Backbend 'til I touch my toes

I don't wanna row, row, row the boat

Wrist full of rocks and I hope I float

Big up yourself 'cause you know they don't

I chew, chew, chew 'cause they hope I choke (Hey)

I'm a bi+ch and a boss, I'ma shine like gloss

Said, bi+ch, I'm the after, you've been the before

Don't need a report, don't need a press run

All of my bad pics been all my best ones

I wear the hat and I wear the pants

I am advanced so I get advance

And I do my dance and cancel the plans

Said, boo, don't be mad 'cause you had a chance, drop

Said, I took it and I ran for it

I won it then I stand on it

Money on the floor when we dance on it

Shine bright, finna put a tan on it

Said, I took it and I ran for it

I won it then I stand on it

Money on the floor when we dance on it

Shine bright, finna put a tan on it like

I'm a bi+ch, I'm a boss

BOSS BI+CH

Imlie woke up from the sound of the alarm in her phone. Now she felt like she had started to return to her old lifestyle a little. Her phone was very dear to her, this might not be the iphone which she used to use but the sense of having a smartphone made her feel happy and comfortable. Now the first plan of her today was to pick up Chavi from the Rescue Home and drop her at her College hostel. She had even canceled Niti’s plan for today's shopping in Chandni Chowk and postponed it to next Thursday. She took a shower quickly, wore her brown kameez with patiala pants and made her way to ‘Sukhalay Rescue Home’.

But as she was passing by the College Campus she saw a guy sitting lost in his thoughts with his luggage on a bench. He was in a simple T-shirt and cargo shorts, he had spectacles too on his eyes. She suddenly remembered he was the same guy who used the computer of the internet café before her in Chautaalgarh. She made her way and greeted the guy.

“Jai Sita Maiyya”

He looked up and greeted her back and asked, “If you don’t mind, may I ask who you are?”

“Definitely myself Imlie from Pagdandia.”

“Oh Pagdandia, it’s near our village. I am from Chautaalgarh. And my name is Rajendra Awasthi”

“Nice to meet you Rajendra. Which department are you in?”

Imlie sat on the bench with him, she had a little time in her hands before picking up Chavi as they would reach Delhi by 10:00 am.

“Software Department, I am from the engineering branch”

“Oh my you are an intelligent lad”

Rajendra smiled a little as he removed his glasses and straightened his hair. Imlie looked at him surprised, she had seen this guy in her last life. He was the pride of the software engineering section as he would lead the college to the first position in the coding competition organized by the government, ‘Smart India Hackathon’ two years later. But he looked completely different by then, he was wearing contact lenses that time and wore hoodies the most. She remembered his speech, “Today I might lead my team on behalf of my college but once I was in doubt of my capabilities. I was scared, shy and confused when I first stepped into this College. I didn’t have a laptop to practice my skills when I started my college life. It was my journey of two years that made me capable enough to stand with my head high and I got the confidence to lead. Thank you to all my teachers, mentors and friends”

“So Imlie what branch are you from?” Rajendra asked her when he saw her lost in thoughts.

“Oh! I am not from Engineering line rather I am having my bachelors in journalism”

“Oh wow! That’s cool. Being from my family I had only two options: either be an engineer or a doctor. I chose engineer”

“Don’t worry you will shine in your field”

“Thank you but I doubt that. I don’t like the stream much, also coding is hassling to be honest”

This made Imlie more surprised and it also caught the radar of her curiosity. The guy who would go in a Hackathon of continuous seventy two hours to make an app for the government was saying that he doesn’t like coding. She remembered when she went to an office to collect evidence as a software engineer with the police in a special mission, she needed to learn the basics of coding. It was hard but very interesting. She thought for a second that the internet connection might be the reason that he didn’t get much of a chance to explore the coding field. And that made him feel like he doesn't like coding much.

“Rajendra…umm can I call you Raj? It’s easier”

“Oh…sure”

“Raj, I think I should show you the library of this college. They have a special room with computers which is only for the students of your department and it has unlimited wi-fi services in it”

“What?”

“Also as a student you can access it twenty four hours if you can get a permit from your Head Of The Department”

“Wait! What do you mean?”

