Chapter 12

Taani decides on wearing a simple anarkali for the dinner, Tauji and she are in their car. 

"Nervous?" Tauji asks, "haan, thoda" Taani replies, "don't be, Aditya is a good guy and uske parents ko toh tum janti hi ho, its going to be fine" Tauji assures her, "just remember koi force nai he kisi baat, just talk and if you don't like him thn it okay" Tauji reassures her making Taani smile and nod.

They reach Khurana House, Shalini opens the door, "Wow beta, kitni khubsoorat lag rhi ho, aao, aaiye Rishibhaisab" Taani blushes at the compliment and walks in.

They all get seated in living room, after a little awkward silence which is broken by Abhay, "Yeh awkward silence khatam karke ladka ladki kuch time de baatein karne ka?" This makes Aditya and Taani both blush, Adi glares at Abhay making him snicker. "Abhay sahi keh rha he, Adi take her to the back garden, jao Taani beta" Shalini says nudging Taani and Aditya. 

They are both sitting on the bench in the garden. "You don't have worry about what happens here, this will not affect our work relation" Aditya says wanting to clear Taani's doubt's. Hearing him Taani smiles, "I know" she says. "Why did you agree to meet me like this?" Aditya asks, Taani after a moment of hesitation said "Tauji had asked, I didn't know what to do so said yes" Aditya smiles at genuineness, "Aapne kyun haan ki?" Taani asks biting her lip making Adi stare at it for a min before composing himself, "I don't want to come off too strong but I like you, I never had an issue with arrange marriage as long as there was at least some liking between my partner and me. And I feel I can have that with you" hearing Aditya Taani feels a little overwhelmed. 

"I used to love someone" Adi is a little surprised but doesn't show it, "He was my first crush, first love but it didn't work out, I came out of that relationship with alot of insecurities",

"Do you still love him?" Aditya asks, "No, we both wanted different things and weren't meant for each other, I just wanted to let you know this incase.." Taani looks away, Aditya understands.

"I have never had a serious relationship, I have had a few one night stands while I was traveling but thats about it, college me I was a nerd, padhai ke aage kuch dikhta hi nai tha aur haven't really found anyone." Aditya admits making Taani let out a small smile at his truthfulness. 

"Do you have any problems with arrange marriage?" Aditya asks Taani curiously, "Not really but I do want to get to know the person before marriage, I don't want to go blindly in such a big phase" Taani replies. 

"Would you want to get to know me?" Aditya asks making Taani look into his eyes, they stare at each other for a few minutes, "I would like that" Taani says looking down trying to hide her blush. 

"Bhai, baatein khatam hui ya nai aapki?" They both jump the sudden shout, "yeh na pitega mere hatho kisi din" Aditya mutters making Taani giggle.

They join the elders in the living room, "So Taani partner, Taani bhabhi banogi meri?" Abhay asks, making Taani's eyes widen and her blush to increase, "Abhay tang mat kar use, idhar aao Taani" Shalini motions Taani to sit next to her whereas Aditya takes a seat next to Yash but not before smacking Abhay's head making him whine.

"Toh kya baat hui?" Yash asks to Aditya, "umm we want to get to know each other better if thats alright with you guys?" Aditya asks looking down making everyone smile and Adi and Taani blush.

They all have dinner with Aditya stealing glances at Taani making her blush. After dinner Rishi and Taani leave as Rishi has to early tomorrow. 

"Tauji aap abhi bhai ko kuch mat bataiyega, I mean wese bhi kuch final nai he" Taani says while she and tauji are in the car, "haan me bhi use final hone ke baad hi batane ka soch rha tha" he replies, "Do you like him Taani? You aren't doing this for me na beta?" Tauji asks her gently, "Esa nai he Tauji, I-I like him, he is a nice guy" Taani says looking down resembling a tomato.
