At Uncle’s place….

Aunty ji shows them the guest room…

Geet is holding Maan for he is still not able to stand on his feet ….

Maan holds Geet back and is thinking that he is the one who is steady and helping Geet out….

Maan: thank you for the drink Uncle, and happy anniversary night

Geet doesn’t know what that even means…. Maan is just blabbering in his tipsy state…

Geet: chalein?

Geet is not able to hold him for long…

Aunty: take him in beta, the old man will keep talking all night

Maan: tum pehle chalo

Geet takes him towards the bed…

She makes him sit there…

She bends down to help him take off his shoes…

Maan stops her by holding her shoulder…

He pulls her strongly and makes her sit beside him..

Maan: tum beitjao, mein karloonga

Maan himself removes his shoes off somehow…

Aunty knocks…

Geet tries to get up …

Maan holds her back by catching hold of her hand…

Maan: kahan jaa rahi ho?

Geet: koi aaya hai

Maan let’s her go reluctantly…

Aunty has got some clothes for Geet to change…

Aunty: sab teek hai na beta, koi problem ton nahi?

Geet: nahi Aunty, aap pareshaan mat ho, he is fine

Aunty: good night beta

Geet: good night aunty

Geet comes back and finds Maan waiting for her…

Geet: aap sojao, mein change karke aathi hoon

Maan lies down and closes his eyes…

Geet changes and lies down on the couch…

She couldn’t sleep… She keeps a watch on Maan…

Maan gets up and looks for Geet…

Geet goes to help him …

Geet: aap ko kuch chahiye?

Maan just keeps looking at her…

Geet: aap teek toh haina?

Maan doesn’t answer… he keeps staring her…

Geet doesn’t know what he wants…

Geet: aap pani piyoge?

So saying she tries to turn back to take the jug…

Maan stops her and pulls her closer…

Geet is scared… there is something wrong with the way Maan is looking at her…

Maybe it’s the booze…

Maan looks into her beautiful eyes…

Maan: I forgot something

Geet panics immediately…

She looks into eyes and asks in a feeble voice…

Geet: what?

Maan doesn’t say anything… he keeps looking into her eyes…

Geet is also looking into his eyes closely for the first time..

Maan always avoids making eye contact with her…

Maan’s eyes are filled with love and passion…

He has never looked at her like that…

Maybe he has mistaken her for someone else…

Maybe he is reminded of his past… he is mistaking her for Sameera….

Maan slowly pulls her closer as she starts shivering…

He places a warm kiss on her lips …

Geet just melts in his hands…

Maan: good night

Geet stands still while Maan goes back to sleep ruining poor Geet’s sleep tonight…

Geet gets back to the couch and watches him sleep peacefully as if he has fulfilled his longtime wish….

Geet has got a glimpse of his love for her from this… he has been in denial all the while for some reason…

Geet is now very confident that somewhere Maan too likes her the same way she likes him…

He too enjoys being with her but he won’t accept it ….

He too needs her whenever he feels too lonely, not having that special someone with whom he could at least share his feelings …

He may think that he doesn’t need anyone but he too is human and deserves all the love and affection that she is ready to shower on him ….

He can’t deny the fact that he’ll be happier if she is with him…

He can’t blame Geet for she just wants to give back whatever be has given her…

Geet didn’t seek anything from him, he is the one who volunteered to help her…

Geet is obviously impressed by his care and concern that she now wants to retain that for her lifetime…

Next morning…

Geet wakes up and goes down to see aunty…

Aunty is up and reading the paper….

Aunty: good morning beta

Geet: good morning

Aunty: hwz Maan?

Geet: he is still asleep

Aunty: hope he didn’t trouble you much last night

Geet: nahi, he slept then itself

Aunty: did you sleep?

Geet: haan, we should leave now, dadi would be worried

Aunty: I’ll ask the driver to drop you guys

Geet: I’ll go and tell him

Geet goes and finds that Maan is already in the washroom getting ready…

Geet waits for him…

Maan comes out…

Maan: chalein, I’m late for office already

Maan acts as if nothing happened last night….

Geet too pretends not to be affected….

Geet: app jao, mein tayaar hoke aathi hoon

Maan leaves…

Uncle is there waiting for him…

Uncle: morning young man, where’s your lady Love?

Maan: she is getting ready

Uncle: hwz our humble abode Maan

Maan: oh this place looks great

Uncle: all the credit goes to the Mrs

Aunty: it must, this old man would have built me a bunker of I had let him to

Uncle: you didn’t even ask for my suggestions

Aunty: b’coz I already knew how good they would be

Uncle: you don’t underestimate my choices, you are one of them

Aunty: you never had any choice, it’s my bad luck that I chose you

Maan: I can’t believe you two have made it this far

Uncle: we wouldn’t have made it without these banters, then life becomes boring

Aunty: that’s true

Geet just comes…

Uncle: you two are not far behind I think

Uncle has seen their hide and seek moments and also their love for each other….

Aunty: I wish that you also celebrate your 50th anniversary just like us and remember us then, will you remember us?

Geet: sure, I was thinking that you two should come and bless us at our wedding, will you?

Maan is shocked to hear that… this girl is insane….

Aunty: oh, our blessings will always be with you two

Geet hugs aunty and they take leave….

Geet looks little different now, Maan wonders what happened that made her so happy and full of confidence.. Maan doesn’t remember anything from last night… hope he didn’t do anything that would turn against himself….

Maan is little worried while Geet is not hiding her happiness….
