                   Part – 33

After dinner Maan and Geet come out of the hotel and as soon as Geet saw kulfiwala on the road she asks Maan to stop the car…

Maan is used to her childish desires and so stops the car…

Before Maan could open the window and call the kulfiwala Geet is off the car running towards him…

Maan gets off and follows Geet as usual…

Geet gets the kulfi and starts relishing it before it could melt while Maan pays the poor guy waiting for Geet to pay, Maan tips him heavily for he has put a smile on Geet’s face…

Geet finds a seat at the seaside and runs and sits there slowly enjoying the beautiful moonlit sea shore with the waves whispering to her…

Maan comes and sits beside her and watching Geet shinning brighter than the moon itself…

The fault is not with the moon but in his eyes…

Geet: it’s so beautiful, haina?

Maan: very beautiful

Maan utters the words in a subconscious state as he keeps admiring Geet…

Maan is in a very good mood…

Geet is yet to understand Maan’s feelings…

She is in another tangent altogether….

Geet: can you hear that

Maan: hmm

Geet turns and looks at Maan and gets confused by the way he is looking at her…

It’s new, Geet doesn’t understand that nothing is new about Maan’s looks but she has just now got a glimpse of his feelings…

Geet: I mean the sea, can’t you hear the whispering of the waves?

By now Geet should have known that Maan is in no mood to admire anything but Geet right now…

Maan: hmm, do you know what they want to tell?

Geet: no

Maan gets a little closer and whispers in her ears…

Maan: life is full of beautiful surprises and you should always be looking for them or else you might miss them

Geet: that’s so true, I never knew Mumbai had such beautiful surprises?

Geet gets up from the bench and starts to walk closely followed by Maan…

It’s rightly said that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”…

While Geet is lost in the beauty of the night time sea Maan is lost in her timeless beauty…

They take a long walk enjoying each other’s company…

 That night Maan sleeps dreaming about his future with Geet while Geet continues to dream about her future…

Next day Maan leaves for the meeting early when Geet is still in her dreams…

Maan leaves without disturbing her….

After a long meeting Maan calls Geet …

Geet doesn’t pick his calls…

Maan wonders what would be keeping her so busy….

Maan rushes to the hotel only to find the room empty…

Maan learns from the reception that Geet had left soon after he went to the meeting…

Maan understands that Geet has her own schedule and is worried about her being alone…

Geet easily gets herself into unwanted trouble and that’s why Maan is not happy with her roaming in a new city on her own…

Maan keeps calling her…

He then texts her just like she does…

He gets a reply finally…

Geet: don’t worry about me, I’ll be back in the evening

Maan can’t sit and wait for her when he knows that Geet is not capable of taking care of herself…

Maan keeps texting her…

“ Just let me know where you are…”

“Mumbai only..”

“not so funny, what are you doing alone in such a big city?”

“I’m not alone”

“What? “

“I’m with a friend”

“ok, just tell me the location, I won’t bother you then”

“I’m at the mall, bye”

Geet goes offline then…

Maan rushes to the mall where Geet is and starts looking for her…

Maan finally spots her with her friend…

Maan decides to leave them alone…

Geet turns in his direction as she has the feeling that someone is watching her…

Maan hides from her immediately…

Geet comes in search of her stalker while her friend comes after her…

Her friend seems to be unhappy that Geet is showing interest in some invisible stalker rather than him, yes it is a boy friend…