“Do you know programming languages?”

“Theoretically yes”

“And software like Android Studio or environments like Visual Studio?”

“Yes I heard about them but never got a chance to explore”

‘Bingo’, Imlie felt she hit the nail at the right place. He was not confident because he never got the chance of exploring the coding world.

“So you should explore and for that you need the computer. Come on let me show you the library”

“But Imlie my luggage?”

“You can leave it in the reception of the boys hostel. You took a room there. Isn't it?”

“Yes.”

“Perfect”

Imlie stood outside the boys hostel and Rajendra joined her after keeping the luggage at the reception of the hostel. He would move the luggage to his room later. She took him to the library and showed him the special room for coders. After they explored the other parts of the library and then both of them came out.

“Imlie thank you so much. Are you a senior?”

“Oh no, I am a fresher too.”

“But you know so much about the college”

“Oh I have explored it before. I came here last week”

“Oh…Classes will start next week.”

“Indeed, soon the college will be filled with more students. Seniors might come one or two days before the classes. Some had returned though”

“Yes, by the way Imlie how many years is your bachelor course?”

“Mine is three and yours is four. So yeah we need to part before you complete your bachelors. But, let’s be friends”

Rajendra smiled and both of them shook their hands.

“By the way Raj, can I have a favor from you once you get comfortable here?”

“Sure, you can ask me anything. You are my first friend here”

“Well can you make a web app and a mobile app. I will definitely provide you with the visions of the apps. But I need them in one month.”

“Mobile app will be hard for me as I don’t know how to use android studio and java but I can try my best to make the web app within a month”

“Thank you so much. This might help you garner your interests in coding too”

“Definitely, thanks for the opportunity”

“What opportunity?”

“You showed me a space where I can acquire my skills and helped me by giving me a mission too”

“Oh my, that's a huge pleasure of mine. First and foremost we are friends now”

“Definitely. By the way, I am going to the canteen for breakfast. Want to join?”

“Breakfast? Canteen doesn’t serve breakfast menu before 10:00 am”

“But it’s already 10:15 am”

“What? My freaking lord I am late”

“Late for what Imlie?”

“Raj I need to leave, I will see you later.”

“At least share your number. Our departments are different.”

“Oh I am so sorry, please tell me your number, fast”, Imlie stopped to type his number in her cell.

Imlie saved Rajendra’s number and gave him a call. He saved her number back and Imlie started to almost run when she heard a ‘Thank you’ from Raj behind her back. She smiled thinking after Niti she was successful at having a friendship again but right now her childhood friend needs to be saved.

She was late hence she took the metro to reach her destination and when she reached she saw Aditya and Chavi at the entrance of the Rescue home. He was about to say goodbye to Chavi when he saw Imlie at the other side of the road. Imlie was in a hurry to reach that place hence unfortunately she forgot that she needed to hide from Aditya. Aditya was little surprised to see Imlie there and Imlie was utterly confused what to do next. She once again messed up pretty well, she felt through her bones that her intelligence was lacking at the time of need; she felt utterly dissatisfied with herself as she disrupted her own plan’s smooth run. She took the decision to tackle it head on. She crossed the road and greeted Chavi and him.

“Why are you here?” Aditya asked bewildered.

“My college is here” Imlie replied nonchalantly.

“So you got your admission here in Delhi and not in any random city of U.P.?”

“Yes”

“Are you here to pick up Chavi?” Aditya asked with suspicion.

“No! I mean how would I know she would be here. I was just getting familiar with Delhi and came out to explore”

“Oh, so which College are you studying at?”

“Rani Lakhshmi Bai girls college, only two lanes ahead”

“But that college doesn’t have journalism in its courses…”

“I am doing my B.A there”

“You changed your dream?”

“Yes, our village elders only allow Arts degrees for girls. Only boys can take science and other adventurous degrees. It’s kind of predesigned structure that way”

“Babusaheb, she is telling the truth. I think you should leave now. It’s already 10:40 am”, replied Chavi and Imlie smiled at her support.

