Geet opens her eyes… she is in the out house…

Maan is sitting beside her…

She looks at Maan and smiles…

Geet: am I dreaming? Is it heaven? Maan Singh Khurana is here

Maan: stop it Geet, everything is a game for you

Geet: jokes apart, why did you save me?

Maan: I would have saved anyone in your place

Geet smiles…

Geet: I wouldn’t have ever done that if it were not you, I know for a fact that no one worries about me like you do, not even me

Maan: don’t ever try anything stupid like this hereafter, do you understand Geet?

Geet: hmm, I’m sorry, it was Dadi’s plan

Maan: what?

Geet: but it worked, I’m happy that you are always there for me even if I’m wrong

Maan: Geet, life is too precious to play with, not everyone is lucky enough to get a second chance

Geet laughs..

Maan: ok, you take rest

Geet catches hold of his hand and stops him…

Geet: you just said one must be lucky to get a second chance in life, then why are you denying yourself a second chance?

Maan keeps looking at her astonished…

Maan bends down.. she asks him to sit in front of her…

Maan sits and looks at her in suspicion…

Geet tries to get up and Maan helps her… he makes her sit comfortably by adjusting the pillow behind her back…

Geet keeps staring him…

Maan: tum teek toh haina?

Geet nods… hmmm

Geet: mere paas aao Maan

Maan gets a little closer…

Geet holds his shoulder and moves towards him…

Geet places a warm kiss on his lips…

Maan didn’t expect that, but he is only happy if this is what will make her happy… he won’t deny that he is also equally happy….

Geet: that was something I wanted to return you, now we are even

Geet smiles at him in desperation… she knows that he is under some kind of pressure…. Maybe it’s related to his past…

Maan keeps looking at her innocent smile…

He loses his control…

Maan bends over and takes her lips into his….

Geet hugs him tight… Maan is hesitant to hug her back…

Geet takes his hands and puts them around her back… she forces him to hug her back…

Maan hugs her overwhelmed with all the love that he has been holding back all the time…

Maan: why are you so sweet? You deserve to be happy Geet, you have a long beautiful future ahead

Geet: but you are my future

Maan: my future is decided, it is not easy as you think

Geet: I know

Maan: no, you don’t know

Geet: I don’t want to know, all I want is to be with you, I won’t ask for anything else, I promise

Maan: tum pura pagal ho gayi ho Geet

Geet: mujhe patha hai, aur mujhe kushi hai ki ye baat aap ko bhi samajh aagaya

Maan: ye koi mazak nahi hai Geet

Maan: mein tumme kaise samjhaoon Geet

Geet: mein sab samajh thi hoon, aap ko lagtha hai ki mein itna nasamajh hoon toh woh appki problem hai, meri nahi

Maan: kya samajh thi ho tum?

Geet looks deep into his eyes…

Geet: sab kuch

Maan: tum jaanthi ho ki mein tumme takleef mein nahi dekh saktha

Geet: mujhe koi takleef nahi hogi jab aap mere paas ho toh

Geet readily has a reply for all his gyaan…

Maan: I’m done with all this Geet, I can’t see you hurting yourself like this any longer, what do you want me to do to stop this torture?

Geet: mujhse shadi karlo

Maan goes into his deep thinking….

Geet keeps looking at him with her puppy eyes…

Maan: teek hai, if that is what will make you happy

Geet hugs him in excitement…

Geet: I love you Maan

Maan: par ek condition hai

Geet: I’m ready to accept anything for you

Maan: you would stay away from my past life, whatever happens you won’t have any rights to question

Geet: teek hai

Maan asks her come closer…

He kisses her forehead…

Maan: good night Geet

Geet: thanks Maan, you don’t have any idea how happy I’m

Geet is smiling happily…

Maan: I bet I would do anything for that smile

Geet: And I want to see you smile again

Maan tries to put up a fake smile…

Geet: abhi ke liye itna hi kaafi hai, I’m happy that you at least tried for me

Maan: finally you won

Geet: no, finally your love for me won, you were only competing with yourself

Maan wonders how Geet understands him so well, if only she knows the actual reason, would she be able to understand his situation…

No Maan, his mind warns him not to get carried away and share his problem with Geet, that’s what he has been avoiding, to put the pressure of his problem on her…

Maan smiles as if to agree with her…

Geet: pehle dadi ko ye good news dethi hoon

He called the doctor and the doctor confirmed that she is safe and it’s just the shock that her brain took, she will regain her consciousness soon and there is nothing to worry .

Still Maan kept talking to her and looked for her reactions…

Geet was responding to his voice subconsciously, Maan was checking constantly…

He even took the blame on himself for all this, while our wicked dadi maintained the secret….

Geet: I know, we already knew that once you save me then you can’t hide the truth

Maan: now that the truth is out, you two have to wait for the marriage until I’m ready

Geet tries to change his mood… why can’t he be happy like her and dadi? There is something bothering him…
