At KC…..

Geet keeps watching him impatiently….

Geet: kya hua? Achcha nahi hai kya?

Maan: can’t you wait a minute?

Geet: I can’t, I have waited more than enough

After having a look at the final plans Maan is really impressed with her work…

Maan: this looks perfect, Rohini aunty will love it Geet

Geet: Woh toh mujhe bhi patha hai

Geet is annoyed by that response….

Maan gets the clue from her tone itself….

Maan: I love the way you have worked the whole structure around the internal courtyard, I like the way you gave it a modern touch with the fountain and the green wall at the back drop, I must say that you have out done Sasha in this

Geet: don’t you dare compare me with your favourite Sasha aunty, she can never be a competition for me, samjhe aap

Maan enjoys the way she is calling poor Sasha aunty, he is afraid that she might be thinking about him also the same way, as he is of Sasha’s age only….

Maan: I’m really surprised that how you have learnt so much in such a short span of time, now I 100% agree that you should be proud of yourself Geet, I can now say that no one would have done it better than you, well done Geet

Geet is very happy after Maan hearing that….

Geet: I want to know your suggestions too, I know I’m still learning

Maan was about to give her a few corrections and he likes the way she is ready for taking his inputs too… how he wishes that she comes to him for life lessons too… but what’s the use? Would he be able to open his mind and tell her his own truth? No, that’s not so easy like this…

Maan keeps looking at her as he thinks about their personal equation…

Geet: Maaan sir

Maan: hmmm, ek minute

Maan takes another look at the file…

Geet is happy that he has taken genuine interest in her work again…

Maan gives a few suggestions which Geet seriously takes note of…

Maan is a bit faster as he goes from one suggestion to another… .

Geet who is typing it on her notepad stops him…. .

Geet: rukho rukho, isse pehle aap ne kya kaha? Uss seediyon ko shift karna hai aur

Maan repeats and this time takes care that she doesn’t miss in between….

Maan takes the file and goes and sits beside her so that she can easily get the points…

Geet moves her chair closer so that she can see the file better…

Maan feels crazy being so close yet feeling so far from her… this girl has been influencing him badly that he has lost control of his own feelings… no matter what, a part of him wants her to stay with him forever….

Maan struggles to concentrate but manages to do his job somehow….

Maan has finished and just keeps watching her still not ready to let the moment end…

Geet is looking for the next tip from him .. . She looks up and looks at him when he comes back to his senses…

Geet: aur?

Maan wants to say so much more and make her understand what’s going on within him, but he can’t…. He is just “Maan sir” for her, the word “sir” itself keeps remaining him of his age…

Maan: aur kuch nahi Geet

Maan gives the file back to her…

Geet: thanks Maan sir

Geet leaves with a big smile… why not? Her boss has approved her work, he even gave her suggestions…. She is obviously happy….

While this goes on at KC, it’s totally different at KM…

Geet still behaves like a temporary guest with him…

But she is not bothered about making permanent relationship with every other Khurana except Maan Singh Khurana…. Maan ke naam me koi gadbad hoga…

She is not worried because she is unknowingly enjoying the attention she is receiving as the bahu from the whole Khurana pariwaar ….

But the same attention given to her by her very own husband (?), is conveniently taken by her as a member of the family and anything more than that is beyond her understanding…

And Maan has drawn his own limits, which he is trying hard not to cross…

He has managed to limit his territory in the outside world but couldn’t limit his thoughts, the more he tries to control, the more they keep crossing the limits….

Geet on the other hand doesn’t even know that there exists any kind of limits for any temporary guest and freely keeps entering his secluded territory as per her will and wish…

That’s the biggest problem for Maan…

She takes her own rights to get angry whenever he tries to ignore her…

She gets upset when there is a slight lacking in the attention he gives her, specially at KC…

At home she gets everyone’s attention to such extent, that she doesn’t realize that she is missing anything at all…..

Geet is happy as of now and if this continues, Geet will never realize Maan’s value as a husband in the true sense…

That’s why Dadi has planned to send them away so they get to spend more time alone…

Maan and Geet are going to the Sharma’s place this weekend….

Rohini calls Dadi….

Rohini: ji maaji, meine sara interzam karliya

Dadi: good

Rohini: but they have to be here for the wedding itself

Dadi: I’ll talk to Maan

Rohini: I’m ready

Dadi: good luck

Rohini: as long as I have your blessings, no one can beat me, not even Maan

Dadi: that’s the spirit, Raksha kab aarahi hai?

Rohini: she is coming on Friday

Dadi: when is the wedding?

Rohini: it’s on Thursday, you know how she hates wedding parties, I myself asked her to come later, warna mujhe bhi enjoy nahi karne degi, oh you don’t know how I missed our wedding parties, it’s another level here

Dadi: ok, bye

It’s Rohini’s sister, Roohi’s daughters wedding…

It’s in Amritsar only….

The Khuranas are also invited… .

Annie can’t go at this time…

There are very limited invitations like this that come for the Khuranas from their place for which Dadi gives the attendance…

For other business circle weddings, only receptions, Maan pays a flying visit….

Now that her bahu has come Dadi wants her to take all her responsibilities and she is going to enjoy her retirement… and she can’t afford to travel often….
