hai…

Geet comes out wearing that…

Somehow the saree is the most versatile dress we Indians have invented…

It can make a woman divine as well as dangerous… a kanjeevaram saree easily makes you look divinely beautiful while a designer saree gives a different look . And it also depends on the onlookers point of view…

Here Maan is in a very tight situation, his heart yearns more while his brain keeps pulling the breaks…

Geet stops as Maan comes near her and stares her in admiration….

A gentle wind blows off her pallu, Geet tries to catch hold of it, but it’s already in Maan’s hands…

Maan inches closer as he brings her pallu and puts it back in place….

Maan traces her back with his long fingers as he puts the pallu around…

Geet freezes and it’s pretty hard for her to handle this Maan… she never knew there exists a lover boy inside Mr. Serious Khurana… he has deceived her all these days hiding behind the mature senior Khurana mask…. As if he is too old? Whom is he trying to fool? Any girl would die for him anyday… poor Geet is not an exception…

Maan realizes that he is inviting trouble not only for himself but also for Geet…. He would stop as and when he wishes but what about her? This is too bad Maan, starving her after giving a taste of what’s in store…

Maan: chalein Geet

Geet follows him pretty closely…

Maan turns back in a hurry… Geet is startled by that…

Maan: itna paas mat aao Geet, kuch kuch hota hai

(I can never forget this dialogue)

Geet steps back…

Geet: toh itna din kuch nahi hua kya?

Geet asks him in disbelief…

Maan: itna din toh sirf mujhe kuch kuch hota tha, par abhi toh lagta tumme bhi bahut kuch hota hai, toh mera haal aur bhura hotha haina

Geet feels shy that Maan has noticed her desperations… not good Geet…

Maan starts walking while Geet still hesitates… itna dhoor kaafi hai kya?

Maan smiles…. He doesn’t turn back but senses her dilemma…

Maan: itni dhoori hogi toh dadi ko shak ho jayega Geet, ab tum aa sakti ho

Geet moves closer…

They reach the dinning area where dadi is just waiting for them…