Aditya was trying his best to scrutinize Imlie’s words. Imlie the girl who would go through any length to fight would really bow her head so easily before pre designed structures of society. How is that even possible? Suddenly he remembered how Chavi had said the name of the Rescue Home even before stepping her foot in Delhi. He was suspicious from before but now he could deduce only two possibilities, either Imlie made a background search when she came to Delhi and found out Bhaskar Times sends all the victims rescued by their media house to this Rescue House or she remembers her past life like him. The first one seems like a movie plot and the second one feels like a fantasy movie plot. Could her excuse of coincidence be real? He couldn’t decide which one was convincing which made him change his decision then and there.

“Nope, Chavi. I am not going anywhere alone”

“Then?” Chavi asked anxiously.

“You are coming with me to my home. The rescue home is for strangers not for you whom I married”

Imlie looked at Aditya’s face and felt as if she fell down from the sky. This was absolutely a move she didn’t expect much but kept her expressions neutral as much as she possibly could. And Chavi’s facial expression said that she definitely despised this proposal. She didn’t marry to be his wife, she had her own plans. Imlie pinched Chavi on her back to tone down her expressions.

“But I don’t want to go with you”, Chavi retorted.

“You will, because we are married and I am your guardian now. Your friend can also come with us to see your new house and family.”

“No, I just said no right? You have your fiancé there”

“That marriage will be nullified since I am married to you,” Aditya replied.

Chavi was fuming in anger but Imlie tried to calm her down.

Before Imlie could say anything Aditya stopped an auto-rickshaw and three of them made their way to Tripathi Nivas.

When the three of them reached, Aditya rang the bell. Imlie was absolutely clueless what would happen next so calmly let the situation unfold and gave a hint to Chavi to stay calm too with her body language. Aditya’s mother Aparna opened the door and her smiles turned to a face filled with nothing but shock. Aditya and Chavi entered and Imlie followed them. Imlie remembered this property was in her name for five years in her last life, after that Aditya bought it back from her. Aryan had gave this to her drown with his feelings of revenge against Aditya,

“Adi, who are these girls with you?” Aparna uttered with caution.

Her face revealed she was scared to hear his answer.

“Maa, meet my wife Chavi. And the other girl is Imlie, she came to see her friend’s house”

Hearing the bell, Adi's Bari maa also came down and was shocked to see the scenario taking place.

“Adi, is this any kind of joke?”

“No, bari maa, maa Chavi and I got married the day before yesterday”

“Stop Adi, just stop!” Aparna screamed in anger.

Imlie looked at the whole scenario taking place thinking in her mind that this might have happened with her too if she hadn’t decided to be the maid in place of the wife.

“Adi, you were Malini’s. How could you marry someone else suddenly? That girl is in a relationship with you for the last eight years despite coming from such a rich background, she chose you beta. And cooperated with you too, she waited for you to be successful and now when you are successful you married someone else. How could you be such an inconsiderate person Adi? How could my son be such an inconsiderate person?” Aparna wept yet vocalized her mind.

“And look at their clothes. Both of them look like illiterates from some village” Bari maa added.

Imlie and Chavi felt like outcasts for a second, only for being from a village.

Imlie whispered in Chavi’s ear, “Feeling like running away from here?”

Chavi whispered back, ”Yes, look at them such hypocrites. Not even questioning how or why the marriage happened but insulting us for how we look”

“They are good people but since our first impressions we made went as records in their bad books, just know we won’t be lucky to see their good sides anytime soon.”

“I don’t care I just want to leave this place”

“Since your fake husband has declared you as his wife just wait, I promise you I will take you out of this place within this week. And this is my number. Call me from that landline in time of emergency and just say I am your mousi and this is your mousi’s number if anyone asks you about the number.”

Imlie handed Chavi the paper where she scribbled her number yesterday night to give it to her so that Chavi could contact her after she buys a smartphone for herself.

“We will never accept this marriage as well as this girl, never ever!” Aparna shouted at the top of her lungs.

“Even, I don’t want to be your daughter in law budia(old woman). You have too many prejudices against village people,” Chavi muttered under her breath and it didn’t go unnoticed by Imlie.

