The past two days had been hard for her. She had been anxious and irritated feeling extremely tired. The reason of course she understood when dear Aunt Flo came knocking today morning. She had avoided him the whole day citing work and had returned home alone earlier than him. 15 minutes ago he had returned and tried to strike a conversation with her. She had snapped at him. He hadn't said much, just shook his head slightly and she had retreated to their bedroom. Now she was feeling guilty that he hadn't yet come to their room. Somehow the drama brought back a painful memory she badly wanted to forget

Ever since she gave birth to Pakhi, her monthly cycles had been more difficult. More than the pain, her mood swings had been terrible. Today was no different and she had badly wanted to scream. Last night's sleeplessness didn't help her either. She had completed all the household chores and the children were already at school. Badly wanting to lie down for a while and rest, she had gone inside bedroom. In two minutes the door flung open and in came her husband. He had forgotten a file and as usual ordered her to get it. Tired out, she had asked him to just get it from the cupboard. All hell had broken lose and he had screamed at the top of his voice taunting her of being lazy and how impossible it was getting by the day to live with her.

'What if one day Anuj finds it impossible to live with me? Maybe that's why he didn't come in yet.'

As the nagging doubt made it's way into her brain, she brought her knees to her chest and started weeping. So engrossed was she in her thoughts that she didn't hear him coming.

"Anu?"

He moved towards her and slightly shook her to get her attention.

"Anu... what's wrong? Are you ok?"

"Sorry... sorry I snapped... I... I..."

She mumbled trying to control her erratic breaths.

"Come here..."

He pulled her towards him and engulfed her in a hug. As soon as she calmed down a little he pushed her back and looked at her questioningly.

"Is it that time of the month?"

Anu looked surprised

"Uh... How did you..."

"Did you forget I was both mother and father to Mukku? She usually behaved erratically during those times. So when you snapped at me I understood that you were going through the monthly cycle. Ok enough explanation... Here..."

He handed her a cup.

"What is this?"

"Hot Chocolate"

"But I don't drink.."

" I know, I know... But Mukku used to love hot chocolate during this time. She said it calmed her nerves so I thought you would also like it. Just try na... I made it with so much love.."

He pouted. She smiled at him and got the cup from his hand. One sip was enough to make her understand Mukku's feelings. She moaned as the hot liquid washed over her.

"Mmmmm... this is heaven..."

"Really?"

She looked at him gazing at her, his eyes dark with passion. She gave him a loving smile, took another sip and let out another moan.

"Mmmmm.... Amazing.... I am keeping you forever, Anuj."

Her lips were brown with the chocolate and unable to resist temptation, he leant in and whispered 

"You are a messy eater. Let me help you clean up"

Rolling his tongue over her lips, he mimicked her moaning.

"Mmmmm... Truly Amazing.... I am definitely keeping you forever, Anu."
