Next morning…

Dev comes to KC…

He goes to meet Dadi…

Dadi is surprised to see Dev…

Dev: halo darling, how are you?

Dadi: toh abhi aap ko hummari yaad aayi, shaithan

Dev: mein toh abhi abhi India aaya hoon

Dadi: I’m not talking to you, you didn’t invite me for your birthday party

Dev: I’m really sorry darling, I just forgot

Dev: I’ll come to celebrate your birthday, we’ll rock then

Dadi: you forgot about India all these days, it’s been almost two years na?

Dev goes to the terrace where Maan is working out…

Dev is Maan’s workout partner until he left for the US..

Maan is not surprised to see Dev…

Dev: haan

Maan is practicing tai chi…

Maan: come and join me

Dev changes to join Maan for a friendly face off…

Dev hasn’t been in touch for a long time…

Maan easily beats him…

Someone claps… it’s Geet with Maan’s protein drink…

Dev is pleasantly surprised to see Geet so soon…

Dev: good morning gorgeous

Geet: good morning

Geet keeps looking at Maan…

Dev: what’s that?

Geet comes to give the glass to Maan…

Dev grabs it from her hand…

Dev: I am the one defeated, I need this more than him

Maan laughs… : this won’t serve you any good, it takes a lot of hard work you know

Geet feels embarrassed after Maan left…

What is she doing with this half naked Salman’s dupe?

Geet: I just remember, I have to go meet Dadi

Geet follows Maan…

She goes and stops Maan…

Geet: what were you thinking when you left with that half naked guy?

Maan turns and looks back at himself….

Geet: you are different

Maan: I don’t think so, what’s wrong with me?

Maan pretends to be looking for that difference…

Geet: don’t act too smart, I don’t like all this

Maan: what did I do now?

Geet: I know you are avoiding me, you are scared

Maan: I’m not scared of you Geet

Maan gets closer…

Geet looks into his eyes…

Geet: I can see the fear in your eyes

Maan: don’t bluff, why would I be scared of you Geet? Tumme kab samajh mein aayega ki mujhe koi farak nahi padtha

Geet: I know you are not scared of me, but you must be scared of yourself, you can’t keep running away from your feelings forever like this

Maan: don’t talk rubbish, Maan Singh Khurana is not used to running away like you, it would be better if you start accepting the truth sooner

Maan turns and looks the other side…

Geet: truth? I get it now, you are scared of the truth, you are running away from the truth

Maan: your are the one scared of accepting the bitter truth

Geet: what truth?

Maan: that you never meant anything to me, and you will never ever mean anything to me, you don’t have any place in my life, you never had any

Geet: you are a big liar, why don’t you tell your truth looking into my eyes

Maan looks at her....

He is unable to make eye contact though…

Geet: what happened? Why did you stop?

Maan: why are you torturing me Geet? Is it my fault that I wanted to see you happy?

Geet: it is, even if I accept that I have no place in your life, what about the fact that you have become a part of every bit of my life, you can’t deny that na?

Maan: that’s your problem Geet, you have to let me go

Geet: why should I?

Maan: why don’t you understand the simple fact that my heart is already occupied, there is no place for you whatsoever

Geet: I know you don’t have much space left in your heart, I don’t want the space that is already occupied, I know you should have a teeny tiny bit of space left for yourself, I want a part of that bit, that’s more than enough for me

Maan: you don’t understand that there is nothing left for me as such which I can share with you

Maan just walks off saying that…

Geet keeps watching him leave…