Imlie smiled at the differences of her thoughts and Chavi’s in similar situations. She was all about thinking marriage was everything and for Chavi her studies mattered more. Chavi’s resolve towards her aim was much better than her own was what Imlie felt.

Aditya held Chavi’s hands and took her inside. Imlie felt a little awkward to stand at the entrance and decided to leave when she heard Aparna saying to her sister in law targeting Imlie and Chavi, “Bhabi these illiterate villagers always find a way to come to the cities even if it needs to seduce our city boys. These girls are characterless and don't think twice before ruining others' relationships. Oh my poor Malini”

Imlie couldn’t hold herself back and turned around to see Aparna and her sister in law. Yep Aparna was the lovable mom of hers in her last life who stood by her and not her son when she married Aryan, but right now she is just a stranger; a stranger filled with extreme prejudices.

“Aunty I am sorry to say, but not all villagers are illiterates. We had got our education and were capable enough to hold our heads high.  So please stop spewing nonsense” remarked Imlie in English.

India has a strange fascination with English, if someone talks in English people immediately take that person educated. So Imlie opted for this language for this very reason and went outside. When she reached the gate of Tripathi Nivas she heard Aditya’s call from behind.

“Imlie…”

She turned around and saw his face.

“Imlie do you still not remember?”

“What should I remember, Aditya ji?”

“Aditya ji? Not babu saheb or Aditya babu or even jiju? I could see you didn’t even faze after seeing the hostile nature of Chavi towards me. Do you also remember the past like me and are you trying your best to bend this life according to your own will?”

Imlie heaved a sigh after hearing his words and replied, “I didn’t know you like the jiju word so much. I would love to call you jiju but my friend seems to not like you a bit and hence I refrained. Why are you holding her back? She seems like she don’t want to live with you”

“For you Imlie, just for you”

“For me?”, Imlie raised one of her eyebrow.

“Yes, the way you are acting, you are not remembering anything. Also you were the one knocked me up that day”

“That’s coz I didn’t want you to ruin my plans which you were evidently trying to do”

“You are just like that Aryan Singh Rathore” stated Aditya hoping to see some eye catching  reaction from Imle.

“And who is he?” asked Imlie nonchalantly.

Not getting the desired reaction Aditya replied, “No one”

“Oh! Then goodbye and please take care of my friend as you have declared she is your wife. Don’t be an irresponsible lad like you are to your ex-girlfriend Malini.” said Imlie and rephrased, “Oh poor Malini”,  mimicking Aparna and her sister-in-law.

Aditya had never seen this Imlie before she was definitely giving a vamp aura than any innocent girl vibes.

“Wait Imlie!”

“Now what man? Why waste my time?”

“You said you don’t know Aryan Singh Rathore right? You will know him soon. He will be in front covers of Bhaskar Times for all the reasons that no one wishes to happen in their life. Keep an eye on our newspaper”

Imlie was dumbstruck but pretended like she didn’t understand anything and mocked him, “Is your newspaper ain’t selling well mister that you are promoting it to individuals rather than the mass with banners and ads?”

And she turned around and left though she heard Aditya from back, “Remember to keep an eye though. Bye”

Imlie ordered ‘Aloo Poori’ in a food cart stall and sat on the bench with her food. Her mood was sour, first for Aditya’s warning as she couldn’t figure out what he was planning and the next that she was late for her breakfast. The sun was above her head, it had been past twelve and now she was having it. She called at the post office of Pagdandia and asked for Meethi. Meethi came to the line after a few minutes.

“Gudia, why are you calling at such an odd time?”

“Amma, I bought a new cell phone. I called so that I can give you my number”

“Oh wait, I will ask the postmaster to write it.”

Meethi called the postmaster, and he wrote Imlie’s number on a piece of paper and gave the phone to Meethi.

“Gudia, Master ji has written the number. Now whenever I would feel like talking with you I will call you”

“Yes, Amma”

“Beta have you met Chavi? She went to Delhi today with the sehri babu by morning bus”

“Yes Amma, I just visited her new home and family”

“What? Have you met her already?”

