“yaar Bunty tu samajh kyu nahi raha... kaise karega tu ghar par saare arrangements jab Anupama bahar jaane ke liye mana kar rahi hai? usko pata chal gaya hai ki maine bhi vrat rakha hai”  grumped Anuj on the call as he paced the balcony floor.... “hahaha kya? tune bhi vrat rakha hai? matlab ab do channiya order karni hongi?”  Bunty laughed pulling his leg...”Buntyyyyy ...focus!” yelled Anuj  “ yaar mera vrat rakhna is not the issue here, Anu keh rahi hai ke ghar par hi rahegi poora din spend...ab kya karein?” 

Bunty continued laughing at his crazyily and hopelessly in love friend and said “ yaar Anuj tu toh mahaan aashiq se ab ek aadarsh patnivrata mahapurush ban gaya hai“ and carried on laughing....”bas kar yaar Bunty, bakwaas na kar, agar tu kuch nahi kar sakta toh main De-vi-ka.....” and Bunty quickly sobered up. Anuj knew this would work and it did... Bunty was miffed and said “dekh yaar uss Devika ka naam na lena, badi hi nakchadi aur moohphat bandi hai...mai kar raha hoon na tera kaam, tu bas sab mujh par chod de aur tu bhabi ke saath quality time spend kar main sab sambhaal loonga” he assured.

on the other side of the balcony

“Devikaaaa bata ne kya karu?” begged Anu..she wanted to plan something special for Anuj...she knew she could never match him when it came to ways of showing love but this time she wanted to try and put in extra effort to make Anuj feel loved and appreciated for all that he does. She also knew that these things came to Anuj naturally while she was a novice in the area and that she could rely on her dear friend Devika to share her expertise but...”Anu meri baat sun, tu kyun ye sab karna chahti hai? uske liye ye sab matter nahi karta yaar!” Devika knew them both very well... “jaanti hoon Devika...Anuj ke liye ye sab jaroori nahin hai par mera mann karta hai ke mai unhein saari khushiyaan doon aur unhein batao ke main unse kitna pyaar karti hoon...pyaar karna hi kaafi nahi hota na Devika, jatana bhi toh padhta hai...” reasoned Anu in a melancholic tone realising her desire to make up for the lost time. 

“ chal ab zyada senti na ho...Anu yaar main jaanti hoon tu kya keh rahi hai, aur ye bhi jaanti hoon ke Anuj ko bas tu chahiye aur kuch nahi”  Devika sensed Anu’s guilt and didnt want her to be upset...” par Devika...” said Anu and Devika quickly perked up the conversation saying “accha chal mai kuch romantic sa plan karti hoon tum dono ke liye aur tu ab jaa aur wo kar jo Anuj ko actual mein chahiye tujhse...samajh gayi na mai kya keh rahi hoon? “....Anu turned a pale red as smiled and hung up the call saying “paagal....”

a few hours later.....

“Devika tu help kar sakti hai? ye Bunty se kuch nahi hoga” sighed Anuj on the call. “kaun Bunty? scooter wala?” Devika tried to place him. “haan wahi” said Anuj hoping Devika didn’t remember what happened the last time they had all met. “ Anuj tune mere hote hue uss Bunty ki help li? tu bhool gaya kya ke 26 saal pehle uski scooter ki wajah se tu Anu ko...” she reminded...” Devika..Devika woh sab purani baatein hai, ab toh Anu meri hai na, tu woh sab chod aur meri help kar! “ ...Anuj was glad she only remembered Bunty from back then and if she knew it was the same guy who tried to flirt with her at the reunion she would have bitten his head off... He sighed with relief when Devika shared her plan for the evening and signed off saying “ jaa ab tu Bunty ke sath team up kar aur mai apni biwi ke saath you know ______. ________.   ___________”.
