Nanaji has succeeded in making Geet think…

Now nanaji is up to his next move…

To get rid of that Dev once forever…

Nanaji has the opinion that Dev is still the problem for Geet…

But he is wrong, Maan is the problem for Geet, he is the one disturbing her the most these days…

Nanaji thinks that Dev is after Geet for her property…

Nanaji has about 40 acres of land and it’s meant to be given to his only daughter as a marriage gift..

Handas didn’t marry Ranno into their family for no reason…

But after seeing  the Handas hatred for the girl child, considering a girl  as a liability and only a boy as an asset, (wealth is added by a boy’s wedding and vice versa), he changed his mind…

The Handa home didn’t welcome Pari happily, but was consoling themselves that there is always the next time, but when Geet was born no body cared to come and even see their heir as she was also a girl…

From then on Geet stayed at Beas itself until her Nani passed away…

Nanaji then declared that his property belongs to his grand daughters only… 

Pari's wedding was fixed... 

History repeated and before Pari’s wedding, her in-laws wanted the share of her property to be changed to their beloved son’s name…

Then itself nanaji decided to tranfer Geet’s property on her name along with the other registration for he didn’t want to give it to the next damad…

Thus the property was transferred to Geet's name... 

When Geet was adamant about not getting married and finally declared that she loves Dev to escape from marriage, nanaji believed that Dev is only vying Geet's property after knowing her background…

Then Nanaji immediately transferred the property back to his name to put an end to this love story.. but Dev has vowed to never touch it and only come back for Geet after he established himself…

Now Nanaji wants to transfer it to Maan’s name… to put a check on Geet…

He openly talks about it with Geet to threaten her to forget any idea about going back to that Dev…

Geet remains silent and doesn’t react at all as she has no interest in the property…

But she is curious to know what Maan does…

Nanaji makes the arrangements for the registration on an auspicious day, it’s a Wednesday…

He informs Maan that he wants to gift his land to Geet and doesn’t disclose further details…

Geet ignores the drama completely and goes to the site earlier that day…

Later she learns from the driver that they went to Amritsar for the registration and Maan was also there.. he doesn’t know anything much…

He said, Maan soon left after that…

Geet is furious that this is all at last for the property, just like her sister’s marriage…

Maan didn’t even think about telling her even after the registration… it’s unforgivable…

The thing that hurt her the most is that she was foolish enough to believe that Maan is extraordinary and a very rare gentleman… she is angry with herself for believing that Maan’s care and concern was real….

Maan comes as usual on Saturday…

Geet gets really mad on seeing him…

Maan is talking to the supervisor when Geet comes to confront him…

Looking at her anger Maan sends the supervisor out…

Maan keeps watching her waiting for her to vent her anger…

Geet too keeps staring him…

Geet: so you too are one of them?

Maan doesn’t understand…

Geet starts to clap slowly..

Geet: well done Mr. Khurana, now I understood you correctly

Maan: what’s wrong with you?

Geet: what’s wrong with me? So men are never wrong, it’s always the woman

Maan: stop this nonsense Geet

Geet: I can’t believe that you married me for the property

Maan: what?

Geet: don’t act innocent, now your real colors are out, why is it that you people are always greedy of other’s property, why is that a girl is denied her rights to her own wealth that she inherits? And we should just keep watching ourselves being transferred as a commodity, that too as an undesired addition to the actual maal(the property)?

Maan: what are you talking about?

Geet: I toil here day and night for you

Geet pause and looks at him dejected… there is no appreciation from him know…

Geet: you are not satisfied by sucking all my hard work for free and on top of it you steal my property behind my back

Maan has had enough.. it’s like adding insult to his injury..

Maan: that’s enough Geet, Maan takes out the cheque book and sign a blank cheque and throws it at her…

Maan: here, take as much as you want, I never hire anyone for free, I give them more than what they deserve

Geet tears it into pieces and throws back at him…

Geet: I’m not here to beg, I was asking about what was rightfully mine, you betrayed me, I can never forgive you for this

Maan can’t hear anything more… he leaves at once and vows never to see her again…
