Chapter six

5pm , Moga (virks residence.) 

As soon he reached Moga, angad rushed to virks to find out about fateh and tejo, if they got married at his mandap as he paved way for their union unexpectedly at the very last moment. 

He was taken into a huge surprise coming to know that  fateh met with an accident with a lorry travelling speedily  from the opposite direction as the driver lost control due to failure in the brakes when he(fateh)  was riding his bike to purchase last minute decoration items to be utilised in the wedding. 

And with that he suffered severe head injuries resulting into a parial memory lost and could only recall his and jasmin's first marriage to be functions. The last he remembered was when he proposed for jasmin's hand. The doctor also cautioned the families that he was not to be given any kind of mental stress and to just play along with him. "Just pretend that everything was ok"

A flashback of 4 hrs ago at the hospital

"Doctor, how's my son now", kushveer enquired anxiously holding the shattered gurpreet in his arms for a support as soon as the doctor came to visit the families waiting outside the ICU. 

The doctor elaborated on some medical terms which the families couldn't understand stating fateh suffered from a partial memory loss and not to be given any sort of stress . His memory shall return with time. 

Tejo , who has regained her consciousness seconds earlier was extremely shocked . Has fateh forgotten her? 

She didn't dare to go into the room and waited alone outside the door as the rest walked in. Abhiraj held her tightly wrapping her in his arms for a sibling support. 

" Sis, everything will be fine". 

Minutes later, she ran away crying loudly when fateh asked for jasmin and enquired the families about his and jasmin's first marriage preparations. 

They were all devastated that he couldn't recall the actual events but played along for his well being. 

Fateh was discharged two hours  later as he was adamant to go home and started throwing  tantrums that finally the doctor agreed to release him 

Tejo returned to her home with her family stating she wanted to be alone a while. They respected her privacy. 

Minutes later angad's text message came in spilling the events that occurred in the morning and apologised for his absence at the wedding. 

He stated that he was driving back to Moga and would meet them for an apology.

Sandhus were relieved to hear that riya was saved and rupi was determined to get tejo hitched to angad at any cost now that fateh could only recall her sister. He will be romancing her and tejo would be left alone at one corner weeping. 

4pm in a hotel room, Moga

Jasmin was delighted to receive a phone call from her mother requesting her to return home immediately. Fateh lost his memory and was asking for her. She got her old fateh. She was glad that happiness was on her way and tejo got the share of her(Jasmin) sorrows. 

Gippy and fateh were definitely plotting something huge.
