Chapter 7

Khurana Office

6PM, "Taani?" Aditya says, "Hmm?" "Ghar chalen?" Hearing this Taani looks up to find Aditya looking at her intensely again, for a minute she gets lost in his eyes but soon comes back to her sense, "ghar?" she asks, "Haan late ho gaya he, baki sab ek ghante pehle hi nikal gaye, him bhi nikalte he, chalo" Aditya says standing up. "Oh muje time ka dhyan hi nai raha, ha chaliye" Taani too stands up after shutting off her laptop and they leave. 

"Tum yaha ruko me gadi leke aata hoon" Aditya says "Arey you don't have to drop me everyday" Taani says making Aditya stop in his track, "I know Taani that I don't 'have to' but I would like to and anyways raste me hi toh aata he" saying so he leaves without a for a reply, (ajeeb aadmi he Taani thinks to herself). 

Aditya comes in his car and stop in front of her, she gets in and they leave. "I heard dad talking how Rishi uncle is coming to Mumbai this Sunday, you must be excited?" Aditya asks, "Haan I am! I mean me unhe pichle hafte hi mili thi but it feels like its been ages" Taani replies smilingly, "You seem quite close to him" Aditya notes, " Haan growing up he and bhai used to spoil me rotten, he still does" Taani smiles remembering her happy childhood moments. 

"Bhai? Swayam right? Apparently according to my dad I used to fight with him alot as a kid because of you" Aditya says, "because of me? Matlab?" Taani asks confused, "Aap bhai ko jante ho?", "I mean janta tha, I don't really remember I was quite young" Adi says, "but aap log meri wajah se kyun ladte the?" Taani asks cutely, "we used to fight on who will get to hold you or thats what dad said to me, tumhara ghar aagaya" Aditya says stopping the car with a smile. "Oh I didn't know, umm thanks for dropping me!" Taani says quickly getting out of the car so as to not waste his time more. "How would you know, you were barely a few months old anyways goodnight and you are welcome" saying this he drives off towards his own house. 

Taani unlocks her door and quickly freshens up and makes some simple dal chawal for herself, she eats and watches some of her class videos and after washing her used plate she starts studying. She studies till she feels like she can't stay awake anymore and thn goes off to sleep. 

Next morning, Friday

Swayam wakes up thinking about how to get in contact with Taani, he calls his father again. "Dad please tell me where Taani is, please dad." He begs his father, "Swayam she doesn't want to talk to you rn", "I know dad, I know I messed up but I am sorry, I let her down and that I am the worse brother in the world but I need to meet her dad, if she wants to scream at me or hit me, fine but I have to meet her and apologize dad, I just have to." "Swayam use thoda time de, let her cool down a bit, she is very angry at you rn"

"I know dad and I deserve it but I can't right my wrong if I don't talk to her right?" "Swayam calm down, me Mumbai aa rha hoon kuch dino me, I will make you guys meet on this Monday, okay?" "Thank you dad, thank you so much!" they hang up after talking for a bit. Taani ke Krishna ji please meri help karna use manane me. 

He is still angry at Sharon and others so decides to skip college. He finishes his assignments and spends the day in bed mostly. 

Gang

"Rey, Sharon and Swayam ke bina kitna ajeeb lag rha he na?" Vicky says, "haan babu" Neha replies, "Kya Swayam sach me Sharon se breakup kar lega?" Vishakha says, "Abey yeh sab us Taani ki wajah se ho rha he, mene suna tha ki kal woh aayi thi college, usi ne Swayam ko kuch patti chadhai hogi" Bharath says. They all agree.