“Yes”

“Gudia please tell the truth, I was thinking about this from yesterday” Meethi said to Imlie when the postmaster went outside for some work and the post office was empty.

“What Amma?”

“Last week you said she will be out of the village by this week and Chavi is right now in Delhi. Was seeing Sehri Babu and Chavi together was your plan or was it a coincidence? And this whole marriage fiasco was the villagers at fault for forcing it or you were the one who pre planned this scenario?”

Imlie was now in a tight spot, her mother seems to get a hint that everything happened according to her will.

“Amma, what nonsense are you saying? I was in Delhi that time”

“And both of you, Gudia and Amma also, I feel like you guys are hiding something from me. What happened that morning when the villagers claimed that the sehri babu was at our place? When I returned I indeed heard he was found in the grove which was linked to our backyard”

“Amma you are just thinking too much naani and I are absolutely clueless of the sehri babu being there”

“Also you suddenly changed the way you used to call her; from nakli naani to naani and even Amma doesn't mind you anymore. Something happened between you two”

“That actually happened, we grandmother-granddaughter duo found the love we were missing. But Amma I have something interesting to tell you”

“What?”

“Chavi’s new family”

“What about them?”

“They didn’t accept her”

“What?”

“Yes and that sehri babu had a fiancé back at home who was his lover from past eight years”

“What are you saying Imlie?”

“Amma there’s more to that. Please inform kaka and kaki that their girl is facing harassment just because she is from the village. They have huge prejudices against village people.

“What! Our Chavi is facing harassment?”

“Yes I couldn’t see it anymore in front of my eyes so I left their home then and there. I couldn’t see her in such a miserable condition. She was crying badly”, Imlie lied neatly.

“This is absolutely unfair. She didn’t marry at her choice”

“Yes and they called her a characterless girl. Amma, I am giving you the landline number of that house. Give that to Dulari kaka so that they can ask Chavi how she is faring there. She needs good mental support from her family. It might be disastrous for her first to be forced into a marriage and then not being accepted in the family. Also she was in love with her fiancé and he had hurt her so much by breaking his marriage with her for a simple misunderstanding which he could clear among themselves without calling the villagers.”

“Yes Gudia, I will inform Madhubanti soon, the postmaster is coming. I will ask him to write the number.”

“Amma, wait!”

“Yes, Gudia. I am listening”

“I will finish the call after giving the number. But can you please do me a favor”

“Yes beta, I can do anything for you”

“Amma keep your eyes and ears open in the village and also please be attentive when you go to give Dadda tiffin and hear the conversations of his team members too”

“Why Gudia?”

“You may hear the name Aryan Singh Rathore soon, it can be even by today or tomorrow”

“Aryan the name you take in your sleep”

“Did I take his name in my sleep too?”

“Yes”

Imlie smiled and said, “Amma you will hear that name soon. I can somehow give a guarantee so please be attentive and tell naani about it too. She will help in keeping an eye”

“Okay Gudia”

Imlie cut her call after giving Tripathi Nivas’s landline number to the postmaster.

The food on Imlie’s plate had already finished while talking with her mother, she paid the cash and stood under a tree’s shade for a while, calculating the moves she pulled till now and what strings she should pull next. At last a smile came to her lips as she muttered under breath, “Time to make new friendship with an old friend. Pikachu it’s time to be best friends again”

She got in an auto-rickshaw and mentioned her destination to the driver. The driver got confused and asked, “Ma’am are you sure you want to go there? It’s a risky place for girls”

“Don’t worry dada, I know which risks you are mentioning about. Just drop me there”

The auto driver did what he was told.

Imlie reached the place and made her way to a slum area and after passing almost twelve narrow lanes she ended up in a warehouse which seemed abandoned from outside.

She took a left turn and went straight, there she saw a hole, large enough to pass humans inside. She went a little inside and found an iron door, she could hear noises from inside. She took a deep breath and made her way in.

The place looked like an underground fighting club. As she walked in, the noises stopped as the men looked at her confused. All the men looked like goons and some had faces of murderers. Imlie also knew some of them to be actual criminals here who were in jail before for cases like murders, dacoities, smuggling and money laundering. Also there were rich people in the crowd having real Gucci and Prada watches and sunglasses on them.

