              Part – 41

Geet is happy that finally she is Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana… nothing else matters to her now…

She won’t stay away from her husband, even if he is yet to accept her as his wife…

Maan realizes that it’s not possible to leave Geet here, he has to take her to Delhi along with him for sure…

And he is determined to keep her out of trouble at any cost, even if it will make her a little unhappy…. It’s better than getting her into any kind of trouble which is out of his control…

Maan lies down turning away from Geet which seems to be the right thing to do right now…

Geet knows that he is angry and she is not in any hurry… she just wants to be with him, she is happy that he decided to stay with her rather than leave…

Geet is ready to give him the time he wants, she finishes packing and goes and sleeps on the couch…

Maan has not slept yet, how could he sleep after deliberately keeping her away on their suhaag raat… he knows he is on the wrong side, he just hopes that everything is resolved quickly… he has to work even harder for that now….

Next day….

Geet bids farewell to her family and is happy to go to her home…

Dadi has already left for Delhi as she wanted to escape from Maan somehow… he is married and it’s upto him and his wife now….

Maan remains silent and Geet also doesn’t want to disturb him…

Maan needs time to come to terms with the surprise shadi…

Geet is still scared that Maan won’t forgive her for hiding everything from him…

The whole time Maan is thinking about him hurting Geet and Geet is thinking about her betraying him…

They don’t know what the other is going through and is worried about this sudden impasse in their relationship…

For the time being they are happy to be silent as this is such a time when their mind is out of order and any conversation would end up in meaningless drama and that would only harm their existing relationship, both of them believe what they did is for the sake of the other’s good and also accept that they may be wrong to some extent in hurting each other….

At KM…

Dadi has gone to take a rejuvenating break at the natural care center that was long due, she wants them to sort things alone… so she has gone to this place in dharmshala… she always goes there once in a year…

Geet goes to the OH while Maan goes to his room at the mansion….

They stay like strangers at KM…

Geet avoids going to the mansion while Maan too finds it easy to stay at a distance… That weekend Maan goes to Shimla as usual to see Mansi, Geet is disappointed that he didn’t take her along, but she understands that he has a problem to acknowledge the wedding, but why? That’s what is still a mystery for Geet…

Geet gets bored and decides to go to KC and meet her friends for a change…

Its Saturday, “Maan free day” as they call it, so everyone is at ease….

Geet goes and finds Pinky missing at the reception…

Geet knows where she would be, yes, at the canteen…

Adi is also with her….

Geet returns to her job as Maan’s personal secretary…

Pinky and Adi are happy to see her back… .

Pinky: Geet, toh tummare studies katam ho gaye? Ab tum nahi jaaogi na? I missed you very much

Pinky goes and hugs Geet…

Adi: welcome back Geet

Geet: I too missed KC, specially Maan sir

Geet feels funny while addressing Maan as “sir”…

Adi is surprised by her sudden liking for Maan sir….

There was always a cold war going on between Geet and Maan sir, and after it went to worse from bad, Geet stopped coming to KC… she left KC on bitter terms with Maan…

Anyways he is happy for Geet..

Geet spends the whole day with Pinky talking about what happened at KC while she was not there…

Next day they plan to go to a picture…

Geet tries to forget her worries for a while and clear her mind so that she can find some way out of this sudden drift between her and Maan..

Geet knows Maan has gone to see his daughter Mansi and would return a little happier after spending time with her…

Then they can start working out things…

Geet has to go back to KC to keep Maan reminding that she is here for him only…

Geet gets ready soon on Monday…

Maan has already got the news of her KC visit from Adi..

He is not against her coming to KC…

There he has no problem for she is just an employee… no one will have any doubts there…

As Geet comes Maan is having his breakfast…

Geet leaves with the driver as she could go before he stops her or questions her…

At KM….

Maan comes and finds Geet at her desk, he doesn’t get angry or ask her anything, he just tries to ignore her and concentrate on his work…

Geet tries to grab his attention by dropping the paperweight but Maan is stubborn…

Geet gets angry and decides that she will also maintain the distance…

But Maan stealthily keeps a watch on her and is happy to be with her again…

Both restrict their conversations as much as possible… .

Geet takes a dig at him by stressing the word “Sir”, every time she addresses him…

Maan can’t stop himself from admiring her childish rivalry…

This goes for a week…..
