That evening…..

Geet gets ready and goes to the mandap with the Sharmas while Maan decides to skip it…

Maan goes out and comes back very late…

Geet has slept as she is too tired…..

Maan is not even interested in looking at his sleeping beauty like before… .

Maan has safely locked his heart back inside the iron box like before…..

He is not ready to take any risk…. Having tried his luck at a normal life has only given him pain and regret… he is better of being that MSK, the giver, the care taker of his family…

He is cursed not to be at the receiving end in his lifetime…

Maan wants to be a giver and strongly believes that only the incapable and weak end up at the receiving end… he never likes to be at the receiving end…

That is ok for any other thing but love, Maan slipped a bit and expected to receive something back in return for hie pure love once in his lifetime and he is denied on his face leaving him shattered completely… .now he has nothing to give for her….

Maan finally falls asleep after deciding to accept defeat at the hands of this girl with a golden heart but who has lost it even before knowing it’s value….

How can he blame her for she herself believes that her heart is not with her but with someone else…

Maan can’t demand her something that she doesn’t possess…

Maan has to accept the reality and stop hurting the bith of them… for that he has to slowly learn to end this bonding, whatever it may be with Geet….

Next morning Maan goes to pick up Raksha from Chandigarh….

Maan has left even before Geet wakes….

Geet gets ready and goes down to meet Rohini…

Rohini has made aloo paratha specially for Geet… it’s Geet’s favourite….

Geet keeps looking for Maan… has he gone back to Delhi without her?

He could do anything in his present state of mind….

Rohini understands that Geet is missing Maan…

Rohini is surprised that Maan didn’t inform anything to Geet…

Rohini: Geet, tum Maan ko dhoondh rahe ho?

Geet: nahi

Rohini: he has gone to bring Raksha

Geet: hmm, I know, I just forgot

Rohini is happy to see Geet not letting down Maan smartly…

Maan and Raksha come back in the evening…

Raksha is hanging out with Maan all the time and Geet just keeps watching Maan from a distance….

Maan thinks that he needs this break….

And the four of them start talking about the past and Geet is reduced to a mere audience…

Maan is really comfortable with Raksha… she is just a year or two younger to him and is a divorcee..

She married a foreigner against her parents wish and ended up divorcing him within months…. .

But much like Maan, she too looks much younger for her age and keeps herself fit…

That’s a good thing… moreover she is happy with her life and doesn’t seem to be remotely regretful about her earlier marriage decision or its failure… she lives life on her own terms…

Geet likes her attitude and her courage to own her decisions, most importantly she is ready to accept the fact that she did make a wrong choice and she is unapologetic about her choice but is also brave enough to ditch it when it went wrong… that’s life, it’s a trial and end process, it’s not like successful people never make mistakes, it’s just that people who learn from their mistakes are only successful….

Maan was the preferred choice of her parents but Maan denied saying that he has no such interests in Raksha…

Geet is surprised how Maan is surrounded by divorcees…

All are potential matches for him…

Maan would have had a lovely family had he married in time…

But no, Maan has to wait for his Geet, and the wait seems never ending….

Geet feels like someone is trying to take her place, it’s all good that Raksha is Maan’s childhood friend and bestie, but Geet is his present friend, haina?

Raksha might have known Maan for years but where was she all these years?

Geet is the one who is with Maan 24*7 for the past three months…

And within the short period, Geet knows everything about Maan, that’s what she thinks, and most probably Maan knows everything about Geet, even more than her very own family….

Geet seems to be more possessive about her friendship with Maan than her so called true love….

What’s wrong if Geet values this friendship more than her other relationships?

After all not everyone is lucky enough to get the right life partner, but all are entitled to one genuine relationship,bit can be with a brother, a sister, an uncle, an aunty or anybody else for that matter… And found a such a rare bonding with Maan… and she is not ready to give up whatever she has….

At dinner…. .

Geet helps Rohini in making the dinner, Aswin takes charge of the tandoor as he is the tandoori master… they make authentic punjabhi naan and tandoori chicken…

Geet is happy that Aswin is the master chef for he is a shudh Desi, who loves his butter unlike the others who ruin the whole maza of eating food in the name of a healthy diet…

Agar desi khana hai toh usse desi ghee ke saath hi khao warna mat hi kao, haina?

Raksha aur Maan refresh hokke aathe hai…

Rohini: Geet, jao Maan ko bhulake aao

Geet goes to call Maan…

Geet knocks…

Maan: darwaza khula hai

Maan thinks she must have come to take her stuff…

Geet doesn’t feel like going in and she shouts… .

Geet: khana tayaar hai

It’s as if she is saying that it’s dinner time, khana hai toh khalo, I don’t care much…

Maan goes and opens the door but she has left…

Maan doesn’t want to go… he stays in the room itself…