“Why is a girl here?” one of them asked, confused.

Imlie said loudly, “I am here to play and fight to earn some cash”

“Hey foolish girl” a man came out and shouted at her. He continued, “This place belongs to me and a village girl like you looks good in a red light area inside a brothel not in a fighting club”

“But I am here to fight” Imlie said nonchalantly.

“I don’t know how you made your way here but get out before things get nasty. That ring you are seeing there, many people died there when they challenged our men for a fight.”

“Yes I know that, that’s why I am here to play with Raka”

“Do you even know who Raka is?”

“A murderer and an awesome player who brings cash to your house. Winning against him is kind of impossible and yes people bid money here. After all, it is a gambling place to see blood. And Raka never bleed much, I will make him bleed I promise”

“Girl then I will say you don’t know the meaning of promise. It’s next to impossible to have more than scratches at him”

“If I am saying here keeping my head high, do you really think I am here just to bleed myself”

This line made the man think for a while and he replied, “Before facing Raka you need to face Rana”

“No problem at all”

Imlie went inside the ring and kept her bag in a corner. A man came to her with a tray of knives, “Since you are the first girl in this ring we are providing you the best knives but just know that Rana is dreadful with knives. Take two knives that’s the rule to play against him”

Imlie looked at the knives and smiled, they were indeed high quality knives. If someone fights with two knives that means the person might have agile movements. He attacks mostly with both his hands and uses his feet for agile movements to back off from his opponents. He might be a close range assassin who uses his skills for swift killings in crowds. These thoughts made Imlie wonder about Rana but her smile widened when she saw him entering the ring holding his knives in reverse. He looked at her bewildered and warned her to get out of the ring.

Imlie thought to amuse him a little by giving him the feel of a noob standing in front of him.

She exclaimed, “How do you hold these knives I wonder?”

“Girl you are just wasting everyone’s time!” Rana ran towards her at a very fast speed but as he was about to hit her she moved her left foot at an acute angle of thirty five degree and moved her body a little left making him miss his target.

She smiled and said, “Sir, at last I found out how to use these knives”

“You, you won’t be lucky this time”

Rana came from the back aiming at the right side of her waist but she immediately turned around and looked straight in his eyes. She threw the knife which was in her left hand in the air and held it in reverse. The next moment her smile disappeared from her face and before Rana’s knife could reach her, her knife pierced through the knuckle of his right hand causing him to lose the grip of his knife for a second but he pulled his composure again and stepped back from her.

That very moment both Rana and the audience knew the opponent was not any simple girl like they thought before. For Imlie she was enjoying this fight as she could release her killing intent here freely.

“I bet sixty thousand at her”, one audience member screamed.

“I bet seventy”

The man who was the head was impressed at her and asked, “Miss how much do you need from the house?”

“1.5 Lakhs…How about it?” Imlie said with a cynical smile.

Rana tried to attack her but he needed to back off again. Once, twice, thrice every time he aims a body part of her, she not only defends herself but ends up piercing the skin of his hands.

“This is getting a little boring. This time I will attack”, Imlie exclaimed.

Rana was sweating and breathing heavily. That girl had just exclaimed the fight was boring, he couldn’t believe his own ears. Here, he was bleeding and there she was standing without any scratch. The next moment he lifted his head to see Imlie who was standing in the middle of the ring, but to his dismay she was only an inch away from him and before he could complete his thoughts of how she covered the two meters distance in five seconds both of his knives went flying in the air. Imlie held her left knife in a hammer grip near his belly and right one in reverse as a saber grip only an inch away from his throat.

The hall screamed with joy after seeing such an intense fight.

Rana exclaimed with a smile, “I thought I was the most dangerous man with knives. My oh my I was such a foolish man. You are on some different level girl and how sadistic can you be? If you want to mess a person’s body with wounds you would use the knife on the belly and if you want to remove someone from this world you will use the right knife placed on the throat. I surrender before you; you are with a twisted mind girl”

“Are you complimenting or insulting me? But whatever it is you are lucky indeed because if a knife comes in my hand I don’t easily stop before tearing throats into pieces.”  whispered Imlie.

