Rey took her to a cafe on a simple coffee date which she liked a lot, even she wanted something like this, the duo sat together, sipping their coffees while having light conversation.
"Taani, what are your future plans? I mean, after 12th-"
"I'll do business management, and then help dad in his office." Taani answered him with a smile.
"Wow! So, that means we can take admission in same college and will be together-" Rey mumbled to himself but loud enough for her to hear, she smiled understanding the meaning of his words.
Rey was smiling, now he doesn't have to worry about getting separate from her after their school end, they will be in same field and same college too, since they both are very good in studies and can get admission in any top college of the city.
"Taani-" Rey called out for her softly. Taani look at him with soft smile.
"Tomorrow, we have an important basketball match with Williams, will you come to support me?" Rey asked her, hoping for a positive reply. This match is really important for their school basket ball team, if they win it then they will go, and he want her to come, to support him.
"Off-course, I'll come to support our captain." Taani beamed, giving him a wide smile.
"Yes! Thanks, beautiful-" Rey returned the smile, inside he was jumping.
"After the match, I'll confess my feelings to you." Rey thought to himself, staring at her intensely as she grew nervous under his watch. They continued their talks when a voice interrupted them.
"Rey!" Their head snapped at the source of the voice.
"Dad!" Taani & Rey both shouted in unison, seeing their fathers standing there, looking at them with shock & confusion.
"Taani! Beta, what are you doing here?" Her father, Rishi asked her, he look at his business partner, Ranvijay who was staring at his son with same expression as his.
"Dad-" Rey fumbled, nervous to see his dad there along with hers. He look at taani who lowered her eye lashes, nervous & scared of her father's reaction. Rishi look at Ranvijay, by seeing their children, they could tell for that they were there.
"I guess, we had disturbed them-" Ranvijay whispered to him.
"Agree. I should have understand last night only when her mother told me about my daughter's liking toward a guy-" Rishi mumbled while staring at his daughter who was looking down.
"By looking at them, I can tell one day they will turn our friendship into rishtedaari." Ranvijay commented while eying the young couple.
"Lets leave, ranvijay. It's awkward to see my daughter with her boyfriend. She is still my baby girl-" Rishi said to him, Ranvijay laughed but nodded in agreement.
"We are leaving, you guys enjoy your date." Ranvijay said to them before he left the cafe with Rishi, leaving their children shocked with their reaction, surely they had expected some dramatic reaction, not this.
"Should i be worried that my father doesn't care, i'm here with you-" Taani's voice broke his trance.
"I expected some drama, I was literally imagining your dad to drag you from here and locking you up in some room." Rey mumbled, still in shock.
"Then you would have come as a savior and fight with my father for me. Too filmy, Rey." Taani said to him, Rey chuckled at her words.
"We both have got quite cool parents."
"I agree." Taani giggled as she spoke, They both burst into fits of laughter remembering their parents reaction.