Shivers ran down through Rana's spine as he saw the dilated pupils of her eyes emitting nothing but coldness. She was someone not only extremely powerful but also a very cold person with almost no emotions. 'Is she a psychopath?' thought Rana.

“That’s scary indeed”  he replied back to Imlie.

As Imlie backed off Rana noticed her eyes went back to normal and she wasn't emitting any aura which screamed she is a cold blooded person. He went down the stage and the applause around the ring became louder. Imlie came down from the ring with her bag.

The man came and said, “You are phenomenal Miss. Our house earned three lakhs only from this fight”

“Mahesh ji I think Raka isn’t coming as he is not here. So you better do a thing I ask”

The smile in the man’s face disappeared, “How did you know my name and also Raka isn’t here?”

“If Raka was here he wouldn’t have missed his brother’s fight and I heard that man calling you with this name”

“Ow. There’s a man who wants to hire you and will give you money.”

“But I don’t want to work for him”

Mahesh was a little surprised and asked, “Why don’t you? Here people come to get hired by these rich people.”

“But I want to be a fighter of this house”

“That’s not possible Miss. But please come with me I will give the cheque for your awesome fight”

Imlie followed Mahesh and ended up in a small cabin. He wrote her a cheque.

As both of them were alone in that room Imlie said, “Mahesh ji how does it feel running the largest underground intel sources? From fighting house to brothels to hackers...”

Mahesh looked at her alarmed.

“What? Why are you so surprised? Mahesh ji, your boss might have all the information he wants right under his thumb. Pikachu is really a lucky person”

“You, how do you know his name?”

“I know many things but just tell Pikachu if he wants to meet me to know how I know his secret then he should meet me in this café at 6:00 pm.” said Imlie handing him a piece of paper.

Mahesh looked at Imlie with caution.

“And don’t you dare to send any man behind me to keep an eye on me else my eyes are sharp enough to find anyone” saying this Imlie threw a knife from the two knives she used in the ring to fight Rana towards the direction of the cupboard that was kept in the room.

The knife pierced the wooden door and went inside. A man screamed in pain and fell out of the cupboard. The knife has pierced his right shoulder.

Imlie calmly took her cheque and said, “Oh! I forgot to say, his breathing was loud and uneven. Take him to a doctor”

This was enough to warn Mahesh to never send a spy behind her and she came out of the cabin when she heard him calling someone, “Hello Sir”

Imlie smiled and thought cheerfully that she will soon meet Pikachu, her best friend and the most trusted brother from her last life. She went back to her hostel.

Aryan, Narmada and Arpita were having lunch when Arpita asked Aryan, “Aru I saw a new umbrella in your room when I went to call you. Whose umbrella it?”

“A girl gave it to me yesterday,” Aryan replied while eating.

“Girl?” Both mom and daughter were surprised and screamed in unison.

“Why are you both so surprised? I have an assistant too who is a girl and my office is filled with girls. But you both are behaving as if girls are scarce in my world” Aryan replied.

“I know you have plenty of girls, UNB but none has ever lent you an umbrella. Who is this angel?” Arpita asked with curiosity.

“What angel? She was a Jungly and an idiot”

“Jungly, Idiot! Maa, can you hear him? He has names for her” Arpita said with amusement.

“That’s because I don’t know her name and she is an odd girl not worthy to have any conversation about her. By the way I am leaving”

“Aru at least eat before you leave”

“Maa, I don’t want to feel sleepy while driving. I will give you both a call after I reach Kanpur. Bye”

“Bye UNB”

“Bye beta”

The plan to leave for Kanpur was in the morning but Aryan was so curious about Imlie that he went to the park in the hope to meet her and return her umbrella but Imlie never came so he was irritated by her.

As he sat and was fasting his seat belt he muttered under his breath, “Angel! My foot! Di should have called her a Devil. A Devil who easily gets lured by handsome faces. I waited for her two hours, but she might be in some adventurous journey to lend another umbrella to some other man with a handsome face”

And he turned on his ignition keys of his car.
